Oh my gosh these folks are awesome. I have a very high mileage very well loved car and my airbag light came on. I took the car in, they did a free assessment to say what was wrong with it. They were super honest and told me that it could pass inspection without the fix, but that they definitely recommended fixing it for safety reasons. I gave them the go ahead, they ordered the part and my car is fixed and dashboard light free all within about 36 hours of me calling them!!! I had brought my truck in to Pro Image 3 times. Real nice guys in there, but I was not very please with the work done. One license plate light was out, so they decided to not replace the singular bulb, but put on a crappy $2 Amazon piece of junk "Sweet LED bar" and charge me $50 for it, also without asking. I'm stuck here spending another $35 for a new wiring harness they cut off which caused it to short the strip and break not even a month after they replaced it. I have given a couple thousand dollars to this shop, and just pointing out the cheapest fix that I have brought it in for they had paid very little attention to it, leaving broken wire clips allowing it to dangle and almost drag across the ground. With something like that makes me think about how much they cared when fixing a $1200 ac problem I had. Needless to say, I would look elsewhere. Definitely better shops around. read more

Mechanics are often put on the same shelf as carnies. But with the downturn in the economy carnival visits are becoming less frequent and trips to the car repair more plentiful. Mike and Scotty break the carny cast and set themselves apart as top shelf automotive mechanical experts. Within a month of moving to the Granite State three years ago I had issues with my 2001 Saab 9-5. I asked a new friend where to go and I was directed to Pro Image. Everyone at the shop impresses me with their professionalism from Christine behind the counter to Scotty on my car. Christine is on the ball with reminders on regular oil changes and asking the right questions about the issue. Scotty has been right on or under on the estimate for each job I take there. What I appreciate the most is after dropping my car off in the morning I can expect a phone call a few hours later from Scotty telling me what issues they found, how long it will take, what is the most critical, what needs to be done right away, what can wait, how much it cost, and when he expects the job to be done. When I pick the car up after the work is completed Scotty always greets me, shows me the bad parts and lets me know how the job went. I find this to be very informative, especially for someone that is not very mechanically inclined. There are numerous times where I have gone in expecting a big job (i.e. new wheel bearings) and found out it is a much simpler and easier fix. They even have a free loaner car service that has saved me numerous times. These cars are far from glamorous and no one will ever think you are compensating for something else but this is invaluable and have not seen this anywhere else. After three years, 75,000 miles, oil changes, water pumps, tires, tire rotations, struts, starters, oxygen sensor, and most recently engine mounts; I will trust no other shop with my vehicle than Pro Image. My only fear is moving out of state and even then I would consider coming back here to see these guys. read more

Great service! It's so good to find a mechanic you can trust. Took my 07 Subaru Legacy to Manchester Subaru a few weeks ago. They said I needed a new midpipe gasket for the exhaust and a new rear trailing arm bushing. Cost was going to be over $600. I didn't have them do the service and instead took it to Pro Image where my husband has been going for years. Mike checked the whole exhaust and said everything was fine, and the bushing would be good for another couple of years. And they also have loaner cars for you to use while they're working on your car. It's very hard to find a place that has this. I'll have all my service done by Pro Image. read more

I've lived in four states in the past 40 years, and my father had been in the automotive-repair business for decades. I grew up in car dealerships and know cars. This is, hands down, the best automotive-repair business that I've ever dealt with. I am relatively new to the area and recently came to Pro Image after major headaches with Meineke across town on the recommendation of a close friend who has Pro Image maintain and repair all 40+ of his businesses' commercial vehicles. These are just a few of the positives: 1. Competence My '07 Suburban had been plagued with, among other things, long-term oil leaks and repeatedly-failing catalytic converters. Pro Image eliminated both problems immediately. The former had been caused by a small part ($100 replacement) and did not need the alleged $1,200 repair claimed by my former mechanic. The latter had been caused by cheap Chinese aftermarket converters and a misfiring engine. Pro Image has eliminated these with a tune up and the installation of original manufacturer's parts. Problems gone. 2. Professionalism Mike, the owner, repeatedly has spent over 20 minutes talking with me on the phone in extreme detail about the diagnostic steps that his mechanics took, what his mechanics found, and what must be done to fix the problem. No one in my life ever has done anything like that. It's unheard of and is more akin to what I'd expect from a doctor. Further, the front-desk staff is very attentive and friendly. They respond both to e-mails and phone calls very quickly. 3. Free Loaners I do not have time to wait around for repairs, and need to use Pro Image's loaners. Warning: The loaners are far from gleaming new chariots (putting it nicely), but their use is free. Just add the gas that you've burned. So, if you like saving money, you'll appreciate these vehicles. 4. Prices I find Pro Image's prices to be very fair, and I have every confidence that Mike will try to save the client wherever possible. I trust Mike to recommend high-quality aftermarket parts when such parts are available and appropriate and to recommend original manufacturer's parts when they are not. This is a great place, and I look forward to bringing my cars to Pro Image for many years to come. read more

Recently had a snow plow mounted on my Jeep. Mike took the time to review the options and when the time came we set up an appointment to have it installed. Not only did they install the plow and all the required mounting but they also took the additional time to show me how the plow worked including attaching, plowing, and detaching. The final note of the conversation was if there are any questions call me.... That is going above and beyond. I hate to say this but let it snow, I am ready...... Definitely a place I can trust bringing my car to. I've been coming here for the last 8 or 9 years and have always been treated with respect and kept apprised regarding any concerns with my car (As a mechanical engineer, I have a little bit of insight into what goes on under the hood, but I'm still somewhat at the mercy of the state inspectors or auto shops when the "check engine" light comes on). When dealing with maintenance for my vehicle at other auto shops or especially auto dealers, I've been subjected to pressure for unnecessary Mx--most of which was overpriced, and some was even faulty or detrimental. Could not be happier with our experience here. We came to Manchester from Boston to look at a used car & were referred here by a current customer. Set up an appointment ahead of time and they knew our name when we walked in. They had plenty of space for us to wait comfortably (considering COVID) even with a few other customers & had wifi to get work done. We waited much longer than I expected but it was worth it - they were so much more thorough than I anticipated. Scotty came out and walked us through everything step by step - he was fantastic and hilarious. He used to inspect cars coming off lease so literally knew every trick to look for, it felt like we were with a forensic detective. Needless to say, we were in great hands and I felt so comfortable and confident in his assessment of the car. The price was super reasonable. In all fairness, the estimate I was given was admittedly a conservative one... better to estimate high, and come in below budget, right? Well, the work necessary to pass state inspection was to remove the aftermarket tinting from my front windows... a chore they told me was a huge pain in the butt, and would run me from $100 to (worst-case) $200. It took me less than 5 minutes to peel it off myself... I would have been furious if they had even tried to charge me for it. I was told that the state inspection takes about an hour, and requires lots of state paperwork. Really? My last inspection took me 20 minutes, and I got a tidy printout to keep in my glove box. Maybe they're being extra thorough and conscientious. They're conveniently located for me, so it's worth it for me to see if my first impressions are unnecessarily cynical. read more

Folks.... had an oil change on a BMW 525Xi at another shop close to me. Immediately when I picked up the car it was running rough. The shop told me it was just a coincidence and scheduled a time to have a tune-up. I just thought it was more than a coincidence so I called Mike A. at Pro-Image Auto. I described the problem and He told me it was he thought it was vacuum leak and hooked it up to a diagnostic computer traced it back to improperly installed oil cap. Took the oil cap off, RE-installed it and the car runs like a charm. The other shop probably would have gotten me for $500-$600 for an unnecessary repair. Mike and his techs are honest, knowledgeable, friendly and talented! The work on all my vehicles and NOW I will never go to any other repair shop for ANYTHING! Thank you Mike!! read more

This was unacceptable. I called on a Monday to have my lawnmower serviced and was told it would be done as soon as possible. They picked up the lawnmower on Thursday. The following Wednesday, I called and asked for an update. I was told that the lawnmower was done, but that they couldn't return it until they "had both the delivery truck AND the trailer at the same time". They were very eager to take my credit card payment right there and then, however. I told them that I'd have a check waiting for them at my home. The Wednesday after that, I called again, and was told that my lawnmower would finally be delivered that day, which it was, and would I like to pay with a credit card right now? That's 2 1/2 weeks from my initial phone call to get my lawnmower back. Not once did Pro Image call me. They never apologized for their late service or offered a loaner. I will never use this company again. read more

Great Service! My SNO-WAY snowplow became intermittent and finally stopped responding to my wireless remote during our last storm. Pro Image installed a new computer in my plow last year so I took it back to them. Carl is their SNO-WAY tech and within 10 minutes came out to tell me the issue wasn't with the plow but the battery connection. He asked if I'd had a new battery installed; I told him "yes, over the summer", and he said the plow electrical harness wasn't tightened securely to the battery terminal. He didn't charge me to fix it. Carl's very knowledgeable to troubleshoot it that quickly and very ethical to tell me the truth about the problem and the fix. I will happily continue to do my plow business there. read more

I recently took my girlfriends car to Pro Image for an inspection. Because I found a coupon online for $25 state inspection so I instantly made an appointment instead of going to my normal mechanic. WORST mistake ever! I waited 2 hours and 15 mins for the inspection to be done. Even though from the window I saw them park her car upfront after an hour. I asked the desk girl if it was done when I saw them park it and she told me someone would be over to speak with me shortly. After waiting almost an hour I asked again for help. Only to be told no one knew I was waiting for the car and everyone was in a meeting. Which I later found out means everyone went to lunch and forgot me in the waiting room. Finally a gentleman I believe to be named Scott came over to me with a FAILED inspection with a $800 plus work estimate. Since this was my girlfriends car I told them I would speak with her and get back to them. I dropped my girlfriends car off to her leaving her in tears because she couldn't afford an $800 and she was kinda freaking out. Later that afternoon we took her car to our normal mechanic (Darlings Tire and Auto Center) to see if he could do the work for cheaper. Come to find out NONE of the work Pro Image told us needed to be done for inspection even needed to be done. On top of everything that Pro Image broke a part of her caliper and just added that to the list of work. Darlings said what needed to be done to her caliper wasn't from normal wear. Just for safety we took her car to another mechanic just to be sure her car was safe. Even the second place (Auto Fair Ford) told us NONE of the work Pro Image told us about needed to be done. Both shops told us Pro Image probably put that $25 coupon out there so people would come in for a cheap inspection so they could get the work out of them. read more

I've been to Pro Image a number of times because they are extremely honest and truly want to do the best job they can for you. I had a minor issue with my 2009 RAV4 but also asked them to look into a strange noise. Scotty figured out the noise (a rear differential problem) and by doing some research and talking with a Toyota dealership, he found that it was under some type of warranty and the dealership will fix it for free!!! Pro Image could have easily charged me the $1600-$1800 to fix the issue and I would not have known to even look for a warranty for this issue on an older vehicle with over 150k miles. Instead, Scotty figured out a no cost alternative, worked with the dealership, and sent me on my way. If that's not complete honesty, I don't know what is. This is why I will continue to use Pro Image and recommend them to anyone I know. read more

If there is one thing I do not like in a service company is the inability to meet committed dates. Lawn tractor was suppose to be picked up on Tuesday, then Thursday, then next Tuesday, then Weds. Its one thing to have a valid excuse but to not even call the client to tell them there was an issue each time is just crazy. They seemed reliable last year for the same issue with the same tractor but that having the same issue come up the following year (might not be there fault, 10 year old tractor) and having issues picking up the gear resulted in the 2 stars read more
