My skin is clear and smooth for the most part thanks to my acne meds and receiving facials from an esthetician years prior to combat my acne. I saw the ad on Facebook for the first facial laser treatment to be 50$ and figured why not! Seems like a good deal. I was required to fill out medical information prior to my appointment which is standard, I've gotten a laser facial before (4 years ago now at a different place) and they want to make sure whatever you are on medication wise doesn't interact with the treatments. I received text reminders about my appointment and the day of I received a text with instructions on where to park and where they were located. I am familiar with Downtown Pasadena and know it can be a little busy so I made sure to get here early! The place itself is a small office so I can see why being on time is important. The interior was welcoming, the front staff was friendly, the decor is lively with semi private seating areas to have your consultation. I met with Dailee for my consultation and she was really sweet, informative and easy to talk to. She went over the treatments they offer along with membership promotions, it did not feel pushy at all. Bilal was my nurse. He was also informative and efficient in going over what the treatment would do, how it would feel, and how to care for my skin afterwards. Both Dailee and Bilal were upfront on treatments needing to be consistent to see a major difference. The laser treatment itself was very quick and painless. I have tough skin and it just felt like a hot compress was being wiped over my face. Afterwards Bilal rubbed in serum and SPF so I was good to go! For the next 24 hours gentle cleanser, gentle moisturizer and minimal sun contact. I am not able to commit to the memberships or consistency needed so I did not sign up. I also have skincare I already like using so I did not purchase any products. I do appreciated the information on products, treatments, and promotions they offer though, nothing felt pushy. I will absolutely be back to do a more intense treatment for my face and neck.

She was wonderful and very comforting. I asked her how I could fade all my dark spots and hyperpigmentation. She recommended doing 12 sessions of Spectra Laser every 2-3 weeks. I decided to do it even though I was afraid it would get worse because you hear all kinds of horror stories. On my first day of laser treatment, Dr. Eric was the person who did it for me. Usually, the nurses would recommend that you come 30 minutes earlier than your laser treatment to apply numbing cream on your face. The first thing the nurses will do is take all the before pictures, then apply the numbing cream. You'll sit in the waiting room and wait for about 30 minutes and then you wash your face. After, you'll walk into the treatment room and they'll apply charcoal all over your face. Finally, Dr. Eric will start the laser treatment on your face. He applies the laser 3 times around the whole face, each time getting stronger and stronger. On the 2nd and 3rd time, he has a fan blowing on your face which helps subside the pain a bit. For me, the pain wasn't too bad. It took about 10-15 minutes. I have to say Dr. Eric is great! He always asks how the pain level is for you and helps you feel better. Overall, I would recommend Spectra Laser Treatment at Rejuvayou to anyone dealing with hyperpigmentation. It works, but it is gradual so be patient. The after picture shows my 12th session (about 6 months) of laser treatment. It made a huge difference and definitely a confidence booster. If you're hesitating like I was, go for a consultation and give it a try. I am currently on 13th session and it is still fading. I am definitely satisfied with how Spectra laser helped eliminate my dark spots.

You could hear them talking about charging me $30 for it vs $20 since I was a Groupon deal (assuming it's already money lost for them). You can hear *everything* because there is no separation between "rooms". Just curtains. My fault for not saying anything in the moment... Outside of this, as alluded to, there are no rooms so there is no privacy or sense of relaxation. If you don't want to be on Groupon because you won't make $$ off of it, then take yourself off. No one is being forced to put themselves on that platform.

All Love is located in Old Town Pasadena and I parked a block away on the streets. I came in for my Sunday 3pm appointment and it was easy for me to find a parking spot. Jody was super nice and sweet and had to lay down for my facial and lash lift. I had requested for a basic facial because she's doing a $79 promo (what a steal!). She explained every step of the process and informed me what's being put on my face after her analysis of my skin. I found out that I had dry skin so she put masks/serums on my skin that hydrates my skin. They use all natural ingredients that aren't harsh for the face and I can feel my skin soaking in the masks and after the appointment, any redness I had on my skin was gone. Jody was the sweetest. She cares about her patients and is conservative when it comes to treatments. Like for botox and filler, you can always get more later. Dissolving filler hurts WAY more than getting it. I know this from first hand experience when my filler migrated a little above my upper lip line - very common since we move our mouths a lot every day. Her injection technique (usually by cannula, so I never get bruising) is flawless. Ive never had bumps in my lips like I've heard other people complaining about from other providers, i generally look great leaving her office and basically never get bruising, even though I hear it's very common. She also will warn me of anything that may cause hyperpigmentation since I'm Asian and have an olive skin tone. I love that she is completely aware of what will cause hyperpigmentation in skin of all ethnicities.
