(If you don't want to read the full review just know we were highly satisfied) After being very disappointed with other well companies, by either not being able to come out for a day or more or not answering the phone like a professional company, we called Williston Well & Pump. At first I think my phone dropped the call and to my surprise I was called right back. I didn't answer because at that moment I was helping my daughter with something. Steve left a message saying he was sorry he missed my call and if I needed service please don't hesitate to call back, so I did. He was very nice and came out within two hours. He was very sick when he got here, but very professional. I told him what was going on and he explained why and was very fair with price estimates. I looked up price and service charges for my area. He was very understanding. He did need to come back the following day and put in a new tank. However, the weather was terrible, but he said he was watching the weather. The other three returned my call after 4 to 7 days. When you have an issue with your well you just can't wait multiple days to resolve it. I talked to a half dozen local well companies in the Williston/Ocala area about installing an emergency hand pump on my well. It was like talking to used car salespeople and quoted prices were anywhere from 20% to 60% higher than quoted by Williston Well. In short the installation went as Steve said it would for the very reasonable price he said it would. There will be no surprises with Williston Well. He did not leave the property until he was certain the entire well system was working at 100%. The Simple Pump is a beautiful product, the installation was professional to the max and I have no concern that future service needs will be responded to promptly. Steve does an incredible job. I had another friend of a friend come out and do some well work for me and the final product was lacking. I ran into some issues late night and gave Steve a call, not only was he about to make out same day but he was in my driveway in about an hour and a half. Steve was a professional who knows his craft. He was able to walk me through some of the troubleshooting and identified my issue in no time. Not only was he able to get my pump back up and running, he was able to go back and sort some lingering issues the previous company had left. Highly satisfied! I had a well that wouldn't come on, and contacted the company by email. Got a response that day, and Steve was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. He called me back later that day with a couple repair options and prices, and came out that day to do the repair (new tank and pressure switch install). The whole job took about 15 minutes, very impressed! Clear communication throughout, a fair price, honest dealings and recommendations from Steve (the owner and worker).
