I am so glad I got hold of this business. I was dreading to replace my windows since I live in an old house. It was hard to find someone that would just replace the glass. I appreciate the other reviewers' comments and price quotes. I got an estimate within 20 minutes and was able to get next day service. Max gave me a great estimate to fix two windows 1 large and 1 small for $230. I had some screens put in as well for an extra $80 for two small windows. The screens look great. I needed pet screens since I have cats. Will be using him in the future to replace the rest so, all the windows match. He did a beautiful job. I highly recommend Max you will be pleased with his work. I would say it took a few hours to complete. Also, he responded very fast on Yelp. I will upload another picture when the screen is replaced on the bigger window. I need a new frame so it will be a few days to make. This was a separate charge from what mentioned above. Max was quick to respond to our Yelp inquiry and came to fix our sliding glass door within the same week. Unfortunately he did not have a roller that would fit our sliding door on hand so he offered either to order the part which would take a few days, or he could deep clean/condition our current rollers for about half the price. He was honest with us in informing us that he didn't know for sure our old rollers would last a very long time but he assured us that if it wasn't in a good enough condition he would not offer to do so. I have not engaged Windows Avenue to do service for my house and yet here I am writing a positive review for this business and more specifically for Max. Because of the recent storms, I have a window leak. Looking at the positive reviews, I called Windows Avenue. Since things are busy, I requested a call back and Max reached out to me. We chatted on Yelp messaging and Max asked me to send pictures. Based on the pictures he suggested reaching out to Stucco and/or roof experts to determine the source of leak. I requested him to come in for inspection. He clarified that he is trying to save me money, since there is a fee for his visit. He also went into detailed explanation with drawings (amazing!) on what the issue could be. With that explanation, I will reach out to Stucco/roof contractors. And by the way, all this while he is traveling in different time zone!! I will not think twice before reaching out to Max when I need help with my windows. Max was really easy to work with. When I requested quotes to replace a broken glass pane in my glass sliding door from 6+ places around Sacramento, he was the first person to respond...and this was on a Sunday. Plus, he quoted $270, which was the lowest price. Other places quoted $285 - $500 for the same job. When he came over, it took about 1 hr to replace the glass from 5-6pm. When I double-checked his work, the new glass pane was installed correctly, and all the gaskets for the glass pane were nicely tight and in place, so no leaks expected. He also seemed very knowledgeable. I wasn't sure if I had an aluminum or vinyl frame, so I sent him pictures and he could tell what kind right away. Amazing service! I am in the process of selling my house and was notified that one of the back slider had been shattered somehow. I called around to get estimates on cost and turnaround time and Max was the cheapest AND quickest. He quoted me $200 less and the other places kept telling me 2 weeks for repair, Max measured the next day and my window was fixed within 3 business days. Also, after measuring he said my window wasn't actually energy efficient so it was slightly less than the original quote he had given with the pictures I had sent. For someone who knows nothing about windows his honesty was much appreciated. We put a call out on Yelp for someone to fix an old 1950's sliding door that no longer slid. I received a message from Max at Windows Avenue within a few minutes, with what seemed like a very good price. I expected he'd want to come out in a few days, as it was Sunday, but he came out within a few hours. He identified the problem with our rollers, and as they're an old 1950's version he didn't have them immediately available.
