My mom loves to get her cleanings here so she referred me . She always has good things to say about the place. I came here for a whole different procedure where i am gonna end up needing an implant. Yeah definitely a situation that makes me nervous so i wanna make sure i go to the right place. I first came just to get a second opinion and then this place ended up being my place to go too. I've never been to an office so friendly and they really do seem to care. They have a great way of explaining things here and really make you feel comfortable. I am not fully done yet but i am really impressed. I felt comfortable asking questions and i think i even learned things i never knew before, i am pretty impressed. I have been going to this dentist for several years. The staff are welcoming and professional. After evaluation, you are shown the projected cost for your approval. They take Care Credit, which I have to use, since I have no dental insurance. Dr. Anandhi is a skilled and compassionate dentist. She wants to make sure you are comfortable. I had a bad toothache so ended up needing a root canal and crown. It required 2 visits. I had very little discomfort during the drilling. In fact, the anesthesia wore off fairly quickly and had minimal pain after. I highly recommend this dentist!! read more

Hands down, I have never had such lovely receptionists and dental assistants help me out at a dentist appointment and now I know why. They're ( Maria & Edith & Gina) all here! About the pricing and professional aspect of this visit however that's another conversation which cost the one star. Like everyone else, I just want transparency and fair pricing, to get the service I need without the extras plus feel like I'm valued so that I may want to return. Other than that my experience was overall great and smooth, payment went well, setting up my future appointment was a breeze, ordering my meds at an appropriate clinic underwent a minor hiccup but I called and they resolved quickly. Very thankful I trusted the great reviews for this place, both on Yelp and Facebook! Professional, friendly staff, and a quiet but confident dentist. I called on a Friday afternoon for an emergency visit. We are new to the area, and I didn't know where to go with my toothache that was getting worse by the day! We also have terrible insurance, which basically covers me to see any 1 star rated dentist I want- not very comforting when you can't find a single dentist that has even decent reviews. Willow Dentistry said I could come in for $129 to be examined and x-rayed- so I opted to go for it. Sadly, I ended up needing a root canal (but honestly the ache was so bad I thought they were gonna have to pull my tooth out!) Dr Anandhi was able to accommodate me, staying late on a Friday night to make sure I was taken care of. Her staff was very clear about the cost of the procedure, which I was willing to pay out of pocket because nothing beats feeling in "good hands". It was also not something I was willing to wait days to address (with a crack pot dentist that may do more damage than good.) She prescribed an antibiotic and I will have a follow up appointment next week. But THANK YOU for saying yes to this frantic lady who didn't know where else to go. I found a groupon online and decided to give this place a try. $59 for a teeth cleaning, x-ray and check up. I called before I got the groupon and was scheduled immediately. They had a good amount of availability. I scheduled for a 9 am on a Tuesday, got there at 8:55, and filled out paperwork. I was in the dentist chair at 9:10am and x-rays were started. The dental assistant was nice, however she had to ask me a few times to hold the xray machine. The dentist came and started right there. She did the cleaning and then another assistant did the polishing. 9:40 am I was done. Quick service. Convenient location and parking. Gets the job done, and it was a lot worse than I remember at previous dentist locations. read more

Friendly staff . Seen quickly. Skilled dentist. I had a wisdom tooth extracted and they ensured I would feel no pain. The dentist provided me extra numbing medicine upon my request and didn't rush to start the procedure. It was over very quickly and they let me keep my tooth. Plus my Co-pay was $100 even. I thought that was cheap. After some very bad experiences at Gentle Dentle on Middlefield in Palo Alto I was just looking for a dentist that wouldn't rip me off . Let me start out by saying i am absolutely TERRIFIED of going to the dentist. I literally start tearing up with the thought of setting an appointment. I have a dentist a few cities over and I needed an emergency extraction without traveling. I called this office last minute on a Monday, to set an appointment for the following morning because the pain was so unbearable. The girl at the front dest was so sweet over the phone and reassured me everything with be fine and painless the next morning. The next morning I arrived in a little bit of pain and the wait to get in to see the dentist was so quick and considerate of this. I was so thankful that I wasn't waiting 20-30 minutes allowing my pain to increase. So that was AMAZING. I was taken to the back for x-rays by another super sweet girl, that made me very comfortable, telling me that the extraction procedure was super quick and it will be done before I know it. When brought back to my room this same girl set up all the tools, that will be used, behind my back. This small detail was EVERYTHING. I was so thankful that they really CARED how I felt and that they were trying to hard to keep me calm. Before the extraction another woman brought me and my boyfriend yogurt because I hadn't eaten yet, and wouldn't be eating for a few hours. . they are just a great team here, really take care of you! The procedure was done quickly and efficiently and I am so thankful for these 4 women making me so comfortable! This will be my new regular dentist. Thanks again ladies!!!! read more

I went to the dentist today. I scheduled an appt through Groupon for a cleaning and exam. They took x rays and I told the dentist I was having pain in my upper back tooth. I told her, I couldn't even tip off of it, or I was in severe pain. Despite, me telling her this, she twice poked my gum with the metal scaple around the tooth in pain. I nearly hopped off the chair, then to do it a second time unbelievable!!! the dental assistant seemed clueless. She couldn't figure out what was causing the pain, despite the x rays. She said I needed to see a specialist. Never in all my life have I had such a bad experience at a dentist. I don't know if it was because I was using Groupon as I got a crappy cleaning on top of it all. I don't recommend this place. In fact, I think I'm going to stop using Groupon. This is my first Yelp review but really wanted to let people know about my positive experience at Willow Family Dentistry. I was way overdue for a cleaning and I also get really stressed and nervous at the dentist, but Dr. Anandhi and Barb were great. I was overreacting and jumping at every noise but they were both so patient and kind to me. They had a very calming presence and made me feel much less stressed. The front desk staff is great as well, really friendly, professional and helpful. If going to the dentist makes you anxious, this is the place for you. I was scared to get teeth pulled knowing I would get my braces on the same day, but staff there we're really nice, patient, and supportive with me that it went better than expected so really the only pain I got after was the braces because they feel weird on but within a week I was able to eat well again.
