I explained this is a mandate - item must be replaced. They again said they will not replace unless issue presents itself. I called Lincoln of Zanesville - no questions asked; requested best time to bring vehicle in. There is no cost for recalls to the Dealer. All costs roll up the the component Supplier that caused the problem. There was no reason for Bob Boyd Service to be so difficult to replace safety item. Of course they are using the truck was sold as is reason for giving me no help and feeling "really bad" about the whole thing.
