Absolutely outstanding customer service and installation experience. I went into the showroom to…read moresee about getting a piece of remnant countertop for a small kitchenette that I was building in an apartment. Gary, Scott and Travis assisted me in selecting a piece, taking the measurements and scheduling an installation date. The price for the remnant and installation was easily $400 cheaper than anyone else in the Puget Sound area. Upon installation, Edgar (the installer) went above and beyond and installed the countertop and my undermount sink at no cost, even assisted with another bathroom countertop that I had purchased from a big box store. The work was very professional, friendly and fast. A+++ in my book, especially after dealing with other contractors (during my house build) that were anything but professional, friendly and fast. I will be back Gary and Team!

I hired Granite Gallery to do an extensive remodel on my home...all new cabinets (2 bathrooms and…read morekitchen), quartz countertops, convert 1 tub/shower to a walk-in shower, and new flooring throughout. Gary (the owner) came out to take measurements and I discussed with him and showed him the damage to some of my cabinets including the upstairs bathroom vanity. When he sent me the rendering, I asked for a change to the bathroom cabinets from just cabinet doors to a door and 2 small drawers. We agreed to the change via email. When they came to do demolition, they left the upstairs vanity intact so that I had running water in a sink somewhere in my house. I planned to keep my original sinks from the bathrooms and one of the toilets but they discarded the downstairs sink and the top of the tank from the toilet that I was going to keep. I did ask that they provide new sinks because it was an error on their part but I did go buy a 2nd new toilet myself. When they installed the new cabinets downstairs (kitchen and 1 bathroom), the bathroom vanity only had the cabinet doors without the 2 small drawers I had requested. I was confused but thought it must not have been doable in such a small space since my new cabinets were NOT custom. Work continued and eventually they were wrapping things up...or so I thought. They brought the quartz countertop for the upstairs vanity but there was no new vanity yet. I called Gary and he said it wasn't included in the original order but he said he'd get that ordered. It was 3 to 4 weeks later that they were finally coming out to install the vanity, countertop, etc. as well as finally install the door/drawer pulls on all my cabinets. I work from home but was very busy in meetings that day so only checked the work after they'd left. That is when I discovered that the layout I had requested WAS possible so the upstairs vanity had the cabinet and 2 small drawers. I had paid for this project with an upfront payment of more than half the cost of the project, a mid project payment, and then a "final" payment as things were beginning to wrap up but before I realized they didn't have my final cabinet. I was then contacted to pay 1 final invoice for the upstairs vanity and the knobs/pulls...both of these items were part of my original order. I tried to stop into The Granite Gallery showroom to speak to Gary in person but he was out so one of the girls had him email me in which he attached the original rendering of the cabinets and pointed out that only 1 bathroom vanity was ordered and I agreed to it. In my response, I attached the email conversation where I agreed to a different configuration. I had also let him know that they didn't cut a hole at the base of that upstairs vanity for the heat to vent out into the bathroom. After more than a week when I hadn't heard back, I reached out again via email and received an email from his assistant informing me that Gary was out so she was receiving his emails and answering. She said that Gary had decided to write off the upstairs cabinet and to enjoy my remodelled home. I sent a response that the heat vent still needed to be addressed and I have been ignored...no response. Overall, the workmanship was good and the foreman was very helpful but the lack of decent communication and follow through on The Granite Gallery's part was horrible and now I feel like I've been blown off because they screwed up on the cabinet layout and I have it in writing. I would NOT recommend doing business with this company.

How disappointing we are with this company. One spent over an hour with front guy going over our…read morekitchen design. Never once did he say that these cabinets would not be assembled. I was ordering them not a contractor. This was a whole kitchen remodel. I get all the cabinets and they are in small boxes!!! 4600 dollars and I a supposed to do the assembly. Nope we had to return them they did. The one older gentleman in the front was saying how easy they were to put together. While thr kids In the back were saying they are a pain to put together. Then he offered to give me step by step instructions. So he gave me cabinets without instructions. So we returned them bought beautiful same white shaker cabinets assembled at home depot for less!!!! For less!!!!! Then we buy butcher block counter tops and we had to go and order another 10foot one left at the store cause we didn't have room. Went to go back a week later the suckers sold it to some other customers!!!!! The nerve they have. They told us we should have come back sooner. We have a 30 day hold! Now they can't get another one for 3 to 4 weeks! So very disappointed with this company! We have spent a lot of money at this company in windows, doors, and flooring! And this is the treatment we get!!!

We put a used exterior door at VJ's and sent it to be hung. In 2 weeks I called and they couldn't…read morefind it. Of course they don't have another and we can't match the rain glass we bought for the side window to match. Once you buy something pay for it and TAKE IT WITH YOU! I like the prices on trim, used windows, doors. Some appliances are also a deal. Found a widespread sink (not available thru HD or Lowe's) for a good amount. My biggest gripe was loosing/selling the door we had found with rain glass in it. They didn't even seem concerned. I either had to put a non matching door next to the rain glass side window or spend $1000 to get one to match. I learned my lesson- don't let it happen to you.

I highly recommend Olympic Door & Trim…read more Our 28-year-old home is now in the 21st century! Following the laminate installation, Olympic Door & Trim replaced the interior doors with 6-panel white doors, and all trim was replaced with white trim. It was a 5-day process for our 1400 square foot rambler. The 2 man team was courteous and IMMEDIATELY cleaned up as they moved from one area of the home to the next. All trim materials were cut outside of the home to reduce interior dust. Lynden doors manufactured the pre-painted doors which are a much higher quality than you will see at the box stores.

CINDY IDE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A GREAT CAREGIVER FOR HER MOM, THE LAST 10 1/2 MONTHS…read more When she had responded to my ad on CL...(never again) I desperately needed a place to stay. My add was very specific in what I was looking for and what I had to offer. Firstly, part time care (2-3 hours a day) for room and board. Anything over would be compensated either in monies, or helping with my CAR and Writers BLOG, etc....Cindy agreed to helping with my car and blog, etc, yet only did maybe $3,000 worth. Nothing else. I was basically housebound 24/7. because her mom whose in a wheel chair, was worse off than she had claimed. I couldn't 't leave the house without coming home to her mom on the floor, (1st time she was hurt pretty bad, which caused me to fear leaving, as Cindy refused to get me help, when I had asked. There were many occasions, when I was texted or called by both Cindy and her mom, to come back because of Carol's fake anxiety attacks when I would leave at night. because I wasn't there. My ad said, "NO CONTROL FREAKS" (Cindy's husband even told me she was controlling) "NO ADDICTS", her mom is an alcoholic and gambles like Cindy (whose part of a tournament) THEY CAN'T PAY ME BUT THEY CAN THROW THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AWAY EACH MONTH AT CASINOS???...I said, "Looking for SAFE people", and "I have personal boundaries that I will defend"...."I'm a giver not a taker, who is HIGHLY QUALIFIED, and highly COMPETENT." Because of this fact, as a true NARCISSIST, CINDY got jealous of me, intimidated by my skills and intelligence etc. And she never complimented me, (I'm and amazing musician and writer, etc) saying her mom  never complimented her and that she didn't want to give me a big head"??? Because of her mother's poor condition and memory issues, I basically became FULL time care for almost a year, with NO PAY, and NO DAYS. She got away with the no pay, because she made promises to fix my car, (only $2,500) it still needs $1,400 more. And pay for me to get a website done, as I'm a literary writer. And anything else I needed. She never did. She also was always trying to find some kind of fault, she couldn't so she started throwing out stupid stuff, she made up or exaggerated. The more I called her out on her BS, the more vengeful, and unreasonable she got. She also kept lying and twisting things. JUST PLAIN EVIL TO THE CORE!!!...Cindy is delusional and is never wrong...EVER! According to LABOR LAWS...The Ides are going to owe me big time. NO PAY....NO DAYS OFF is considered day SLAVE LABOR.
