It was an easy check in, friendly staff. The bay view suits are a pretty good size and the bed was comfy! The little kitchenette was handy to have, and was stocked with the basics. Great views and so close to everything. There are many stores and restaurants close by that are easy to walk to. The only little complaint we had was that the shower water could've been hotter. But other than that, it was an amazing stay! We will definitely be coming back to stay here!!

They had a cot for each of our dogs to sleep in, treats, poop bags, and a coupon for the neighborhood pet shop. I think it says a lot about a place when they welcome dogs with such open arms. Outlook Inn is also situated near the downtown area and is walking distance from some nice shops and restaurants. This doesn't count towards this rating but Orcas island was beautiful. I highly recommend you visit and stay at Outlook Inn, especially if you have a dog.

The hot springs are my favorite part and the main reason I came back. My friends and I booked a private soak ($150 for 1.5 hours), which was well worth it. If you stay overnight, you can also do a group soak for $20. The hot springs are clothing optional, and during the group soak most people were nude. It was a bit crowded, but still fun and a memorable experience -- especially if you're open to something new. The room itself was a little cold, but thankfully it had a wood-fired stove (and one of us actually knew how to use it). Beds were comfy, and the bathrooms are a short walk away since they aren't in the rooms. Overall, such a special place -- I'd definitely come back again.

During your stay you can get complimentary passes to a couple gyms/pools in town. You either make the walk or drive to them however. I do enjoy an attached gym and pool. That was the only downside. You can also get a free pass for a yoga class! The yoga studio is two stores down and seems so fun. I would have scheduled a massage here as it was super reasonably priced for 60 or 90 minutes, but the last booking was nabbed by the time I made up my mind. Also, free bike check out if you happen to be here during nicer weather. Too cold for us. In the room you'll find quality bath amenities, free snacks and drinks, coffee maker, water kettle, teas, and a decent sized fridge. The bathroom had ample towels and nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers (simple human). There was a hair dryer (not the best) and a lighted makeup mirror. If you've forgotten something (toothbrush/paste, razor, etc) they have some convenient supplies at their front desk per the in-room info folder. The only thing you'll want to note is that our sink/mirror was outside of the shower/bathroom if that matters to you or your roomate. Very clean and appreciate that pets are not allowed here. Would definitely stay here again. Parking: Ample street parking adjacent to the hotel during our stay.

It's hard to say what I liked best about our stay at Cayou Cove, so I will list them out : ) First of all, we stayed in the Gardner's Cottage, which is the smallest of the three cottages, but it was amazingly quaint and charming with all the luxuries of home. We brought along our German Shepherd, Zoe, and the owners went out of their way to prepare for her arrival as well. There was a water bowl, dog blanket, dog towel, doggies bags, and a baggie or treats for our pup! This is wonderful place to travel to with your dog! 2. I LOVED the wood burning fireplace. The crackling of the fire, the warmth...it was amazing. We had the fire burning all day. The owners re-supplied us with wood/paper when needed. 3. The hot tub for two out back is amazingly romantic and private. The cottage is tucked away from all the others, so there is plenty of privacy. Because it was rainy the weekend we were there, we used the hot tub quite a bit, and the view was unbelievable. Additionally, there are two chairs and an outdoor fire pit for enjoyment when the weather allows. 4. The cottage is completely stocked with all the amenities of home. For example, the little kitchen has every utensil and supply you could need. Our next trip there I will bring more groceries so we can take advantage of the amazing kitchen more! Also, the bathroom feels straight out of spa. The cottage comes equipped with robes and slippers for two as well! 5. The location!!!! My fiancé, my dog, and I were out exploring most of the day! We loved walking along the beach, eating dinner in town, and relaxing together all day long! The cottage is located right on the water with beach access from each cottage. Best known as home to the Farmer's Market, this venue is actually owned by the City of Bellingham and boasts any number of events in its unique indoor/outdoor setting. Outside there are long rows of covered areas to protect vendors from sun/rain, and inside the vast, naturally lit space is flexible enough for anything from meetings to weddings to dances. There are also convenient bathrooms, and up in the SE corner of the building you will find the Depot's only permanent resident: Ralf's Bavarian Pretzels. I've spent many an hour (perhaps even several entire days) at the Depot, and I never tire of its classic Bellingham vibe. See you at the next festival!
