So Hugo did a great job initially, except the wrong threshold was ordered and installed. He placed a vinyl one that warped. Called Lowe's in December/January stating it was warping and doesn't fit. Sent Hugo out again...he said he would request they order an aluminum threshold because vinyl will warp. Didn't hear anything until March that he never ordered this....well I finally force them to order this, first part that came in was bent so I had to wait another 2 weeks for another new part. They finally get it and it's STILL THE WRONG PART!!!! Either way, this was installed, too snug of a fit and now I can't get my door open!!! Contacted Lowe's and window fits, window fits unsure when they will get this fixed so we can use our door. Poor customer service from all involved. Buyer beware, it's been almost 5 months from installation and the job is still not done!

WindowFits did installation of 2 doors through Lowe's and their quality of work was terrible. I contacted a real door installation specialist and he was able to point out all of the errors they made. They used window trim (plastic) around one door instead of wood and it will eventually warp. They used silicone instead of wood as a brace beneath the metal trim at the bottom of the same door. The door did not shut properly due to the handle latch getting stuck. They didn't put the little plastic covers around the window trim. The second door does not close smoothly and they cut the trim around the door unevenly (there is a gap) and they filled it with silicone. If you get doors installed, find a real door installation specialist - not WindowFits.

The worse service and inadequate, several attempts to fix the problem still not resolve.

Jeff, along with his helper, were very timely, very courteous, extremely professional, and thoroughly explained how our new Therma Tru Front Door install was going to be done. Once everything was installed, they were very conscientious and meticulous on the cleanup, and we couldn't be more happy with the entire experience with Jeff! I would highly recommend Window Fits for any needs that you have. We still have to paint the new white casing, around the door but, here is a photo of our new front door install!

I am writing regarding the window installation completed at my property without my permission and the subsequent $14,800+ invoice. This is formal notice that I dispute this charge in its entirety. I am the owner of the property and did not authorize, approve, or consent to any contract or work performed. The individual you interacted with at the property is my elderly father 76 yrs old, who has been diagnosed with Dimenta's disease after a fall and brain damage, he does not have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. I have power of attorney over him and am on the title of the home. He asked you to contact me multiple times and i have it in writing- Prior to installation, I personally contacted your company (Dabella) on Thursday 4/23 afternoon to verify whether any work had been scheduled at the property. I was informed by "Chastity" that there was no record of any appointment "nor had they contacted my father since 2025". Despite my call stating he is not of legal capacity to authorize any construction, your company proceeded with window and door installation the following day, Friday April 24th, 2026again without my authorization. I have voicemail and text message records confirming that: Your representatives were aware that my authorization was required from him over the last 5 months the calls were non harassing and predatory to someone of his capacity. No valid authorization was ever obtained by myself, nor did I pay a down payment of $1,000 which they led him to believe. Consistent calls were made to him in an attempt to confuse and take advantage of him This clearly demonstrates that your company proceeded with work despite knowing it had not been properly authorized. I did not receive any estimate, did not sign a contract, or legally required documentation prior to the work being performed. Additionally their workers told him I paid a deposit which I did not- Please provide copies of all documents you are relying upon, including any signed agreements, permits, and any Preliminary Notice you contend was served. I have turned you all into the BBB And contractors board - and won't stop until Immediately cease all collection efforts Confirm in writing that this invoice has been withdrawn Provide all supporting documentation for your claim Be advised that this matter raises serious concerns regarding elder financial abuse and contractor misconduct. I contacted this company who gave me a quick quote and got the job done in a timely manner…read more Installer was professional and cleaned up after himself while removing patio door and replacing. The quote was a great value and I am happy we went with them.
