We weren't bothered by other guests and barely saw anyone. The owner was very accommodating and easy to talk to. She prepared some great breakfasts that we enjoyed, notably the smoothie bowl! Since going, I've seen they have added chocolate covered strawberries and vegan charcuterie boards for add-ons which all look phenomenal and makes me want to go back again! It was a beautiful home and had interesting history as nuns convent 100 years ago. They offered a daily evening tour around the property and providing some delicuous flavored lemonade made from scratch. We were able to find a few vegan options in the area for dinners, though it was more limited, it was still enjoyable to be in a more remote and quaint town for the weekend. We hit up a drive in and explored some antique and fun shops in town. I highly recommend this all vegan B&B for a special weekend getaway!

More than 11 years ago, I received a kidney from one of the co-owners. I will always be grateful for that life-changing gift. After years of anonymity, I was encouraged to reach out and reveal who I was. Although I had reservations, I eventually did, genuinely hoping we might get to know one another. When I opened up about my life and a difficult personal situation, communication ended. I was blocked, and a restraining order was filed. To this day, I have never met my donor. I never expected a relationship or anything in return for the kidney. What hurt was being encouraged to reach out, only to feel shut out when I finally made myself vulnerable. I have nothing to hide about who I am or what I have been through. I remain deeply grateful for the gift of life, but I wish things had unfolded differently.

The floors are heated, and the woodwork detail is very nice, making it feel like a rustic cabin that is also clean and comfortable. The Red Barn Lodge is on my list of places to return to in the near future, and the nearby skiing was fantastic. The town of Rossland is small, and the locals are very friendly and easy going. My only regret is that due to my travel schedule I could only stay for one night. Next time I'll be back and I'll stay much longer.

They were gracious hosts, making us feel comfortable in our home away from home. They did an incredible job of converting a dairy barn into an absolutely beautiful B&B. I would love to have my house decorated they way they have done the B&B. Some of the things I really enjoyed - heated floors, super comfy bed, quiet house, awesome clawfoot tub for two, delicious and healthy breakfast with more food than we could eat, and a fun tour of the place before we headed out for more skiing.

The host Greg was very friendly and personable. Even one day I stayed back in the B&B since I was not feeling well, Greg was very kind and offered to stop by the store to get me anything that I may have needed. The location was great and the home itself is very warm and inviting. Every morning we had quite the choices for breakfast, which was nice since I'm kind of a picky eater. And what better way to end your stay but to have a soak in the outdoor hot tub. Overall I highly recommend this B&B for anyone who wants to escape the commercialized chain of hotels and enjoy the true meaning of a home away from home.

Joedella (sp), our host, was kind and informative. Recommend you take a box fan to put in your window in summer. There is no a/c, of course, and the rooms are hot and stuffy. All guests are provided a small oscillating fan which did help. But our neighbors brought their own box fan and had no problems at all. We loved it and will be back. Thank you!!

Obviously the Ramada is the smart choice, but it still lacks in value and originality in my opinion. All these hotels look the same and cost the same too. This is why I searched for Bed and Breakfast places this time around. I wanted to try something different. Cranberry Manor was simply awesome! We stayed in the 3rd floor Samuel Spiers suite, of the old but very well kept heritage house. This has two beds a kitchenette, a bathroom, mountain views, a table, a TV (with sufficient channels...I was able to watch WWE RAW) a sitting area. Only drawback, but not for us able bodies, is that this heritage home has no elevator. If that doesn't bug you, I'd recommend this affordable and high value B&B over any hotel any day! As the second B suggests, you get breakfast with your stay and they have a nice choice of meals to select from. Rather scoop crumby scrambled eggs from a heap? Stay at a nice hotel. I prefer my meals prepared for ME. Love this place. It has character, a great location (near downtown), charm, comfort and class. I'll be back!
