We stopped going a while back because we felt we were being gouged, every single time. We couldn't believe how much they were going to charge for a repair we were going to do. So that was sad, but we've found another highly recommended place in the area that is quite consistent and very reasonable every single time. I was so sad when they began charging extra if you use a credit card. Who can pay cash for expensive repairs? The 3% charge on your bill really adds up, just for using a credit card. ($30 on $1000 repairs, for example.) it's sad, though, because they used to be better a few years back. read more

The staff here is super duper friendly and I will tell you it is the only place I will go for the state inspection sticker. I know many people in town use them for automotive repair services and from what I have gathered, they are rather fair in their pricing. read more

A prime example to why the state of NH is doing away with inspections. Brought my jeep here for an inspection and was handed an estimate of $3500+ in repairs required to pass. Just so very impressed with the customer service-- not just vehicle service ( inspection sticker)! Frankly, the vehicle part is to be expected. But a stool to sit at the reception desk? Complimentary coffee and snacks? A children's corner with crayons and their size table/ chairs? The seating includes sofa -- I imagine to give the feel of a relaxed wait as yr car is being serviced as opposed to the metal chair, ancient magazine feel when waiting feels ( for me, anyway) agony! Really honest people and fair prices. What else can you ask for? We brought a car here to fix a flat tire. After checking the tire for free, Carl let us know how much it would cost upfront and got a green light from us before starting work. The guys in this shop are fantastic! Always great conversation with them. I get my yearly auto inspection done by them. I hear many great things about any auto repair work done there, which I have not done yet, but that's because of my father, father's friend, and myself doing the repair work. They are very honest and reasonable with their part and labor estimates, which they will clearly lay out and provide with a print out copy. I will make an effort to stop in there more than my once a year visit with things I clearly cannot repair (any tire repairs, suspension, etc). read more

I have gone to Windham Mobil a handful of times because of its location and convenience. Unfortunately it continues to disappoint thus prompting this review. Recently the radiator was "incidentally found to be broken" at the time of another repair. A new radiator was placed but wasn't hooked up correctly. This caused my engine to overheat while I was driving on the highway the following morning. I had to be towed to the dealership for repair incurring additional charges. On a second occasion a cap was not screwed on properly after a routine servicing causing an oil spill in my garage. Windham Mobil was closed by the time it was noted, so I had to get someone else to fix their mistake and replace the oil. Finally, after an inspection a new sticker was not placed on my window. This may be a small error but I was subsequently pulled over by the police for an expired inspection sticker. I went back to Windham Mobil and they gave me a new sticker without issue but this again shows their lack of attention to detail. I do not think their service is trustworthy or reliable...a disappointment. read more

I have used Windham Mobile for years, approaching 18 now, and keep coming back. Doug and his crew always do an excellent job working on three separate cars and one pickup over those years. I do my own oil changes and spark plug replacements, but more involved work like surpentine belts, tranny and radiator fluid changes and the occasional real problem with a vehicle, I leave to them knowing the work will be done well and at reasonable, not cheap, but reasonable rates. Sometimes, I ask for the old parts, and when I do, they are there for me to look at and keep if I want. I have never been disappointed. I am writing this review because I need to have my tires changed over to snows for the winter, looked their number up on the internet to give them a call, came across the reviews, and figured I should throw in my two cents. read more

I am so impressed with the kindness and professionalism of all the staff and services. this store just went through a makeover and the excellent service didn't waver through these titimes. I love their new layout and the new chicken and salad counter. I never thought that I could get such fresh and tasty food from a mini market. the new owners have done great. I would like to say that there are individuals who should be mentioned. I would love to have this level of customer service from anywhere but these people are better than most 5 star restaurants just for their kindness and dedication to their customers. NEVER use this place to fix your car. A little over a year ago I had them do some exhaust work( replace a flex pipe). I was assured the part was better then what originally came with the car. The car began to make excessive noise, as it had before, and it turned out the flex pipe they replaced had completely rusted and was leaking. After speaking with someone, I was told if it was in fact the part they had replaced it would be fixed at no charge. The first person who called me attempted to convince me it was not the part that had been replaced, the leak was coming from a different part of the exhaust after where they had worked before. Once I told him i had gone under the car and saw the entire piece that had been replaced had rusted away, he said he would have to see what could be could be done and would call me back. After a few hours I received a call from another person who said there was never any question it was the flex pipe, and it could be replaced, but would take several hours to fix (at my expense). After going to pick up my car, everyone denied saying it would be fixed at no cost, and my wife and I were treated quite rudely by everyone on staff, because " He doesn't want my business, since i have only brought my car in for service one time". That is a true fact, but haven't brought it to anyone else for service either. read more
