Wow. I can't say enough about how great this place is! Not only was the wine above excellent, the service was incredible. We walked in not knowing we needed reservations for the library. Thanks to Sarah, we were able to slip in. Then our server Scotty made this experience the best one ever. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and just overall awesome. The wines are amazing here and the Almond sparkling wine is a must try! We also loved the white cab and family reserve heritage, but left with 4 bottles of wine (one of each aforementioned and one peach Bellini). This is by far, our best experience this weekend. The best winery and the best service. We sat at the outdoor seating overlooking vineyards at the library and the setting was peaceful with perfect temps and a wonderful breeze. I had the best time here last Saturday with some new found friends! Everyone that served us was just amazing, the winery itself is beautiful and relaxing, brunch and dinner here were both delicious, and it was just a lovely spot to spend the day with friends! I love love love that they have all these flavored sparkling wines. My fave was the peach bellini sparkling wine. It was really yummy, def sweet, and paired great with both our brunch and dinner. We started out our day getting brunch at the Creekside Grille. Our server Jessica was just lovely. We got our drinks in right away, and got a bottle of the limoncello and peach bellini sparkling wines. My friends liked the limoncello a lot as well, I was def a way bigger fan of the peach bellini. For brunch, we just ordered a bunch of appetizers to share, which were all delicious. We ordered the roasted pear and burrata, waygu sliders, garlic and pecorino rustic fries, and the apple brie and prosciutto flatbread. My fave was the roasted pear burrata - so light and yummy. The waygu sliders were great for our group. of three since we could each have one - they were a little spicy, but yummy. The fries were a great side filler to go with the meal. I didn't eat the flatbread myself as I get full, but both my friends really enjoyed it. After brunch, we went for a self-guided tour of the vineyards. It was so lovely outside. The weather was perfect (California winter = a lovely Spring day lol) and sunny. The vines looked like autumn - the leaves were a rich dark reddish orange color. Very picturesque. There are also a lot of great spots around for a little group selfie that they've set up around the vineyard. After our little tour, we went to the tasting room and tried the different wines. I tried most of the sparkling wines that I thought I'd like. The tasting was really awesome, and our bartender Jerrin was just lovely. It was def a busy day, but he kept our tastings coming, fully described the wine, answered all of our questions, and was just a lovely human being. Our barback Jason was also super friendly and even made some great wine recommendations for our tasting that we really loved. I really liked the brut, rose, and peach bellini personally - with peach bellini being my favorite! But it was still really fun to just try them all. Ps. apparently there's a golden retriever named brut somewhere on the vineyard, but we weren't lucky enough to see him this time around! We had originally thought we'd go home after the tasting, but then decided to just end the day there as well. So after our tasting, we put in our name for the Creekside Grille again so we could get dinner before we headed out. It was a pretty short wait for a table, and we got seated within 30 minutes of putting our name in. During that 30 minutes, we just walked around some more and took pictures. We got the cheeseboard to share, which was really yummy. At dinner, I ordered the wild boar ragu pappardelle, which was also very yummy. It was a bit heavy plus I just ate a bunch of cheese lol, so I only ate like a fourth right then and there, but def took the rest home for dinner the next day. As I wasn't driving, I ordered another bottle of the peach bellini, which was delicious. Our server Nick was super friendly as well and brought everything out very timely. He also brought me a flute when I asked for one (they had run out before but had just done dishes). We'll have to go back again very soon because the shop ended up being closed by the time we finished dinner, but luckily you can buy the peach bellini at a stater bros grocery store, which is what I ended up doing!! I am local to Temecula and enjoy Wilson Creek winery. It's very Lively compared to some of the sleepier wineries. We got there around 12:30 on a Saturday and it was pretty packed. We had a party of 9 and got very lucky to get some tables in the shade. I love the freedom they afford you to move tables around and connect them so our party can sit together. Ellington was our server and he was phenomenal. Super nice, made great recommendations, checked on us at all the right times and even brought us water without asking. This review is for their wine tours. They offer tours every Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM and 1 PM. Reservations are required! I'm not sure how popular the tours are but I was able to book a few days in advance and they were about 13-14 people total on my tour. I booked the 11 AM tour so it was pretty easy to find parking in the morning (free lot). But by the time we left in the afternoon parking was completely full and people had to wait for a spot. Keep that in mind. The tour was $40 and included 5 tastings. Motor City Mike was the BEST tour guide ever! Super informative, kind, personable, interactive, and fun. Keep him happy, Wilson Creek because he's a gem! He even gave us a live singing performance to end the tour which was a nice surprise. For the price, the tour was really cool. We got to learn the history of the Wilson family, history of the region, and history of wine making. The tour lasted about 1.5 hours. We got to go behind of scenes in a few different areas of the winery. I also appreciated how they offer a non drinker ticket for $15. Overall the price seemed like one of the cheaper tours in Temecula and also the only place I saw that offers a non drinker ticket! Would recommend for anyone visiting Temecula or Wilson Creek for the first time. read more

This is our second time coming to this winery. We absolutely enjoy coming to this winery because this place is very kid friendly and there's a lot of seating outside. The staff is fun and friendly. Haven't ordered any food from here. Maybe next time. I highly recommend coming early so you can get a nice table with the table top fire pit. read more

Although this was our favorite winery out of the three. This place has become a very commercial. They have no seats at the wine tasting bar. Watch out for the hump underneath the pavilion. The grounds and the places for photo ops are priceless. read more

It's been years since I've been to Wilson Creek Winery and I was totally overwhelmed with the amount of people in attendance and the amount of growth the property has achieved. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was a great experience. Definitely busy and parked far on a dirt lot. Walking in at the site, it was overwhelming seeing all the outdoor seating areas that accommodated ALL the people there (and there was a lot!) Our friend had to stop and sign in her pup at the outdoor entrance. A lot of families, a few kids, some pups and lots of celebrations were there and happening! Total upbeat vibe. Walking in to purchase wine tasting tickets at the register was easy. It was like walking into a store, lots of merchandise for sale. The wine tasting room was huge! So far the biggest I've seen. After purchasing our tickets we opted to sit indoors. As we were trying to find a place to settle ourselves we were warmly greeted by an employee and she led us to an open bar area. So nice! Wine list was great, lots of choices. All the wines we tasted we enjoyed. Whites, reds, rose', and a lot of various sparkling wines. A huge thank you to Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula for helping make my dad's 87th birthday extra special. A few months ago, my dad was telling me about a winery he had visited years ago that had Golden Retrievers, and he mentioned how much he would love to go back someday. The last few months have been incredibly difficult for my dad as he has watched my mom decline from dementia. So for his 87th birthday, I wanted to do everything I could to give him a day filled with happiness and some special memories. After a little research, I figured out that the winery he remembered was Wilson Creek. I called them a few weeks ago and explained the situation. They let me know that their Golden Retrievers are not always at the winery, but said they would see what they could do. One of the owners, Bill Wilson, went out of his way to bring Brut down to meet my dad. Seeing the smile on my dad's face was everything. He got to meet Brut, enjoy a beautiful afternoon, and have a birthday he won't soon forget. Thank you, Wilson Creek, Bill, and Brut, for your kindness and for going above and beyond to make my dad feel so special. It meant more to us than you'll ever know. The bar tender was really nice and recommended some places people should try out while traveling their stay in Temecula; which is very useful; especially, if anyone is traveling there for the holidays. Wilson Creek Winery is a local Temecula fave winery and seems to be the most popular one in town. This is where we have our annual dinner to finish off the summit week. This year, the food was ok. Other years have been better and there were more choices. I tried the Rosè wine. It was light and refreshing, fruity and floral. Service has always been stellar, and the venues are consistently elegant, regardless which room they host our events in. Parking is plenty. I looked through some of the reviews and it seems like they were lower ratings due to the food served at the winery. Because I did not eat here, I can only comment on the wine and winery itself. If you want a tasting flight, you have to purchase the card from the check-out desk as you can't get them from the bar area where you are being served. I really like their almond wine! We also got another fruity one (I can't remember which), but it was really good, it kind of reminded me of fruity pebbles. Even though we went on a random weekday, it was really packed, but the guy helping us was prompt, patient, and took the time to converse with us a little. The property itself is really nice. We're relatively new to the Temecula wine scene and thought this might be a good choice. We went on a Sunday, and the place was hopping. Very difficult to get a parking spot, but they send a cart to pick people up and drive you to the entrance. Our driver was friendly and shared some history and tips about the winery. You purchase your wine tickets in one spot and then get your glasses at the bar. It was busy but we found a server who was very friendly and helpful for our first taste. We purposely visited other bartenders to get other advice, but she was very much the best and most engaging/helpful. You get the wine and very little else about it. The wines themselves were ok - not the best but not the worst. We wandered outside until we could find a table. We love a good nosh while sipping, and heard there would be some options. You purchase the food in a different area. And, it felt like an amusement park or fair line - limited choices, all overpriced, and long queues. The bbq was pretty good. The charcuterie box was a joke, especially for the price. TIP: they have prepackaged cheese and meats in a fridge by the bar that was a lot less and looked a lot better. There was live music, a little craft fair, and lots of kids and festivities. We enjoyed ourselves but I think we can safely check this box as being done. read more

We visited Wilson Creek Winery on 10/11/2025 and had a wonderful time with our party of three. The intention was to visit Wilson Creek first, and then move on to one other location; however, this place was all we needed. We first bought three tasting cards, and we used them at the "back bar" indoors. The gentleman staffing the back bar was wonderful. He provided us insight when we wanted and gave us exactly what we needed. He was generous in his pours, which made the tasting price very much worth the cost. Not only that; however, the tastings here include six tastings rather than the traditional four or five. After we did the tasting, we moved outside to a table under a canopy and enjoyed a little snack and another bottle. It was such a beautiful day. We wish we could have stayed longer; however, the close the outdoor area at 5:30 (I was hoping they would at least let us stay until the 6pm closing time) Parking is plentiful and the deals are wonderful! I would definitely come to Wilson Creek again in the future. read more
