We put a call out on Yelp for someone to fix an old 1950's sliding door that no longer slid. I received a message from Max at Windows Avenue within a few minutes, with what seemed like a very good price. I expected he'd want to come out in a few days, as it was Sunday, but he came out within a few hours. He identified the problem with our rollers, and as they're an old 1950's version he didn't have them immediately available. We accidentally broke a front window on our rental late afternoon on a Sunday, and they were able to come out within 2 hours. After realizing it was a front window, he let us know that it would need to be tempered glass and it would take a few days to get it. He kept with his original quote, even though it was more expensive. He provided us temporary repair material at no cost, and got rid of all the broken glass for us as well. We had it all fixed fast! Max, owner of windows avenue, did an excellent job replacing the rollers on our sliding glass door. Slider is 6 feet wide, very heavy and over 50 years old. It was hard to open and close. After Max changed the rollers you could open it with one finger and it would slide on its own once you quit pushing it. Replacing rollers required quit a bit of disassembly and know how. I checked 3 other guys and he was the most reasonably priced. I had an excellent experience and recommend him highly. I will recommend him to family and friends. read more

I requested a quote via Yelp! along with a few other businesses to obtain a few different quotes, and Max was quick to return my call. While others that I called didn't seem to prioritize a quick response for the needed work, Windows Avenue did the opposite. They weren't able to come out the same day due to a packed schedule on their part, but came out the next day to measure. I called two window repair companies before calling Windows Ave. The first company said they needed two people to repair the window and they referred me to the the second company who quoted me a ridiculous price. I am very pleased to have used Windows Avenue to replace my back patio sliding door and both windows for my bathrooms. The issue was complicated due to peculiar standards from the 1960s making the sizing of the door/window gaps a challenge to match with existing options. Additionally, we had an big issue with the rooms being hot in summer, and cold in the winter (air draft). Max and his team did a phenomenal job with the replacements, and we immediate felt the difference afterwards with the remarkably improved climate (we went with the Anlin window and slider door options, using Quadra Therm for the door). The difference was amazing. The seal Max was able to achieve with his installation kept the climate right with the house. I did not expect it, but the noise level from outside substantially dropped as well. All this at, a price below the our competitor's bids. In retrospect, I'm glad I used some of the savings to upgrade the product as it came out much better than I hoped. I will absolutely use Windows Avenue again for future window, door, and shower stall replacement projects. read more

We have two sliding glass doors to get through to get into the back yard. They had become more and more difficult to slide over the years, even with doing what I could to keep the tracks clean. I sent Windows Avenue a Yelp message and Max responded promptly, and after normal business hours. I explained the issues of the doors thumping around in the tracks and requiring brut strength to open. He provided a written quote and we arranged for him to come out a couple of days later. Max arrived punctually and with all of the equipment he could possibly need. After looking at my doors (one being aluminum and full track which cannot have just one line of track replaced) he showed me the bends and grooves in the tracks. He advised that one of the two doors should be replaced for numerous reasons but after hearing a price, I knew it was out of range for me currently. He told me he would do what he could and if he couldn't make it better, he wouldn't charge me. He removed the doors, cleaned the tracks (woah!! An undertaking) and did his magic and life and behold, my doors slide beautifully! I've had to be cautious now because for so long they've been so difficult! Now HULK feels like she might send them into next week! Max is a super nice, funny, honest guy who did A+ work for what he quoted! He left my doors and area FAR cleaner than he found it!
