Huge grounds to explore and lots of photo ops

I really like visiting Wilson Creek. It is usually busy so prepare for that but they have so many places to sit, water misters, and I love the fact that you can walk through the fields. The only thing is the service isn't always spectacular. I'd rather get a bottle and spend time outside and not be at the bar too. We had no food but they did have an eatery on site with QR codes to order.

I love coming here. Such a chill and relaxing atmosphere. Good way to spend a lazy Sunday. Some food, wine and life music with family and friends. I will definitely be back to this winery.

Wilson Creek Winery is a popular winery that spans 90 acres in Temecula Wine Country. It was founded in 1996 and has a huge space, private residences, restaurants, and covered patios. You buy a tasting card at the counter and then you can try any six wines on their menu. Their most popular is the almond sparkling wine and they offer a variety of other flavors. We tried lots of different wines including the sauvignon blanc and petite sirah but our favorites were the different sparkling wines. It was less of a quiet wine-tasting vibe and more like a party-vibe. There were tons of people and we saw a lot of bachelorette parties. The music was loud and there was a fun social vibe. There were still some vineyards that you could walk through and take pictures, but the core of the action is where the food and drinks are. Even though it was geared toward adults I saw a lot of kids and strollers around. We spent a couple hours here drinking the different wines and relaxing at the table. It was fun to people-watch and just enjoy the experience and energy. If you are coming to Temecula Wine Country, this should be one of the places on your list to visit.

We came here on a Saturday a couple hours before closing and were expecting to be turned away from the section of the Winery that closes earlier. Upon inquiring we were pleasantly surprised and were taken to the part of the Winery we had hoped to visit. We were mindful that our time was limited and wanted to be respectful of the staff so we ordered quickly with our wonderful server Diana who was so lovely, patient, knowledgeable of wine selections and even made a recommendation for places in the area. Every member of the staff at Wilson's were so friendly, warm, helpful and accommodating. There was a larger party who were a bit loud but we inquired about moving outside and again were accommodated. Diana our server was incredible and we were very happy with our first time visit to Wilson Creek and will definitely be back.

This place is always one of my favorite stops whenever I'm in Temecula. The atmosphere and overall vibe are hard to beat and I love their sparkling wine. It's become a tradition for me to visit every time I'm in wine country and it never disappoints.

This is always our gotta-stop-here perfect break up the drive from here to there for any girls' weekend away that brings us anywhere close to Temecula. We've wine tasted before, but we know what we like and went straight for a couple bottles of White Cab. It's like sunshine in every sip! I love that they sink the bottles in a deep bucket of ice. Nothing better than a frosty pour on a warm day! Inside there's plenty of wine-thematic, seasonal items, and souvenirs for those who love useful, beautiful, or humorous gifts. Also inside the spacious building are the wine tasting and ordering bars. Friendly and knowledgeable folks are there to answer any questions and provide insight into your pour. Outside is the place for us! A beautiful day, warm sunshine, a gentle breeze in a beautiful setting? And the owner's dog!!! Yes please! We got there just a few minutes after opening, so we had our pick of the place for our desired seating. Pristine clean bathroom, immaculate grounds, plenty of parking, and easy access to the winery are all noteworthy. I will note we got here on a Friday a few minutes after opening. When we left, the place was filling up quickly! Come early if you can for maximum chillaxing. It's a great place to spend an afternoon with friends! Great conversation and before we knew it, it was time to be on our way. But rest assured, we'll be back again.

My husband and I had the best time for our birthday! the most delicious wine gets made on site and you get to try 6 ounces for $25 with the option to buy any bottle. Pricing per bottle is clearly listed on the menu so as you are trying you can decide if you want a bottle. oneAmazing way of figuring out your preferences. Just show up & they do the rest. Our host Bryan went above and beyond for our birthday. My husband and I have the same birthday on 9/10 and he made it special, it was beyond and above what we could hope for!!! so beautiful, highly recommend.

I am extremely disappointed by our recent experience at Wilson Creek Winery, particularly regarding the handling of sensitive customer information. During our visit, we spoke with a hostess named Makayla about joining the wine club. Unfortunately, the information we were initially given was inconsistent and, after having to clarify the details with our server, we discovered that several of the benefits and details presented to us were not accurate. This created enough confusion and concern that we ultimately decided not to move forward with the wine club. However, the most alarming part of our experience happened afterward. When we asked for the paperwork we had completed, which contained our full name, home address, and credit card information, Makayla was initially unable to locate it. After searching for some time, she eventually turned around and retrieved our paperwork from a regular trash can. That is completely unacceptable. Sensitive customer information, especially paperwork containing credit card and personal identifying information, should never be casually discarded in a regular trash receptacle where it could potentially be accessed by anyone. At that point, this became far more than a disappointing customer service experience, it became a serious concern regarding the handling and protection of customer data. Because of what we witnessed, we have completely lost confidence in moving forward with Wilson Creek Winery's wine club. More importantly, I believe this situation warrants immediate attention from management. I sincerely hope Wilson Creek has proper policies and procedures in place for handling sensitive customer information and that this incident was an isolated failure to follow them. I strongly encourage management to investigate this immediately, review how customer applications and payment information are collected, stored, and disposed of, and ensure employees are properly trained on the seriousness of protecting personal and financial information. I would also encourage current wine club members and recent visitors who have provided payment information on paper forms to review their account activity and monitor their credit information accordingly. We came to Wilson Creek expecting a professional and enjoyable winery experience. Instead, we left questioning whether our personal and financial information was handled securely. This is not something that should be brushed aside as a simple mistake. It deserves immediate attention and a clear response from management.

I absolutely love coming to Wilson Creek--it's easily one of my favorite wineries. It's definitely one of the more popular spots, and for good reason. They have a great selection of bubbly sparkling wines, and everything I've tried has been delicious. It's such a great place to bring family and friends to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and stroll through the vineyards. My all-time favorite is the sangria sparkling--it's a must-try! They have plenty of other options too, especially if you enjoy sparkling wines. The atmosphere is one of the best parts. It's beautiful and welcoming, though it can get pretty crowded on weekends. I personally prefer during the weekdays when it's a bit more quieter and you can really take your time enjoy everything. Overall, it's my go-to spot for great wine and a relaxing experience. Highly recommend this winery.

I was recommended the Grapeline Wine Tour from the Front Desk agent that checked me in at the Embassy Suites. I can confirm I really enjoyed the tour! The individuals that were on the tour with me made it even more fun. Our tour guide and driver, Tony, was very knowledgable about the area, its history, and wine making. Wilson Creek Winery was our first stop of the tour. The winery is very nice and well kept. We walked over to Michael and Brian at the bar. They gave us some wine to start the tour off. They also acknowledged my birthday by giving me a necklace with a cork on it. Such a sweet gesture. "Motor City Mike" is an incredible teacher. He gave us a tour around the winery, educated us about viniculture and corks, and taught us about the Wilson's history. By the end of the tour, we had tasted five different wines already. I enjoyed all their wine and will definitely be back!

$30 for 6 wine tastings. Great flow and fun to navigate the wine tasting experience. Went here while on a retreat in Temecula. It was highly recommended. The restaurant food was ok lots of flies. There was one served on our dish/food (eww). Lively grounds, saw birthday celebrations, family gatherings, girl outings and so so much more. Great and generous service. Beautiful grounds and easy to maneuver. Great time!

Came to Wilson's Creek Winery to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday and I'm so glad we chose this spot. From the moment we got there, everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I had called ahead about bringing a cake because of the heat, and they were more than accommodating. When we arrived, they kindly took it and kept it in the fridge for us, which I really appreciated with how hot it was that day. Sonia at the front was amazing. I went up to her a few times throughout our visit and she was always so sweet, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. That kind of service really stands out. Between the service, the setting, and how well everything flowed, it's easy to see why this place is always at the top when you look up wineries in Temecula. The staff really makes the experience. We had such a memorable day. She was so happy, and that meant everything to me. Cheers to 21 and to a place that made it feel extra special. Highly recommend.

They have plenty of parking and are on a beautiful property! They have so many picture spots and sitting areas to enjoy your wine. We came here as our first stop. They have the store were you buy your wine and souvenirs. They do try to keep you in there for the flight to avoid giving you too many glasses but we asked for more as we were sharing flights (we were going to have plenty of stops). This is a family friendly place with an upscale feel. They have a nice looking restaurant on property and a place for events. We went during the holidays so they have photo ops with holiday theme. The wine was tasty from their full bodied reds to their crispier lighter whites. Our biggest highlight was just the whole experience and enjoying quality time.

Is there a fee for taking engagement photos at your venue?

Engagement photos and other photo shoots are generally allowed free of charge. Schedule in advance and make a reservation before arriving.…

Are kids allowed at 2025 concerts?

It's no longer a family place. More like day clubbing!

    Is smoking allowed?

They have a designated smoking area.

I would like to know if is kid friendly and if I need to make reservations to sit at the restaurant?

Totally kid friendly! They have swing sets and other things for kids to occupy themselves. I believe walk-ins are accepted.

For wine tasting, do we have to make a reservation?

    No, just go.

Do they still have the all you can eat Sunday brunch? It's been a while since I have been but I remember I loved it there for this.

Unfortunately, post-covid they don't. Now, they just have breakfast specials on Sunday.

Hi. May I bring a picnic and Buy wine?

I don't believe that outside food or drinks are allowed. They have food available for purchase (charcuterie type things) and there are plenty of tables outside to enjoy it.…

Can you walk around with your tastings/take them to the courtyard and sit?

Do the outdoor areas have misters for hot weather?

I was there a couple of weeks ago and did not see misters in the outdoor restaurant but it was a mild and breeze afternoon

First and foremost, I will NEVER be visiting this winery EVER again. To anyone that reads this…read morereview, YOU ARE WARNED you will be subjected to the worst experience and customer service that you will probably have to ever endure. My Wife and I are appalled over what happened. To the Business Owner, Cane V., you need to train your employees, the faces of YOUR everyday business, to be more EMOTIONALLY INTUITIVE and PROFESSIONAL and have GENERAL MATURITY. Where do I start? If you are looking for a winery that has an unprofessional, rowdy brewery atmosphere that attracts Entitled Stank Faced Boomer Temecula Wine Moms and their Snobby Little Cliques LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Our Experience: my Wife and I came over to sample some wines from this winery that was recommended from a friend. On the Winery Website, you can do 2 different types of wine tastings: Classic Tastings of 6 wines of your choice or a Private Wine Tasting of 8 different ones for a higher price. This is what initially attracted my Wife and I to this winery in the first place (big mistake on our end). Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that wine tasting is no longer being offered at all. The incompetent red haired bartender at the front entrance provided us with no other alternative other than "Yea we don't offer that anymore, you can do by the glass or by the bottle." Her tone changed completely when I asked her about the Club they advertise everywhere. She then tells us that they are booked for the day, however the BAR and LAWN area are open seating, after 8PM everything is open seating. It was 6:30/7PM so we decided by that point, we'll wait for a spot to open up and enjoy some wine then in the meantime. We figured, it's just the 2 of us so we should have luck finding a spot. At the bar area, I noticed that 3 seats were left unattended. The people there got up and left, no drinks were left behind or any "Reservation" placards were placed to notify people. I walk over, sit down and wave to my Wife to come and sit at the bar area. We sat down, sipped some of our wine for 10-15 minutes. Bar had 2 people working, a gentleman and heavier set Blonde lady. Both of them never said anything and nothing was ever exchanged between us and the heavier set Blond lady. I was even thinking about buying a beer or cocktail and thankfully I didn't. Shortly after this time, an EXTREMELY RUDE, ENTITLED, and VISIBLY DRUNK lady and her husband RUDLY went in between my Wife and I and COMMANDED we leave her spots. My Wife and I laughed at her and were genuinely confused because the BAR IS OPEN SEATING, THERE ARE NO RESERVATIONS FOR OPEN SEATING. She then gets even more angry and DEMANDS we leave or else, says to my Wife and I "YOU're GOING TO LEAVE NOW," I tell the lady to kick rocks, it's open seating then she enters the bar area to talk to the heavier set Blond bar tender that we wont move. The Blond bar tender THEN has the AUDACITY to tell us "They have been sitting here all night, YOU TWO need to leave immediately." My Wife and I look at each other and absolutely laugh it off at the sheer absurdity of everyone's tone towards us. Who do you think you are to blatantly kick us out ON OPEN SEATING? Either you are severely undertrained from the Owner or you as a staff member play favorites with other entitled customers. Both of which are absolutely absurd. Upon this interaction, my Wife and I leave and go right down the street to Europa Winery and sampled several wines and had a $250 dinner at Bolero. Here, the experience was a complete 180° and we should've never wasted our time at Miramonte Winery being subjected to the nastiness from the Temecula Trash. If you are a large party, or wanting to host private events, I STRONGLY recommend ANYWHERE else besides Miramonte Winery. The Staff here is atrocious, rude, immature and ugly. I pride myself in never leaving nasty reviews but this experience changed everything moving forward.

We had such a wonderful time at Lorimar, and I'm so grateful we got to meet Lou along the way! Thank you for making us feel so welcomed and making our visit even more memorable. We'll definitely be back!

The winery was packed and the parking lot was full so we had to circle back and park on the road just outside of the winery which isn't too far of a walk. We came here on a Saturday and there was a live band that played rock songs and they were great and entertaining! There were lots of people dancing and having a good time. This review is solely based on the food and restaurant since I didn't have any wine since I was the designated driver. Their restaurant has a large shaded patio area for dining. Luckily my friend made a reservation because it was packed and she said she made it way in advance. We actually had more people join us and we tried to ask if we could also have the table next to us, but unfortunately they had full reservations. However, one of the servers was able to put another table at the end with extra chairs which was perfect. All of the staff provided excellent customer service and our server was on top of everything! We had a large group and she made sure to get us everything we needed and made sure to refill our water carafes since it was hot out. Not only was their service fantastic, but their food was also delicious! I ordered the mango habanero wings which were sweet and not too spicy, as well as their cajun fries. The fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned. My friends ordered pizzas and salads and they enjoyed their food as well. I will definitely come back here for the food and also try their wine!

The line dancing was beginner-friendly, so even if you've never done it before, you'll catch on pretty quickly. Also... the little golf cart shuttle that takes you back to the parking lot afterward? In terms of food, you can order off the main menu or the Friday night BBQ menu. To be completely honest, the prices are a rip off for what I ordered. $21 for two small brisket sliders and a spoonful of Mac n cheese. On top of that, it was only one small slice of brisket on each slider and one of them was half-fat. We reserved a table and were told that I was held for us the whole night, and the host knew we were planning on going back and forth between the dance floor. However, even though we put our food boxes under the reserved sign, the table was cleaned up and there were people at our table after only 2 dances. I'm not sure how a whole group is supposed to go have fun when there has to be a table monitor. I loved that there were lessons for the line dancing and free water available.

There were Adirondack chairs outside, cornhole, etc. It was such a welcoming place. There were food trucks from which to purchase Mexican food etc. out in the parking lot. After Covid, they expanded which is great. The comfy Adirondack chairs turned into metal tables and chairs. The space feels much more crammed. It does not feel so relaxed anymore. And as for the employees, snarky comments should never be tolerated. My daughter-in-law had her mother's retirement party at this establishment. Initially, the woman she talked to on the phone was not very helpful or welcoming. Some other gentleman was VERY helpful and gave the impression that this party was welcome here. On the night of the event, 15 people actually showed up. We had three tables inside. There was one party of 4 in the back corner. The place was empty. There were a few people outside enjoying the live music. The music was great. Anyway, we brought some of our Somerset wines from home but also ordered beers, pizza and champagne. It's not like we were merely using their facility with no benefit to them. A couple came in and used another inside table. Again, there was still open seating inside. We weren't loud. We were respectful. We spent money. When it came time to cut the cake, we asked to borrow a knife. The female employee's comment was, "We can't lend you a knife. This is why we tell people to bring cupcakes" in a very condescending and rude tone. There was absolutely no excuse for that demeanor. She should have been kind. And as a side note, any time someone from our party walked up to the tasting counter, the employees didn't acknowledge them. A male and female were talking to each other and told us we needed to wait. What kind of customer service is that?? I've read through many of the comments and it sounds like bridal parties and bachelor parties are perfectly acceptable. And we all know how rowdy they can get. But our quiet retirement party did not feel welcomed. Go to Peltzer if you're in the area. Great vibe! Very chill! Amazing Sangrias and slushies.

The meal opened with a complimentary amuse-bouche: thick cucumber slices topped with a vegetable "succotash," feta, balsamic glaze, and an assertive seasoning. It was visually pleasant but confused on the palate. The feta and balsamic dominated the first impression, only to give way to an indistinct seasoning that overwhelmed the delicate vegetables. Rather than awakening the palate, the bite exhausted it. The $22 scallop crudo was the most significant technical failure of the meal. The citrus-marinated scallops had become remarkably tough and chewy--closer to bubblegum than the tender, clean texture one expects from crudo. The accompanying passion fruit reduction was the strongest flavor on the plate, but it was extraordinarily thick and rich, resembling a fruit curd or concentrated dessert base. I remarked at the table that cream could be added, the mixture churned, and it could be served quite successfully as passion fruit ice cream. That may have made an excellent dessert; beneath scallops, however, it was heavy and misplaced. The remaining components, including the cucumber, offered little seasoning or balance. The black mussels were described as being served with tomato, red curry, coconut, and white wine broth. What arrived was primarily a tomato-based preparation with only a vague suggestion of curry in the background. The aromatic complexity expected from Thai red curry--particularly the warmth and fragrance of ingredients such as galangal--was absent. The result tasted less like red curry and more like a mussel-only interpretation of cioppino. Curiously, the highlight of the meal was the complimentary bread and scallion dip: simple, cohesive, and more satisfying than either of the dishes we ordered. The manager ultimately apologized, telling us, "It's my restaurant, it's my fault." I respected his willingness to take ownership. More revealingly, however, he assured us that the menu is already being revamped toward a more traditional Italian concept. That forthcoming change became the defining detail of the experience. It suggests management is aware that the existing menu--currently moving among Italian, Thai, Moroccan, Californian, and other influences without a convincing culinary through-line--is not working. But guests are paying for the menu being served today, not the more focused restaurant being promised for the future. If the shortcomings are already recognized internally, dishes with clear problems in conception and execution should not continue leaving the kitchen unchanged. The setting has considerable potential, and the manager's accountability was appreciated. Unfortunately, the food itself was disjointed, inconsistently executed, and disappointing. We will return, but I would wait for the announced menu overhaul before considering the WHEN.
