We eat here at least once a month. The fish is always delicious. Beans and hush puppies are complimentary. Their vinegar slaw is to die for

Got to love this place because it's down home southern cooking without all the lard and stuff that makes you regret the meal before you're finished eating eating it, seriously. My honey is not a big fan of "country cooking" places but she's okay with this one. They do a good job of lightly dusting & non-greasy frying so that's a good start but you can get most menu items grilled or blackened which is a very good thing for her. It's not a huge menu but something for most appetites. There's steak burgers, grilled chicken, hamburger steak and a ribeye but their big focus is on their catfish. You can get platters, Po boys and even an AYCE option. They also have tilapia (not a good option), popcorn shrimp, garlic herb or fried shrimp, frog legs and their cod is pretty good too. Bottom line: They do a good job with their food, well cooked and seasoned with very nice service and friendly folks.

Pond platter was delicious! Loved it!!

Excellent catfish, hush puppies and vinegar coleslaw. White beans and hush puppies are served with your drinks and refills are as needed. Frog legs and popcorn shrimp are also very good. Wait time on Saturday night was around 20 minutes. Service was good and we would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent place. Everything was great, catfish, the beans, the service. The fried okra was the best I've ever had.

Beans and hush puppies were good but the rest was just okay. I'd will check out other food options before going back.

Great place for catfish and all the fixings. Leave room for the fresh pie of the day; maybe two slices.

This place is fantastic! Could make a meal from the beans and hush puppies alone. Some of the best catfish in the area too!

We got there a bit early so that we could wander around the shops. They do have moonshine tasting, which was fun. I liked hearing about Calvin and Mr. Bill. I could easily see how people could spend a whole day here: For dinner, we were in a room with butterflies and flowers. When you looked around, it's almost as if you didn't know where to focus your attention. I ordered a drink and the burger ($2 upcharge after 4pm). The burger was ok but the fries were delicious. Our server, Jordan, kept our table laughing every time he came by. Worth checking out if in the area but definitely check out the menu before so you don't get sticker shock on some of the prices.

Food was good, but not enough for the cost. My bill for one was $68 for one alcoholic beverage, a soda, the app for the table, a sandwich and chips, and a piece of pie. Kitschy as hell, which I enjoy. Lots of shops to wander while you wait. Looks like Alice in Wonderland threw up. The staff is the best part. Our server, Jordan, was personable and funny and didn't let any extra costs go by without notifying us. I appreciate that. Everyone was great, and willingly wearing uniforms that seemed uncomfortable at best. But it's part of the theme. Standouts: flower pot bread and strawberry butter, moonshine tastings, and sawdust pie. Go once just to experience it if you're nearby.

For our entrée, we shared the pork shoulder, and it was absolutely delicious. The fennel aioli was such a great touch, and the combination of pork, peas, and greens made for the perfect Southern bite. We enjoyed it so much I wish we could go back tonight! We took a slice of lemon chess pie to go, and it was every bit as delicious as the rest of the meal. Kyle was our server and was fantastic--very knowledgeable and helpful with our selections. The restaurant was busy with a fun, lively atmosphere, but not so loud that we couldn't easily talk and enjoy our dinner. Definitely one of our favorite meals in Paducah!

We showed up right at opening, five o'clock, and there was already a long line of people waiting to get in. Make a reservation. I'm glad we did. We had a party of four and was seated at a low top that had a view of the kitchen. Lively open space with an open kitchen you can see both the cook line and the prep area. The cornbread was the unexpected standout of the entire meal. Mildly sweet, savory, light and fluffy all the way through. I was not expecting a side dish to steal the show, but it did. We also ordered the double stuffed burrata, and the bread it came with deserves its own mention. Crisp, lightly toasted, with just a touch of char. It paired beautifully with the creamy burrata and the accompaniments on the plate. For my entree I went with the grilled Caesar salad and added shrimp. It ended up being the perfect call. The portion was generous, the shrimp addition made it feel like a real meal. The romaine had this excellent crisp char on it that added so much. The dressing was heavenly. One of the best Caesar dressings I have had in a while. My favorite parts of the night had nothing to do with what was on my plate. We got to watch chef Sara Bradley working the kitchen with her team during service, and it was clear why this place has the reputation it does. I'd love to come back and try the prix fixe tasting menu next time. Overall this was a great experience from start to finish. And a must stop or destination when driving through KY.
