This is, without question, the worst repair service I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Our business door was out of fire code compliance and needed to be repaired urgently. We hired Artem and his team - a decision we regret. 1. They repeatedly no-showed. They kept promising to come take measurements and never showed up. I had to call multiple times just to get a response. They had to come twice to take measurements, which delayed the project by weeks. 2. They brought the wrong door. When they finally came to install, the door was too large - so instead of getting the right one, they carved into our wall to force it to fit. 3. The door had no lock. For a business! When I asked why, they had no answer. They had to return the next day to install a proper lock - which, by the way, is still not adequate. This delayed the project and disrupted our business operations. 4. They left our space damaged. Floors and walls were left with significant damage after they were done. 5. They installed the wrong hinges. The door required self-closing hinges to meet NY State Fire Code - the very code issue we hired them to fix. They failed to do even that. After all of this, they demanded full payment and became hostile when we pushed back. We now have to pay additional costs to fix the mess they created. We'd ask them to correct it themselves, but we will never work with them again. read more

After much research I went with Window Repair which quoted me higher price but sales rep Eugene & tech Yuriy were so knowledgeable and professional I chose to work with them. After accepting quote I paid over $5K deposit December 2025 and have never heard back! Now when I call I'm told Eugene & Yuriy are no longer with company. Message service also lied and said I could visit the office at 244 5th Ave to speak with owner. Well, I visited today 6/3/26 only to find OFFICE DOES NOT EXIST - it's a mailroom. Last winter I used window repair to redo all the caulk on my windows on the exterior. I have many floor to ceiling windows and they were leaking air. If this was that review it would be 4 stars with me being very satisfied with the work and feeling like the price was a little high. I had a good experience overall and decided to use them again. Fast forward to Dec 2025. My french doors are still leaking air which is unrelated to the prior work, and I call them up again. I told them I'm pretty sure it's a simple caulk job and I just need them to come and make it look professional. They call me up and tell me a tall tale about gaskets and how difficult my doors are and quote me $3400 for custom gaskets. I I am not the window guy expert and chose to trust them. It sounded complicated I had no reason not to. With some hindsight they were just making up bs to inflate the price. They made a big deal about "taking a sample" and showed up eight hours late to do so only after I harassed them to find out if anyone was coming. I think it was part of the theater in retrospect. Sow is attached for anyone interested On the day of, their tech shows up and does a sloppy job caulking all my windows. They charge me $3200 for 1.5 hours of work. I don't think I've ever been this ripped off in my entire life. I've tried reaching out, only to be ignored. Anyone I tell how much I paid is floored. If we round up to two hours, that's $1700 an hour for a lousy caulk job. At this point all I can do is offer that this activity is borderline criminal and that you avoid these guys at all costs. 2 stars because my home actually is warmer. Two very efficient men came who got right to work and replaced the glass. They were professional and courteous. I hired Window Repair NYC to repair 1 screen, replace 3 screens and replace and repair 3 balances for 3 windows. They were running late for the scheduled appointment, but they kept me abreast of the time, and offered to come another day if I couldn't accommodate them. When they showed up, they got to work right away. They were extremely respectful making sure that they were taking care of everything that was supposed to be done. Also, they were very careful about cleaning up after themselves as they worked which often is an issue with repair work. I thought the work they did was very good and I would recommend them and hire them again if I have other work to be done. I did have some concern when I hired them because there were a couple of bad reviews about them, especially about their responsiveness.
