Win Win Express [WWE]. (2.5 stars). Win Win? Maybe not 100% true but it's better than some other Chinese fast food places I've been to. On my recent stay in Ashuelot, I was desperate to find a place to eat that wasn't too far of a drive from my Airbnb. My Yelp app came to the rescue and found WWE!! It was only 2 miles away!! That's definitely appreciated when the snow blizzards are heavy and dangerous to drive in... This is one of only a handful of restaurants in the area. As far as I could see or drive to in the area, this seems to be the ONLY CHINESE RESTAURANT before Keene NH (about 30 minute drive). As far as the food is concerned, it's average. Typical Chinese fast food flare. I will say that the portions are very generous and the prices are quite affordable. I ordered the beef with snow peas. While the ingredients were all previously frozen, the snow peas and other veggies still had a satisfying "snap" to them. Service wasn't rude but definitely not inviting. You can tell this is a no-nonsense order and leave establishment... If you're ever staying in the area or driving through, check them out. There is a small dine in area with tables and chairs. The place is very cozy with an open kitchen behind the counter and a couple tables for eating in. The menu offerings include the standard Chinese dishes and items, most large dishes priced $7.55-$10.55. Win Win's Favorites priced $10.25-$14.95. 23 Luncheon Specials ($6.25-$7.95) served with pork fried rice are offered, appetizers additional $1.50-$2.00. 26 Dinner Combinations ($9.25) served with pork fried rice and appetizers are offered too. I stopped here for lunch takeout recently. I ordered the L19 Shrimp with Garlic Sauce ($6.35 plus tax) served with pork fried rice. The food was ready to go in under 10 minutes. The portion size was just right for lunch. The pork fried rice (light brown color) had a firm texture with small pieces of pork and chopped onions. The main dish had a mix of tender shrimp (cleaned), fresh vegetables (green peppers, red peppers, onions, broccoli, celery), water chestnuts, & bamboo shoots in a sweet sauce (not spicy). This was the first time we tried this place. I wasn't sure what to expect. We found the food to be excellent! The chicken wings were well cooked and flavorful. The chicken fingers and crab Rangoon's were crispy and delicious. The beef teriyaki were great and the veggie fried rice and boneless ribs were pretty good. The facility is small but clean and more of a take-out operation. I will be ordering from the Win Win again. read more

One of only a handful of restaurants in town, so I am THRILLED at how good this place is! I'm vegetarian, so I can only comment on those dishes, but my meat-eating friends and family have also enjoyed the food here. I visit almost every week, and am never disappointed. read more

Pros: I got General Tso's chicken meal. 2 stars for the chicken being really good. The egg roll was pretty good as well. Cons: The broccoli in the chicken didn't taste very fresh. The rice was soggy and had cold spots. Do yourself a favor and drive to Keene. read more

We recently moved to the area and were relieved to find a good Chinese take out place not too far. Portions are great, meat is of a good quality, and not overly sauced or fried. It is pretty standard American Chinese fare but is delicious and hits the spot. read more

3 strikes and youre out! in the last 7 years we have tried this place 3 times. Each time it had a new owner, and we had renewed hopes that it would be better. Each time we got burned food that was somehow greasy as well as burned. it tasted like the oil had not been changed in a long time. My husband will eat rocks, so when he takes one bite, pushes it away and says no thanks...thats huge! My son came to town and wanted badly to try it. We gave it one last shot. Again, burned pork fried rice, grease soaked into the cardboard container, and the taste was that of food that had been sitting. Sorry guys, I wanted badly to like you. you are close, convienent and we love chinese food. im not going back for number 4. read more

We love Win Win. Our family has been going here for years and we also always place an large order for our New Year's party. It's great Chinese food and very fast. Our favorites are Hunan Chicken (spicy), Chicken and Broccoli and steamed Pork dumplings ( there is a great sauce that comes with the dumplings). The pork fried rice if great too. Definitely stop and check them out. read more

They don't change their frying grease and it shows. The food has many black burned particles on it. Off color taste.
