From the outside, the historic De Anza building already gives the store more personality than the average health market, but the real surprise was how much they carry once you start walking through the aisles. I originally planned to look at a few supplements, then found myself browsing specialty groceries, frozen foods, teas, natural personal care products, sports nutrition, and several gluten free and vegan options. The selection feels carefully chosen, especially for people who read ingredient labels or need products that are difficult to find in regular supermarkets. The supplement area is large, so it can be slightly intimidating when you first see all the choices. Thankfully, the staff were friendly and actually willing to explain the differences between products. I appreciated that they did not make the interaction feel rushed or overly sales focused. After shopping, I had coffee with a hazelnut PROTABAR, which has become my favorite protein snack to pair with coffee. The whole hazelnuts, dates, quality egg white protein, and touch of cocoa give it a natural, earthy flavor without the artificial sweetness found in many protein bars. The hazelnut flavor works especially well with a warm cup of coffee. A few honest notes: downtown parking can take a little patience, some parts of the store feel compact, and certain specialty items are more expensive than what you might find at a conventional grocery store. I would also recommend allowing enough time to browse because this is not the easiest place to rush through. Overall, Clark's feels like a genuine Riverside institution rather than just another health food chain. I left with useful products, a few new discoveries, and a much better understanding of what I was buying. Definitely worth visiting if you care about nutrition, clean ingredients, or simply enjoy finding healthier products that are not available everywhere.

I had a "zyto scan" that is offered here & the woman who does it, Serene was kind but she also had…read moreher moments where she was unintentionally ignorant, judgmental and inconsiderate which I didn't appreciate. I had a relative with me who told her I consumed energy drinks often which was irrelevant as to why I was even there. I was getting the scan for more insight on an my unexplained chronic urinary problems that I've had for about a decade. Whether I drink energy drinks or not, my symptoms stay the same. I am well aware this is not the best health decision anyone can make but Serene looked at me as if my relative told her I was doing hard drugs or drinking alcohol daily. The reason why I consume energy drinks often is because I suffer from nocturnia due to my ongoing urinary problems & I have a very demanding life being a single mom with endless responsibilities. I feel it is very easy for someone who doesn't have to deal with a certain problem on a daily basis to judge someone else who does. She then started to blame literally anything & everything on my results on the energy drinks including my nocturnia that is 100% caused by my urinary problems NOT anything of my lifestyle decisions. This isn't accurate, there are many factors that contribute to one's health. Mind you, she didn't even know what my health problem was at the beginning of our meeting but by the end she was acting as if she had all the answers & was one to speak on my issue but she was wrong about everything. It is important not to give misinformation in a setting regarding someone's health but she felt she knew everything. In the beginning of our meet up she mentioned that the scan is not a diagnosis so she also needs to remeber she is not a doctor.

I really like being at and shopping at this Sprouts store…read more The employees*make the experience fun and warm. The store is the basic Sprouts with each department - the fresh produce, the seafood and meat, grocery aisles, bulk foods( one of my fav with the cinnamon pecans and nuts being a must do), body care and vitamins, wine and beer having really good quality products. The two areas that really stand out in this store are - The Deli - thank you to the amazing Marco*(!photo) for the best veggie sandwich! I sincerely appreciate the personal touch and your verifying all the ingredients before creating that masterpiece. The way you brought out the sandwich past the counter and your warmth- off the charts. The fresh Umi Sushi bar - quality sushi and sashimi at great prices prepared in a spotless booth with $5 specials on Wednesday. ( tomorrow ie). I have got to mention the absolutely fantastic Liz* who was working and stocking in the produce section around 4:15 pm last Sunday 11/09/25. I was not able to find the Organic Italian lemon and grapefruit sodas. Her genuine effort in checking both the cold section and the soda aisle and her amazing attitude - Sprouts Corporate Office in Chandler Az- these two superstars represent the company with excellence and class. Please give them a shout out, a nice gift card and a raise. They are the true embodiment of love, hard work and happiness. Very lucky to meet the both of them. Other huge plus's- the lovely Klatch Coffee booth inside the store, nice covered seating outside and lots of stations to get wipes. One small suggestion if I may- please add some some small pencils/pens by the forms to order sandwiches.
