You will never, ever feel like they're rushing or dismissive of your animal's needs. They really get to know everyone personally. Every time one of my animals has passed away, they've cried with me. I work a lot and they're always willing to work with me. I've had my dogsitter and/or friends drop off and pick up animals for me, I've paid over the phone, etc., because they're there for the animals and they don't care how I have to get them there. The staff is so helpful that even if I'm there for one animal, they'll see that I'm about to run out of meds for another animal and have the refill ready to go. One of the things that distinguishes Dr. Nashe from other vets is his use of tried-and-true methods rather than immediately recommending new!exciting!expensive! solutions. He's extremely knowledgeable and won't push you for some fancy treatment course if a simple "give her one vitamin e a day" will do. I have also boarded my dogs there several times and they take excellent care of them. They've also done exams for my dogs during boarding as requested (e.g. I dropped off a dog to be boarded who has chronic ear infections, and since the vet was no longer there when I dropped her off, they did the exam the next day without me and called to let me know what they found). (You still have to pay for the exam.) I trust them to give all medications and attend to details such as which dogs can/can't be trusted with blankets in the kennel. I've called many times at the last minute and they've found space. I found Dr. Nashe because I had taken a dog to Dr. Vargoshe many years ago and enjoyed his old-fashioned methods, but he was on vacation when I needed a new dog vet and his office referred me to Dr. Nashe and I'm so, so happy.

Instead they push radioative idoine injection and tout it as the gold standard. Vets today do not operate. You need a specialist... Not with Dr. Robb. He has done over 900 of these. I chose surgery. No issues whatsoever. Coco is so much better. I would highly recommend Dr. Robb.

When I…read morequestioned some of them (because I have already experienced at one other provider not too many yrs ago - the excessive testing to just drum up $'s); she told me one of them would be $0 additional charge - so I agreed. Well that wasn't the case when I walked out to pay - $875.00 for a check up! $100.00+ was added for that "no charge" extra test. I was shell shocked. Conclusion: I didn't feel I got bad service - I just felt I was pushed for extra tests, extra prescriptions that he didn't show he needed and of course I was shell shocked at the whole standard panel of tests Plus getting charged for that $0 test I got pushed to get. The girl at the front desk did not care that the doctor said it was no additional charge -s he simply said I had to say it. While I didn't feel I got bad care - just VERY expensive, very possibly unnecessary care. Right after this visit - wanting to buy more prescription food (Cats Corner was out), He took a swab of my cat's ear - looked at it under the microscope and said there is no infection or bacteria that he could see - so he too was puzzled why Dr. Ball would have prescribed antibiotics. Prescribing unnecessary antibiotics is not good for the cat and of course leads to other problems (UTI's etc.) Not to mention over prescribing antibiotics leads to microbes becoming disease resistant. I specifically wanted a vet that specializes in feline veterinary medicine. I had driven by Cat's Corner plenty of times in the past which led me to look into Dr. Ball and her team. After my visit, all I can say is I wish I had Dr. Ball as Bear's vet sooner. Bear was handled with the utmost care and treated as if he were their own cat. Dr. Ball and Vet Tech Patricia were impressionably knowledgeable and exceedingly compassionate. Cat's Corner goes above and beyond to provide a clean and calm environment for the fur babies. The clinic was designed and operates from a cat's perspective. Details like having a small towel-lined basket for kitty to nest in for security makes a measurable difference in the severity of your cats stress intensity. Dr. Ball and Patricia took their time to thoroughly examine Bear and answer any questions I had. To not feel rushed in and out of the clinic was so refreshing. As someone who is absolutely obsessed with their cat and wants to understand every little thing going on with him, I appreciated the patient education being provided to me without having to ask, both verbally and followed up in writing via email. In addition, as someone who has a chronic illness leaving me immunocompromised, I felt safe as the clinic still enforces strict COVID precautions. This was a breath of fresh air and made me feel like my life mattered as a disabled person. I genuinely could not be more relieved to have found Dr. Ball and her team. Everything about this clinic embodies professionalism and empathy. It was disheartening to see people complain about the cost of care in prior reviews. I encourage those people to look into the costs associated with running a vet clinic, throw in all of the accreditations and continuing education this clinic has. Vet care is expensive everywhere, but in the case of Cat's Corner you get what you pay for. The standards are high here. Everyone who works there is formally trained and qualified as it relates to their role. I live on a fixed income and personally did not find the cost of Bear's visit outrageous by any means. The staff at Pet Passages was very compassionate and competent, and they made a very difficult situation much more bearable. We felt like we were treated with kindness and respect, and it was very much appreciated. We selected the "Remembrance" package, which was one step up from the lowest-priced option, and the engraved wooden box, velvet bag and various remembrances of our little friend were all very, very nice.....classy and respectful. It's also worth noting that the staff did not try to "upsell" us to a more expensive arrangement, again treating us with respect at a difficult time. We have another little but elderly friend, and when the time comes, we will certainly select Pet Passages again.

From start to finish the staff was kind, caring and extremely compassionate to my loss. Losing Fetty came just a few days after losing my father to terminal cancer...so this was extremely difficult for my family and I. They met me first thing in the morning after Fetty passed away over night and made the process of paperwork extremely easy which I appreciated because I was beside myself. I left knowing my beloved boy was in good hands with fellow animal lovers who understood the profound loss I was experiencing. Fetty came home today, just 2 days later and with his ashes I received a lovely heartfelt sympathy card along with his nose and paw prints. Thank you to Jill and all the other staff at Pet Passages for taking such wonderful care of my boy...and me during this difficult time. While I hope that no other pet owner finds themselves needing the services of Pet Passages, it's truly comforting to know that there is a wonderful business locally who can care for the final arrangements of your pets large & small. My cat Sophie is blind and they were able to give her a check up to make sure her eyes are okay. The only downfall about this place is the location. I live in Wallingford and it's an hour drive for me, but I really liked the vet we saw. I would recommend this veterinarian to everyone!
