Everything went amazing, per usual! I have been seeing Marina for a decade! She deserves the 5 star rating she has on Yelp! I was in yelp elite for a while (six years, I believe), but then got lazy on writing reviews. Sorry Yelp! However, my personal Yelp laziness aside, Marina is an extremely qualified nurse practitioner and knowledgeable on every procedure she offers. Her hobby literally is going to trainings. She LOVES what she does and this (working on faces) is her modality of art. She is truly GIFTED! Marina is an adept professional. She is completely transparent regarding what a procedure can and cannot do for you. As well as what she charges (it's all listed on her website: https://www.marinasoasis.com). I'm turning 52 next month and have included a couple recent pics taken 5/26/26 because I look better now than a decade ago. The selfie was taken in Vegas during BTS's "Arirang: The City Las Vegas" event. If you are interested in perfect aesthetics execution while talking about BTS, k-dramas and the best Chinese restaurant in the area, go to Marina...oh, she also knows which bakeries sell mooncakes year round, Marina should be your "go-to" provider. I absolutely trust Marina. I've tried to push her to turn up the ResurFX laser and she said "no, because i don't want to burn you or bring out any hyperpigmentation". She cares about her patients and is conservative when it comes to treatments. Like for botox and filler, you can always get more later. Dissolving filler hurts WAY more than getting it. I know this from first hand experience when my filler migrated a little above my upper lip line - very common since we move our mouths a lot every day. Her injection technique (usually by cannula, so I never get bruising) is flawless. Ive never had bumps in my lips like I've heard other people complaining about from other providers, i generally look great leaving her office and basically never get bruising, even though I hear it's very common. She also will warn me of anything that may cause hyperpigmentation since I'm Asian and have an olive skin tone. I love that she is completely aware of what will cause hyperpigmentation in skin of all ethnicities. This reminds me, I need to book a botox and ResurFX laser appointment with her...lol Truly amazing woman, tons of knowledge about everything, She is the best Master Injector and Aesthetics Provider that i have ever met and had the pleasure of her work done on me. My partner and I booked a joint appointment here for a chemical peel. During the consultation and explanation of the process, expectations, and results, the provider only spoke to and made eye contact with me, completely ignoring and failing to acknowledge my partner. As a lesbian interracial couple (I am white, my partner is Asian), the exclusionary behavior felt deeply biased and unacceptable. My partner did not feel safe, respected, or welcomed here. Updated review: I did have several good experiences with Marina with great results. However, the most recent Botox visit different. I followed the directions as usual and explicitly, however several weeks in I still didn't see any difference. I had very noticeable changes previously and when I reached out to Marina she let me know she offers "touch ups" a few weeks in and agreed the results weren't ideal. When I reached out to Marina, I asked for a refund which declined and said it'd be a short time before I was ready for the next session. Granted, there are several reasons Botox wouldn't be effective but there are also provider-and medication dependent reasons. Finding Marina was simply serendipity! My regular doctor was completely booked, and I was getting a little tired of his stuck up staff and wait times, so I asked my sister for a recommendation. She told me about Marina and she was able to get me right in before the end of the year since I can only do Not only is it closer to my home, the prices are comparable to the doctor I had been seeing for years in Glendale, and she takes more time to get to know her patients. Marina is warm and inviting, and very knowledgeable on every aspect of health, beauty and fillers! I immediately fell at ease in her office, and knew I had made the right decision. I had been going to Marina for years and now decided not to use her any more for services. I called her in November to inform her she hit a wrong spot and sent her pictures of my right eye that dropped due to botox shots. The skin dropped onto my eyelid and had no rt visible eyelid. I informed her that for 2 days immediately after I had frightening pain in my right eyeball. Instead of comforting me she became defensive. So I decided not to use her services. I couldnt see my eyelid for months and especially the holidays. All the pictures I took for the next three months I had to cover with my hair and drama eyebrow higher. I just had my first appointment for Kybella with Marina. My first impression was that the office and center was super clean and well kept. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helped check me in while doing COVID compliance. A lot of medical offices I go to are pretty old and drab - so I was pleasantly surprised at the whole aesthetic (pun intended). Marina welcomed me and went over the treatment plan. Wow.... Marina is the best of the best. I walked in, first of all, her office is so cute and has such a good energy :) She has little trinkets from all over the World that clients bring her. Little amethyst crystal and the cutest backsplash :) Enough about the office, Marina is a star. I walked in, wanting to get my nasal lines filled and add more volume to my lips. After a quick aesthetic check, she suggested cheek filler instead, which would even out my face, and she also pointed out that one of my cheeks was more full than the other. As to my lips, she said they were already large and suggested I actually dissolve some of it, above my top lip, some had travelled. Being a new patient at Marina's Oasis was such a great experience that I needed to write this review. The office location is in a very nice building with easy access to the parking structure. Inside Marina's office, the area is clean and decorated very nicely! The office has all the new gadgets and machines and is ready to make you as beautiful as you want to be! I also liked the availability of so many information brochures while you wait for your appointment. I met Marina and immediately liked her friendly, welcoming nature. My daughter had first gone to see her for facial hair removal. My daughter had mentioned how great the experience was and how she enjoyed meeting Marina and getting her hair removal. She had told me how Marina was not an upsell kind of person and she loved that. So I decided it was time for me to go see Marina myself for facial fillers and botox. She spoke to me very nicely and told me exactly what procedures I could benefit from. I have been to several spas where the owner immediately makes you feel like you are in desperate need of a million procedures and so you end up feeling quite unattractive. Marina is not like that: she tells you what you need in such a kind, polite way and does not start rambling off a ton of procedures needed. After you decide what service you would like, she begins and even ices/numbs the location so there is no pain. At one point, during a filler injection, I thought it would hurt, so she literally stopped to hold my hand! The procedure did not hurt as she is very, very gentle but the idea of her holding my hand was such a kind gesture that I am a customer for life now! I am late to injections. My friends have been doing it for over a decade but I was always afraid. I have sensitive skin and tons of allergies so I was terrified I would react. Age was starting to show and I was getting desperate. Out of all my friends, one stands out. Her results have been amazing. So natural looking. When I read her Yelp reviews, I decided that I would do this only with her. I live out of state so I scheduled a consultation for my vacation. I am so glad that I did! First, TRUST Marina. If you go in with an idea of what you want done and are fixated on that, she will do it for you, but like other reviewers have said - she knows best! She asked what I didn't like and I told her. Then, she told me what she saw and recommended. There was zero hard sell. I was still hesitating. She allowed me time to think. She assured me we didn't have to do anything. She took the client after me while I sat in the waiting room with the paperwork and texted my best friends. By the time she finished, I was ready to do this! Marina is SO gentle. My sensitive skin did NOT even bruise. I bruise with everything! I did Juvederm Voluma in my cheeks for a little lift and just a touch of Botox to get rid of my 11s and lift my eyebrows on the corner again. I cannot believe the difference 14 days later! Apparently, everyone had been terrified I would look 'plastic.' The comments I get are 'You look like you, but after the best night of sleep!', 'You look refreshed!', 'It's so natural!' Marina was super responsive and even followed up after my first chemical peel. I reached out to her one day because of my interest and curiosity surrounding the VI Peel, and Marina was able to answer all my questions. Although I had set an appointment to get one, I ended up going for a less intense peel since it was going to be my fist chemical peel. The peel I ended up getting was a peel Marina put together herself, and much less expensive than the VI Peel. She was so gentle with my skin and really made sure I didn't have a negative reaction from beginning to end. She was so kind to also follow up and see how I was doing a few days later. Although I don't think the peel I got was as effective as I would have hoped, it was a great introduction to chemical peels. I loved the immediate results, but I'll definitely go for something more intense next time. Her office doesn't validate for parking, and it's an office within an office. She has her own waiting area, though. Keep in mind Marina isn't a dermatologist, so you'll have to see a medical specialist if you have anything deeper that superficial issues. I have been seeing Marina regularly years and she is fantastic! She has a clear focus on helping me achieve natural results with treatments that are appropriate for my face. She has even talked me out of treatments that I have asked about in the past, explaining why they would not work well for my face and possibly create a strange or overdone effect (which I have been grateful for). I was referred to Marina's through a good friend in the skincare industry that I know and trust. I needed Botox and a lip filler to correct an uneven, saggy lip that made me feel uneasy when speaking to clients close up. I loved how close it was to home and how knowledgeable she was. Previously I have been over injected with a dental block and was surprised that her gentle hand and great technique did not require that. I took two days off, expecting swelling and it was so minimal I was able to go back to work. I was completely impressed and would certainly return here anytime. My experiences at Marina's Oasis have been fabulous; in particular, I am writing to rave about the recent chemical peel I received there. Marina made the experience painless and hassle-free; she explained every part of the procedure and how I would need to prep before and recover afterwards. As always, she was kind, quick and lovely to be around. She gave me a take-home kit of lotions and sunscreens to complete my peel. The results were more than I could have hoped for. Approximately 70% of my skin discoloration (dark brown spots) were removed by the peel and I had 'baby skin' afterwards. You certainly need three or four days of downtime to recover (I would not be comfortable leaving the house with that level of facial peeling) but the results were incredible and well worth it. I have to begin by saying that I had never had botox before. I called Marina because my OBGYN is Dr. Park, which is next door. I saw the great yelp reviews which made me feel comfortable to call and set an appointment. She is such a patient, kind, and sweet person. She took the time to explain everything to me since like I mentioned, it was my first time. I have a vein the pops out occasionally on my forehead. Due to that I bruised very lightly after the botox but Marina sent me home with an ice pack and the brusing vanished by the next day or so.
