I can't speak highly enough about Max and the great work he did on my home. We had a leaky window in a downstairs bathroom that needed immediate attention. Lowes offered free estimates so we reached out to them first. The third party contractor called a week later (so much for immediate, right?) and confessed that Lowes would overcharge us on labor since the job was only one window and we'd be looking at $900-$1100. Yeah, no thanks. I looked at a few other local places that required $100+ up front just to get a tech through the door. I finally reached out to Max 30 minutes before his close time on Yelp and he was very responsive, setting up a free estimate the next day. He measured the window and quoted us almost a third of what the Lowes representative threatened to charge us and we happily agreed. He had the window custom made and installed less than a week later. He was concerned about the leak in the previous window and added caulking along the exterior where we had a small chip in the stucco. Rather than finishing up, taking his check, and heading home, he told us he'd like to hold off on finishing the inside trim until after the rain subsided to make sure everything held up. He then worked around our busy schedules (even offering to come before we went to work!) to finish the job. We've had a window downstairs that's been leaking and letting water in through into the house for over a year, with nobody having figured it out yet. I reached out to Max and within hours he got back to me, and came within the week to check it out. He did a water test for free, and while we were not able to get it repaired yet, he determined it's most likely a stucco issue. We're in contact and he'll reach back out to me with a contact he knows that may be able to provide the stucco work to get this fixed. I'm a little late making this review, but life got in the way. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who needs window repair. I had a break in on Friday night, and called on a Saturday. Max then asked me to send pictures of the damage, and provide an estimate of dimensions. He then gave me an estimate over the phone on the same day, and provided a time on Monday when he would be over. First off, the guys showed up on time. And before arriving, also sent a message letting me know when they were on the way. When they arrived, they took a look at the window, and noticed it was nailed shut. Now, I could see where some folks in that situation would say "I can't remove the window, so I can't fix this unless you want to remove the nails." Not this time. the guys didn't hesitate to take on the extra work to remove the nails in the window, and proceeded to take it off the frame. As one may imagine, a broken window can make quite the mess. But these guys were constantly cleaning up as they worked. When they were done, I had a new window, and no mess to clean up. They also honored the estimate. I felt bad, because had I known they were going to be that good, I would have taken out more cash for a tip. At this time though, I can only give a glowing endorsement. P.S. the guys aren't just professional, but they are also friendly and nice. All in all. I would highly recommend. read more

HE could have sold me brand new windows and DID NOT because I DID NOT NEED THEM. I had some problems with my patio glass doors where they seemed to be dragging and not opening as well as they should. I assumed that the rollers needed to be replaced. I asked for help on Saturday, he was on site Monday morning. When Max arrived he pointed out immediately that there may be no need to replace the rollers and that the issue might just be dirty tracks and rollers. One of the doors was dirty and the roller was in good shape still. The other door was actually damaged. Max spent at least an hour repairing the door and making sure it was level and sliding well. After all that he charged me less than what he quoted! I was so impressed with his honesty I asked him to seal my vinyl windows where I think some leaks are starting to appear. The first place I called after I broke my bedroom window rudely told me it was $350 for them to come out and board it up and that's it. I then called Max and he asked me a couple questions and told me to send him a picture. He did everything he could to squeeze me into his busy schedule WHILE working with my own work schedule, even after I told him I could take a couple hours off. This guy came to my house at 7am to measure the window and again the very next morning to fully replace it. He was very honest about pricing and even asked me if I shopped around. Honestly, I didn't need to. I knew his price for replacing that huge window was more than reasonable, and his down-to-earth and honest demeanor made me want to hire him for the job. I was tired of the ridiculously inflated prices of window retrofit and glass replacenent quotes I was getting from large installers. I found Max on Yelp and was impressed at the reviews. He quickly replied to my inquiries and came out for a free estimate. He kept me updated on his expected arrival times so I never had to guess. I accepted his quote and was impressed at the quality of service, efficiency of the installation and final results. I estimate he saved me about 45%-50% from the big installers.
