I had a great time playing Willowbrook! It was a really pretty, unique course. Excited to play it again.

My coworkers and I were on a work trip and wanted to go somewhere local to dinner. A quick Google…read moresearch brought us here. This was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. We sat on the patio and Jojo was our server - she was such a sweetheart. I ordered a gin and tonic with infused watermelon cucumber gin (delicious) and the chicken italiano. Chicken was seasoned perfectly, pasta side was incredible, roasted vegetables picked from their garden were delicious. My coworkers got the filet, wagu beef tacos, and the seasonal sweet and sour salad. Everyone left satisfied and happy. So much so that we not only recommended all of our other coworkers to go here, but we came back two days later. When we came back, we ran into our coworkers at the bar. We sat outside on the patio and had another incredible meal once again served by the delightful Jojo. I had many more gin and tonics with infused gin and the wagu tacos. My coworkers got crab cakes, the chicken italiano, and filet. Everyone was once again satisfied and happy. It came to closing time and Jojo locked up the front door, turned on the patio lights, and continued serving us. She let us stay out back talking and drinking for 2 hours past closing. It was such a delightful night and I cannot recommend this place enough. Service was incredible, ambiance was wonderful, and the food was delicious. My coworkers and I came from out of town but we all expressed the desire to come back, have another incredible meal, and see Jojo again. It was only after the first time we went that we realized the important work Major Stokes does for the community. The sustainability efforts and work they do with nonprofits is extremely commendable and only made us love them more. I don't write Yelp reviews, but this place was so exceptional that I had to.

My accompaniment had the chicken Alfredo which was good as well but both just needed I tad salt. My eyes feasted on the artwork will my mouth feasted on the plate before me! Btw, pretty plates! Our waitress was very friendly. I was able to find metered street parking right in front of the restaurant, however, it was Monday afternoon. As far as cleanliness, it didn't smell very fresh when I walked in but the tables, floors and cushions looked clean. The chairs did look like they needed a good scrub!

A real gem of a restaurant. I have been here on numerous occasions with parties of various sizes…read moreand it has yet to disappoint. It is great to have a place that serves upscale food but isn't stuffy and pretentious. Service is always friendly and efficient. I love that they have a rotating seasonal menu. It is on the higher end price wise, but you get what you pay for. And that means nice portions, quality ingredients and excellent taste. If you are looking for a place for a great date night or a special occasion, this is a perfect place.

Got a Pinot noir wine and waters Starter=soup of the day: tomato w/ chickpea and chorizo- bold tomato flavor and lots of arugula in it. Not so much chorio but flavor was very good, not overly salty. 10/10 After the soup we put our nit-picking goggles on as we knew this was a pretty sophisticated meal. Daily special- pan seared mahi mahi with asparagus fennel kohlabi and arugula salad citrus buerre Blanc. Light citrus flavor is found thru the mahi mahi, its sauce and the salad. Very congruent. Asparagus was a neutral addition. Not flowing with or against the mahi. Fish was cooked well. Just lots of raw red onion on the salad was a little overpowering. 7/10 Red wine braised short rib- didn't ask how well done, so seems chefs choice. We have a preference towards med rare. This was cooked well done making it a tad tough-stringy. Mashed potatoes with some larger pieces of potato, but very neutral plain flavor, great with the beef sauce. Carrots cooked well, just neutral, natural flavor. Overall a very classic flavor combo that works.7/10. Would stop by again to try more dishes. Ps- when paying we noticed final bill to sign was more than first bill at table. When we asked why the difference we were told it's the credit card fee of $3. This was really the first time I've seen this at a restaurant, yet alone at a decent place like one. Would have been best for them to tell us this upfront.

Marcy was incredible and honestly, she made the trip worth it. Her recommendations were spot on. We weren't going to order dessert but bc of her, we did and she was right! The food is priced at pretty common prices and you get a full plate. All well made and at the perfect temp. The bus boy was ON IT. He was so very polite and asked before taking things. Nothing unused sat for longer than a few minutes. I almost didn't go but I am very glad I did. I will return and I will be telling friends, family & followers to try this place. The castle aesthetic carries over to the inside. It was definitely a choice lol but it is rather lovely. Not your usual dining experience. Try this place. Edit to add: a group of five of us stopped in for the brunch buffet on Sunday. We made a reservation as the website states any party of five or more should make one. I was apprehensive due to past experiences of brunch buffets. Usually all the food tastes very similar and lacks seasoning. Not the case here. They had such a wide array of options. We had an extremely picky eater and they left full. The vibe was casual with just a touch of sophistication. Really happy we tried the buffet and will absolutely come again.
