This review is not based off of one experience. I have used this company a few times. The first time I used them was a good experience. However, I have had issues with them ever since, not due to the installers (they are always great). I have had issue after issue with the sales team. They are dishonest and always making errors. This company needs a better sales team quick. Can't get ahold of management when you wish to speak to them. Save yourself from headaches and frustration. Get windows from the other companies, even if they cost more, you won't be sorry. read more

Working with Window World was a nightmare from start to finish. A 1-2 day install turned into a 2-3 month process. We had 13 windows installed. 4 of them were so poorly measured that they had to be reordered. One of the subcontractors also said one of them was damaged beyond repair. The first subcontractor we worked with caused so much damage to our interior trim that WW agreed to replace all of it. A second subcontractor eventually came out and adjusting and installed replacement windows. Unfortunately after the first subcontractors were removed from our project, we heard nothing from WW for several weeks. After emailing corporate, they finally got back to me and had someone out to replace the trim the following week. Needless to say the quality of work done was extremely poor as seen in the pictures. We also found substantial amount of scratching and gouging to our windows, also seen in the pictures. After a subcontractor came out to address a drafty window, we were assured Window World would reach out to us to address the trim. Several days later and no contact from WW. I deeply regret paying off our remaining balance before I discovered the issues we have. I have been more than understanding and patient only to be taken advantage of. I strongly suggest you use another company for your home Improvement needs. read more

I had my windows installed in March. The new door was supposed to be installed that day as well but the door was broken. Window World has been out three times and all three times have not provided a door that does not leak air and does not have any type of support for the threshold. I've called repeatedly to see if someone can come out and fix it but I continue to be told I am on the priority list for the problem to be fixed. I have been patient and as the weather is getting colder I am getting frustrated with looking at a towel to try to keep cold air from coming into our home. read more

I purchased a home last February who had installed window world windows the previous summer. I was told of the lifetime warranty provided. One of the windows during a recent rain storms started dripping from a screw on the exterior side of the window. I called window world to have someone come and investigate this. I was told I should have called and transferred the warranty within 30 days of purchase. I was not aware of this so therefore I have no warranty on the windows. I am unclear why the warranty is not on the property address versus the home owner name. It's not like I can take the windows out and move them somewhere else. I know the home repair warranties that people purchase annually is on the location versus the persons name. I think window world should consider this as a go forward warranty for their product so that we don't feel ripped off by the company. read more

At first I was a little apprehensive about Window World products and installation; but after going to the show room and seeing the patio door on display I was convinced this was the best product and buy for me. One of the doors were not up to the installer standards. The installer called his supervisor and within the hour a new door was at my house and installed. Other than that little hiccup the installation went perfectly. I can not say enough good things about Window World of Lenexa. I made the correct choice by going with them. We hired these people to replace our windows and two of our doors. They first red flag should have been when they were talking about how they were not going to be able to install a certain window, as soon as they saw it was up high. By the time they finished the rest, they told me they were not going to be able to put in the window that they were talking about earlier. They put in our picture windows crooked, and they broke one of the moldings around the window. Not to mention the man leading the group was extremely rude. After researching and talking with many window replacement companies, we went with Window World. So glad we did! They completed the job in ONE day - 19 windows. All cleaned up when they left and great windows! Our house stays cooler, we don't hear outside noises anymore and they look beautiful. They were also the most reasonably priced by FAR! The windows are what we expected. Installation date was farther out than expected, but okay ... then installation crew came without all the trim they needed. promised to come back in 3-4 days. A month later it was still incomplete. Called WW customer service to follow up and they were clueless it was incomplete. The soonest they could get anyone here was two more weeks out. I ft misled and neglected on multiple occasions. Very unsatisfied customer considering how much WW gushes about their responsive customer service. read more

Terrible! They put windows in 6 years ago for us in the dead of winter. One of the crew members put a huge dent in our wall ramming a window into it, the house was cold and took two days to warm up. 6 yrs later we have had seals break, called to get someone to come out to measure to re order the sash, only to have them take 3 mths to get in two bottom sashes, then when they were brought out the salesperson dropped them off and left, had to call and get an installer out. He tried to put the sashes in and they didnt fit right, so now three trips later they are ordering me two new windows. I have to take time off work each time they come out to my house. This has been a nightmare dealing with WW! Very disappointing. read more

We just had 10 windows replaced by Window World and had a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Our initial consultation with Dion, during the evening, was great with a time that met our busy schedules. By the way, we had another consult with another company as well. We chose Window World. Windows were ordered and arrived within the expected timeframe. Installation was promptly scheduled and occurred within a week. Installers (Nate & crew) arrived on time and worked to install all 10 windows within 5 hours. Main complaint is they don't use a sheet metal brake when wrapping outside wood trim around windows. As a result, the aluminum warps and deforms with temperature changes. If they used a brake, the metal would be strengthened and wouldn't warp. read more
