My experience of this park keeps on getting better and we ended up this time going on the busiest days like Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I went one day on a Thursday, but that is when we landed. We usually tend to get here an hour and 15 minutes early as they open the gates right at 9:00am. I recommend going to the not self serve parking as for some reason my phone did not scan to open the gate and it is easier for the person to scan the phone. If you are having trouble someone will come and scan for you. For Gold and Prestige members we got to into the park 30 minutes early and they opened up Diamondback, the updated Phantom Theatre and Great Pumpkin Coaster. If you have a regular ticket, you can explore the shops or wait at your favorite ride. I like the Peanuts characters are in one showplace too so you can go visit them. Here are the places I ate at as I have the meal pass: 1. Sports Bar - sit down place, food takes awhile to get, but you are relaxing at a table, while they come and give you your food. This place gets crowded 2. Mexican Place - not too bad, guacamole is extra however 3. Paris French - had the shrimp sandwich, but the chips were salty, bread has on the hard side 4. BBQ - I did not try it, but the meat looked really dry 5. Tom Chee - this place is good, but only if you like greasy sandwiches. Very filling for sure I recommend getting the blue ice cream and the red soda only available on selection locations. I tend to have at least one cup and ice cream per visit I did not buy too much merchandise this time around, but I like the Snoopy Store to visit. Shows For some reason, they do not do any Peanuts shows anymore. We watched Brad Ross, illusionist and he was fun to watch and a 50 minute show. We watched his show 4 times, but sometimes it was a way to escape the heat and take a nap and figure out how he did some of the tricks. Seating is comfortable. They do have live entertainment like dancers or singers in some areas. They do have the wine festival, but we did not buy a card since we have a meal plan. Rides (I rode the following) and here are my thoughts this time around as they might be different since the last review 1. Banshee - gotton rougher over the years and the vest restraints got tighter on me 2. Drop Zone - this ride worked on the last 2 days, show operations, but recommend to ride once 3. Congo Falls - sometimes this operates on certain days, but fun to get soaked 4. Bat - an okay ride, only ride it if the line is short 5. White Water Canyon - you will get soaked by the geyers, this ride opens from 12 to 9pm 6. Charlie Brown Rushing River - Fun log ride, line moves slow, I wish they would open both lanes. 7. Snoopy Soap Box Racers - fun kids ride 8. Woodstock Twirly Birds Ride - I always have fun being in the helicopter, ride is too short though 9. Mystic Timbers - fun wooden ride, lines are not long on this one 10. Diamondback - this line tends to get long for some reason and can be longer than Orion 11. the Beast - we like doing a day time ride which line is very short and night time ride line gets long. They do shut the ride down at 9:30pm for the fireworks show and reopen at 10:20pm. My wife and I sometimes do not get out of the park until 11:30pm. Night ride is definitely worth it. The ride has definitely gotton smoother 12. Orion - definitely one of my favorite rides - I wish they had more shade on the line queue, but lines do move quickly 13. Red Racer/Blue Racer - I prefer the red racer more smoother compared to the blue 14. Windseeker - slow operations on this one, but the line is not long, but a great view of the park 15. Adventure Express - pretty neat ride for visual, but rough riding it 16. Woodstock Air Flyers - this ride tends to get longer, but I find it a little on a shaky side 17. Antique Cars - we like going on this ride. Line might look long, but it ends up being around 20 minutes Rides I did not go on this trip but wanted to Flight of Fear - some reason this line got the longest and I do not know why, but definitely not worth waiting for 40 minutes. I think I rode this ride a bunch when it was raining and all of the other rides were closed. Overall a great time and have a fun time at this park.

But the en-crappification of the service was absolutely abysmal in that short of time. The service was horrendous, the lines were horrendous, and the way every system here is set up is designed for you to fail, while they squeeze every cent out of you while doing it. We started out bad, due to the fact it wasn't even half a day, it was 5 hours, which why?? It's August, and 85 degrees outside! What do you mean it's not summer? They charge full price for 5 hours. The total paid was $200 for 2 people. DO NOT GO ON WEEKDAYS PAST JULY, THEY ARE ALL LIKE THIS! The moment we got there, we were very early in the line as we got there hours early. How are we repaid for our wait? They claimed the tickets we ordered online were invalid. I refreshed the tickets, and the staff member at the gate refused to try to re-scan it, and told us to go to the tickets support kiosk. We had to surrender our spot in line, and then we had to wait in line in tickets support. And what did they tell us? That it was fine and it was just an error. We had to go to the BACK OF THE LINE for this. It took us nearly 30 minutes to get in.. And reminder, we had 5 hours. So after our very limited time was absolutely wasted over incompetence, we finally got in, and went to get something to eat. The portions are absolutely horrendous for the price you pay. You're better off getting McDonald's before you go. The "Meal plan" isn't even worth it due to how little you get and the time you have between your orders. Mind you, it's $40-ish to get. The whole thing about minors having to be accompanied by an adult at all time is a complete joke, the entire time we were getting steam-rolled by random children at all times. One even almost knocked me to the ground they hit me at such force. And their parents were nowhere in sight. I seen children get on rides for adults by themselves with no adult in sight, I even seen children casually walking around alone with no parent to be found. Clearly they do not enforce this, and that's dangerous. You think you got a solid spot in line? Nope, too bad! The amount of people cutting in line will have your blood boiling, and they aren't punished for it at all. Children and adults alike just help themselves to the front like it's nothing. Not only that but my mom got harassed by a random man in the line, so that's great too I guess, just what we always wanted! Was nothing done about him? Nope! Of course not silly! The routes you take to get to anything are the absolute worst ways of travel I've seen in my existence. It's like you have to walk all the way to Dagestan to get to a Viking ship. Not to mention that if you want a specific restaurant, get ready to do a 5 mile hike to it. Don't even try it in the dark, you're not going to have a fun time. In the 5 hours we had, we only got to ride 4 things. And this was us spending our entire time getting to rides, except for the beginning. We wanted to finish off our day by riding The Beast. The line was 80 minutes long. And that's not even counting the amount of people cutting the line in front of us. And, they cut off and shut it down right as soon as we were about to be let in. We waited forever in the crowd of screaming adults for nothing. At the end of the day, I was left defeated, drained, exhausted, stressed beyond belief, mentally overwhelmed, and upset. A theme park isn't a place you're supposed to feel like you got yelled at by your boss, you're supposed to make great memories, but this is an experience I will never reflect on positively and will remember for the rest of my life as the place that damaged my very soul.

The kid in charge then said "ya, that too." Pizza crust has the texture of Hot Pockets. I overheard a kid saying "it tastes like school pizza." Though I think that may be true for most play places. Grip socks are now required. Yes, this place is fun for kids. Fun factor is still four stars. The facilities themselves are far from their former glory.

When we entered the building they had a historical video playing. They took us through a quick tour of the whole building, then brought us back to the start to explore on our own. We had lots of rich paranormal activity through flashlights and the Estes method. My sister's roomate saw a shadow figure. All four of us heard voices in the body chute, but nobody was at the bottom. In another part of the building is also a haunted house and an escape room, but we didn't do any of that.

As many other curious visitors of Waverly Hills we were in search of history, architecture and the paranormal. TB was widespread in the area, resulting in a waiting list to stay at the sanatorium. Despite its name, Waverly Hills was not a mental hospital; a sanatorium is any institution that provides treatment and convalescence for chronic illnesses. Our tour guide was a member of the Historical Society. The experience included a guided tour where we were lead, at least partially, across all 5 floors and we also had the chance to look down the body chute. Waverly Hills has a reputation as one of the most haunted places in America and has been featured on ghost hunting shows as "Ghost Hunters," "Ghost Adventures," "Paranormal Lockdown," and "Buzzfeed Unsolved." There were some 30 of us in the tour... the historical stories shared with us were interesting and cool but I did not feel any of the following: full grabs, see shadows, apparitions, or shadow people, feel permanent residents walking up to people, taps, temp changes-cold spots, or hotspots, heard screams, footsteps nor door slamming. Too many people on our tour but I can't complain because we were just lucky to get in as extras. We never had to worry about a lack of communication, itinerary changes, or that anyone would be left behind. The structure of the tour allowed us some later morning starts as well as time every day to experience the location that we were staying in; to explore the town, and to see and do what the locals do. This was a big selling point of this tour for us, to not feel rushed every day and to have time to soak it all in. We also stayed at great hotels, which were at the least nice (as well as clean), but we even had a surprise stay in the most gorgeous castle rooms one night of our tour! We appreciated the smaller size of our tour group (18 folks, not counting Adrian, Aaron, and Ronan), which allowed for a more personal connection with our guides, as well as with each other. By the end of the tour, we all felt like family, and it was quite an emotional goodbye, which, in part, I think was likely due to the smaller group size, which allowed us to get to know each other. It also didn't feel like you were just a number, as it can feel with a larger tour group. Every single person on the tour felt important, included, and a part of the group. The itinerary was clear from day one when we signed up for this tour, and we were fortunate that there were no changes to our itinerary (likely due to thoughtful and good planning on Mai and Adrian's part), and instead, any changes to our itinerary were just enhancements or bonus surprises. It is good to know that you are going to get what you pay for with one of these types of tours. Adrian brought us not only to some well-known tourist locations but also to some off-the-beaten-path locations, making our tour feel more personalized and special. I am so grateful that I was finally able to experience the beauty of Ireland and its people, and I already can not wait to return. I am grateful that we went on this tour with Aaron and Secret Ireland Tours, and we would love to attend another in the future. I will never forget this trip and the special connections that we made with so many while experiencing this beautiful country.
