I completely understand why this restaurant is always busy and why you should always call to make a reservation on the weekend! First, Abraham was wonderful! He was so friendly and easygoing, but we knew he was putting in work! Tables inside and out and our food still came out quickly, and my water was always full! We started off with the gluten free Hong Kong lettuce wraps, and I almost smacked everyone's hands as they grabbed for another one! The antelope was so tender, not dry, and the sauce wonderfully balanced the side of slaw and savory ground antelope. Delicious! Hubby got the Green Goat Sliders, kiddo got the kid's pulled pork sandwich, and I got the gluten free Crispy Chicken Sammie on a GF bun. Everything was delicious! They undoubtedly know how to cook their meat perfectly! Sliders were very good, and my son devoured that pulled pork sandwich in minutes. The kid's sandwich was the same size as mine! The sliders looked great - just cooked so well, and the chimichurri was delicious (per my husband). While I was given the wrong sandwich, I did not care one single bit! A truly honest mistake, but if I even thought of complaining I'd hope someone would kick me right out, because everything about this meal was great! The right sandwich was so good. I love the slaw and Ruben dressing with the slightly crispy GF fried chicken patty. I like that the fried chicken wasn't heavily breaded - it kept it lighter and just enough of a crisp! I got the Greek salad as my side and WOW. I could eat that salad any day. I don't even like olives, but that salad needed them, and all of it was delicious. I loved the hummus on the bottom which was a great texture and added more substance to the salad. I could eat that salad all day every day. I don't know what feta they used, but it was soft and delightfully salty. So good. I can only imagine how good it is on their Brussel Sprouts which are also gluten free! I did snag one of my kiddo's fries which are also gluten free, and I love it when fries and crispy and brown and not overly seasoned, which these were. Tender inside and crispy outside, nice and browned and almost shoestring. Very, very good! With the great service, the lovely outdoor seating, and such delicious food, I would not hesitate driving back here to come eat again! Antelope sliders are back and WOW are they fabulous. We had both the Babbs Sliders (with blue cheese, bacon, garlic aioli) and the Green Goat Sliders (with goat cheese and green chimichurri). Everyone is aware of what the community of Kerrville has been going through. Grape Juice has been doing more than their part in the recovery and God bless them for it. That said, my wife and I and a friend went there for the first time since the flooding occurred. Grape Juice has long been one of our favorite places since moving here, but since they've "re-opened", they have added a new chef and jazzed-up their menu so now one of our favorite places is even better. From the friendly staff, the delicious food, to the cleanliness of the space and the huge selection and variety of wines this place does it right. Attention to detail goes a long way. THE WAGYU BEEF BOWL: More like a salad bowl in my opinion but so good. Tender Ponzu Marinated Beef served on top of crisp romaine lettuce with perfectly cooked brown rice, well seasoned back beans, thin slivers of red onion, lightly charred roasted corn, and sweet drop peppers served with a side of smoked jalapeño-avocado crema. This dish packs a well balanced flavor punch. That crema!!! I could eat it with chips alone, it's so good. This time, I tried a sangria mimosa. Our waiter Mark suggested it and he was right! They make their own Sangria too! The fact that my visit was exactly the same as my first time, even after three months later, shows that this place has found uniformity in its managing of business. They have great pork nachos and an amazing kick in honey chicken sandwich. It was a very nice location.

Management has gone downhill. My wife and I went here in our anniversary and they ruined our evening. We waited close to an hour for our meal and then when they finally brought the meal, my wife asked for a fork and was loudly told no. This was bizarre enough but then they said we were rude to their staff and asked us to leave. I can tell you we were very polite unless asking about the status of our food a couple of times and requesting a fork is rude. In any case, they then kicked us out. Needless to say, our anniversary was largely ruined and my wife is in tears. There are places with better food for sure in Kerrville, but no restaurant here or elsewhere for that matter has ever made my wife cry. I suggest avoiding this place like the plague. read more

We were in town for the weekend and heard great things about this restaurant. Everyone recommended the Brussel Sprouts. So we got seated and it's a really quaint, laid back restaurant slash wine bar. Of course started with a bottle of wine . Once our Brussels showed up we were ready to dive in. Wow! They had a lot of flavor. Just wish we had more of them. This is my first time at this establishment, I was surprised when they said three samples only prior to choosing a beer. Unfortunately, all my three samples were not very tasty beers. Our server apparently from New York was a bit brusque. I was not impressed with the service or the beers. I would recommend going to the basement brewery instead. read more

We went on a Friday around 1 pm. We looked around inside and since it was nice I asked the man vehind-the bar if we could sit outside. He advised it was open seating so I went outside while my husband used the restroom. The man behind the bar came outside talking with other tables and didn't stop to greet us, bring us menus or ask for a drink order. I thought this peculiar and a little rude. I walked back in and asked if they had seen us sitting on the patio? He said someone would be right out. We waited another 10 minutes and eight about the time I was going to get up and leave Miller came out to wait on us. He loves his job and is very passionate about the menu and the drinks. If he hadn't been so excited I think we would have left. We decided to order a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a glass of Merlot and the Brussel Sprout appetizer. The brussell sprouts were very good. We decided to order beers and the chupracabra and it did not disappoint. The chupracabra is pork, macaroni and cheese and spicy sweet coleslaw. Delicious!!!! I ordered a grapefruit flavored beer and my husband ordered a chocolate coffee flavored beer. Both were very tasty. We also ordered the chocolate lasagna and shared it with our new friends we had talked to while we were there. The had ordered the bread pudding and it was delicious. The ambiance and food was excellent and Miller changed our initial first impression. If you go in ask for him specifically. You won't be disappointed. So food is excellent and the varieties of wine and beer offered is great. Note to management... Don't walk by a table that doesn't have menus or drinks.
