The phone connection was terrible due to outsourcing. I was transferred 3 times to ask one question due they can only follow a script The website didn't say they were not state side. I wouldn't have submitted an application if the information was transparent. Currently on hold to cancel the service before my effective date Alana assisted with cancellation. As of last year, I had to find a new light company because this company started to over bill me. I contacted them on many occasions , but it was to no avail. They only offered 10% refund which I rejected. I do not owe them I paid their bill in full . They sent my name to a collection for $100 which I do not owe o them. I contacted them today to have them remove the $100 which I do not owe to me , but all efforts were futile. People do now use this company thy are fraudulent. They will increase your electricity even when you are not at home and you are not using any appliances and ac or heater. They overfilled me for over three months and they sent my name to a collection agent . Do not use Trieagle energy for your electricity needs. They are horrible and customer service is a joke

If, like I…read moreassume most people, you find that to be a breach of service, then run - don't walk - away from these guys. I switched to them recently to take advantage of a promotional offer. My contract started in June. I setup autopay, but I received a disconnection notice via mail at the end of July that I had not paid. I thought that was weird, but no big deal; I figured it was a fluke, paid the bill immediately and made sure that the autopay was enabled on my account and that the billing details were correct. Well, about 9:30am this morning, my power goes off. All my neighbors still have theirs on. After waiting nearly 2 HOURS on hold with their customer service, I finally get through. They obviously outsource their customer care as there was a lot of chatter in the background that made it difficult to understand the agent. They look up my account, and sure enough, they claim my account is past due. They agreed that it seemed odd as they could also see that autopay was enabled, but they gave me some BS about it taking a couple billing cycles to go through. I also asked why I never received another disconnection notice after I manually paid the bill after the notice I received in July when the autopay failed the first time. They gave the usual line of "it's probably in your junk mail", but I confirmed that it was nowhere in my inbox. Anyway, I give the agent my credit card number to pay the bill manually (again), and now I get to be an unwilling Luddite for the next 2-4 hours while I wait for the power to turn back on. This was never an issue of money. I was happy to pay the bill, if they would just communicate that they've had an issue with the billing. I can't fix what I don't know about. At the very least, why didn't they send a final disconnection notice email today to notify me of the impending shutoff? I would have paid immediately and all this could have been avoided. This is a sorry excuse of a company, and an even worse excuse of customer service. No matter how tempting the offer might be, resist the temptation. If not, there's a good chance you'll end up like me: writing an angry review under the warm glow of candlelight from an iPhone with a failing battery. Caveat emptor.

Multiple times in the past three years, we have had Hays post our payment late or claiming we were "past due". Twice out of the last 4 months, our checks in the mail were claimed to be late!! Never in over 34 years of living in this subdivision has my water utility threatened to cut off my water supply! How hard can it be to check their mailbox, process my payment and post the credit to my account, well evidently, pretty hard? If you call and complain, they blame it on the postal service or the past holidays schedule and question your if you truly mailed their payment. It is a racket and other customers complaints verify the existence of shady practices.

Hays Utility is the utility service group that services and administers the water district usage in…read moremy area. While I've had my beefs with them previously about how they manage actual water control, this particular review is for their billing and treatment of customers. Take note, Hays Utility: this IS a big deal. Your customers DO NOT appreciate receiving a notice that states they are delinquent and will have their service cut off due to what appears to be a matter within your organization. Each month I receive a bill that is due on the 2nd of the following month. Multiple years ago I began using electronic payment methods through my bank (not through Hays Utility) to pay my bills. Every 20th day of the month prior to my bill being due I submit the bill to be paid in full; my bank will then cut a check and send it to Hays Utility (since they do not participate in EFT). Payment is then submitted by the 23rd of the month and received by the 25th of the month: a full week prior to the bill being due. I have lived at this location for over 25 years and never been late on any payment of my water bill. Open up my water bill this month to see a gargantuan bill! And in large letters: DELINQUENT. A note at the bottom reads: "Your water service is past due and is scheduled for termination." HOLY COW PATTIES! After a call to Hays Utility, here's what was determined: Apparently, a large group of electronic banking payments from multiple banks (Wells Fargo, Bank of America, amongst others) were never received. I was told "You're not alone. We're waiving the delinquency fee and your service will not be cut off." BUT -- I had to call my bank and put a stop payment on the payment check made nearly a month ago and now pay last month's bill along with this month's bill, despite the fact that last month's bill amount had already been deducted from my checking account. "No big deal." That's was Hays told me. Yeah, right! When I called Wells Fargo, they admitted this seemed "awfully suspect." Add that to the fact that I have to wait at least 5 business days for the disappeared payment to be credited back to my account. The reason for my review: If Hays Utility knew (as it was admitted to me) that this was an issue at the end of last month -- I was told it was all bank payments that came through at the end of February -- then why weren't we notified prior to our next bill? A long-standing customer that has a stellar credit record will have their water shut off when you admit there was an obvious problem with other bank payments? This does not appear to be an isolated issue -- and you should not have treated it as such. For those of you that have Hays Utility as the administrator of your MUD, watch your bill carefully. They will assume no responsibility should an error occur. Although I am grateful that they waived the erroneous late fees, I'm betting that they're just as grateful they did in order to avoid the legal fees I would have thrown at them. As it is, I'm requesting in writing that our credit history has not been affected.
