This is a place that could do so much better. I don't understand it, they used to do better. But as usual a blaring tv in the waiting room, which is ridiculous and not any sort of value add to the very full waiting room. The waits are long without any sort of comms along the way. I was referred here for an upper GI series and had a great experience. My rad tech Desiree was amazing. I was very pleased and felt much more comfortable seeing someone I identify with. She was kind, caring, professional, and very knowledgeable. The doctor Claire was also great at explaining everything and moving through my procedure swiftly and professionally. I've been here a few times and always had a great experience. I no longer live as close but decided to get my X-ray there today anyways and I'm happy I did. Very disappointed after going to this facility for over 20 years. Had an appointment scheduled for Nov 2025, had to call to rescheduled, I know by working in the medical field a script is good for a year but things changes so when I called to reschedule the appointment in Feb, I asked the receptionist about the script, she reassured me all was well. After driving all the way from downtown Buffalo to Williamsville in the pouring rain during rush hour traffic., I was told SORRY your script expired. Sorry are you kidding me after all these years. Sorry, when it was clearly your mistake. And especially with these gas prices. I Will be calling to get all my records and finding a new facility to go to. Thanks for nothing!! read more

This is probably the most-efficient and thoughtful medical practice I've ever been to. I was looking for a new place to have my mammogram and since I pass by on my way to work, I decided to give them a try. I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly so I thought that would be a good sign. It absolutely set the tone of a fantastic experience. There was plenty of free parking and I was able to get to the door pretty fast. While signing in I was expeditiously taken into triage in a private setting and was treated with respect. (You're made well aware in advance of what you need to bring). The office is clean and gorgeous! I wasn't expecting the well appointed furniture and furnishings! As I was escorted into the changing area-again beautiful, I was given instructions on how to change, what to expect and what I could bring, my technician was gracious and caring! Aside from the medical equipment, I loved the decor! My technician has 39 years of experience and you can tell she loves her career! The entire process from start to finish was only THIRTY MINUTES!!! I feel absolutely confident that I am in good hands and I'll definitely be an actual patient for many years to come. read more

I was scheduled for a low dose CT scan ordered by my doctor since I am a former smoker. I was told it had been authorized by my carrier. I have been a patient of Windsong for many years without incident or complaint. Up until today the staff has always been professional and polite. After waiting about 40 minutes, I was called to the CT suite, directed to undress and then escorted into the CT room. A few minutes later a technician? came out and loudly and I mean loudly told me I am ineligible for the test because I quit smoking more than 15 years ago. Please understand I don't mind the waste of my time. I don't mind being told I cant get the test as ordered. What I mind greatly is being loudly and sternly addressed by a stranger as if I was trying to steal a medical service. This woman, who did not introduce herself, should not be dealing with members of the public. read more

Windsong Radiology on Spindrift Drive has changed over the many years that I felt it was the place to go for my imaging referrals. The staff members that check patients in are always patient and efficient, and I've never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. But it's an entirely different attitude when the CAT scan technicians perform patient treatments. For my scan I had to fully elllevate my arms and remain very still for 15 minutes. No problem, but with my diagnosis of Sleroderma, I have muscle wasting in my arms, and significantly decreased strength. After the scan, someone said, " All done, you can get out now"I couldn't push myself out of the position at all and my hand got trapped under a bar, which strained my shoulder. I told the technician I couldn't move my arms and said, " I need help". No one responded even after saying " I can't push up, and my shoulder hurts" two more times. I could hear the tech's getting ready for the next patient, and after someone finally responded , I was able to get out. I only weigh 103 lbs., and was in pain. Still can't believe no one helped me out when I told them I couldn't push up and was in pain. No apology , just employees frantically rushing to get ready for the next patient.There were at least 3 people who could have helped me Windsong is obviously more concerned about increasing their profit than helping patients in need of help. My shoulder still hurts, and being put in that position and ignored when I needed help was very upsetting. I will not go back there. read more

I've been going to Windsong for 30+ years and have always been ok with the way I was treated. What I really liked best about the facility was the option to wait for your mammogram results instead of having them mailed to you. It was suspended one year for Covid restrictions but that was totally understandable. Imagine my disappointment when I found out at my current appointment that they no longer offer you that choice. I asked staff why it wasn't an option anymore and was told very rudely that they had no information as to the change in policy. It may not seem like a big deal but most women know that a mammogram is stressful and walking out with a clean bill of health is so relieving. I may be looking for a new imaging facility. read more

The medical care there is great but they have billed 3 mammograms incorrectly now and I have gone through very stressful processes to get the claims corrected One time they threatened in a letter to send me into collections while I was working with them and insurance to correct the claim (rep first told me to wait 7 days to see the correction, then 30 days, then 45 days, then they sent me the letter). I paid them and they didn't reimburse me for 9 months. I don't know where they outsource their billing department but the reps are extremely unhelpful and I don't think they communicate with anyone at Windsong at all. One rep gaslighted me and told me it wasn't possible I got a bill while I was looking right at the bill I received the previous day. Do not go here to save yourself the headache and stress. read more

Windsong is too aggressive. I've had horribly painful mammograms here. I only recently found out mammograms are not supposed to leave you in so much pain that you are crying. I had biopsies here that were hellish. The thyroid biopsy I had they offer NO PAIN MANAGEMENT. I was digging my nails into my arm till I bled. I went into shock afterwards because the doctor was so aggressive as he punched my throat repeatedly. Same experience with a breast biopsy. I can never return to Windsong. They continuously hurt me and ignore me when I say I'm in pain from their procedures. read more

I have been going to Windsong for years. I know they offer many radiology services but I think they are best know for mamograms. There have been changes over the years that have definitely enhanced their service. In earlier years everyone entered a giant reception/ waiting area that reminded me of a hospital emergency room or clinic where regardless of service you were all together. Big and noisy and not very comfortable. Now after stopping at the desk in the lobby (after getting your temperature checked and covid questionnaire completed) you are directed to your appropriate area for service. Once there the waiting rooms are smaller and more intimate. On my visit last week there were only 2 other patients ahead of me. Not sure if this is because of less appointments being scheduled due to covid or I just was there at a good time. Regardless, the appointment was fast and I was done in about 45 minutes total. A mammogram is never a fun visit but they make it as comfortable as possible. I was surprised to see a couple of recent negative reviews. My visit went quite well. 21-2 read more

No one honestly wants to go here. Unfortunately, I've had to be here twice. Once for a mammogram, which the receptionist completely embarrassed me. Talking about how I'm so young. Because I was still on my 20s. Then pointed out the fact that I had to get both breast examined. It was like she was lecturing me. In front of a whole office of patients. I literally cried. Not only was that the worst. But once I had, my mammogram. They had me wait in my gown. For an ultrasound. Then they had me get dressed. Then they said I needed to get undressed again. Order for them to reassess. Fast-forward to now I need an HSG I called the person on the phone was so rude before I even She cut me off and said I need to have my doctor send a script which I physically my hand. I tried to get her the information she cut me off. Needless to say, I still haven't been able to schedule the appointment. I realize that I am young. I'm now 32 years old. Never did I think of my age I would have to have these test done. Never did I think that the doctors would find anything. Then to go to a a specifically for be nicer. I really wish that there was somewhere else or someone else that I could deal with. read more

I was scheduled at the East Robinson location and received 2 reminders to be there well ahead of appt. time. My appt for a CT was for 9:30am, I arrived at 9. I was promptly checked in, everyone was pleasant, efficient and timely. However I was not happy to be called gor my exam at 9:50, a full 20 minutes after scheduled time. The tech was very kind, professional and efficient, completing the exam in a very timely manner. Overall a good experience save for extended wait time with no explanation being offered. read more

i used this group for my mammograms for years, during which there were management ups & downs. The long waits, the cattle call environment. But it was only once a year, so I persevered Thinking they were the best. After one too many "mistakes" with my appointment, I'm breaking up with Windsong & heading to greener pastures. The latest snafu involved me arriving for my scheduled appointment, being called to check in 30 minutes later only to be informed my appointment was a "mistake" and that I would need to reschedule. The office was only doing diagnostic appointment that day, so I would need to reschedule. I left in tears, brought on by 9 grueling months of cancer treatment at Roswell. I'll do my screenings at Roswell from now on, thanks. Tho I haven't been going there as long, the treatment I've gotten has been outstanding on every level. I can't imagine being turned away from an appointment at Roswell because of a scheduling error. I suppose it could happen, but it hasn't...... and it's happened twice at Windsong. Poor customer service. Made an appointment for 2 tests and the person making the appointment only scheduled one. Rude Nurses and staff. My nurse walked into the wrong room and started rattling off all my personal information to the patient in the room next to me. Had to shout out to her that she was in the wrong room. Takes days to get a copy of your disc printed as they use a third party even though the process of printing a disc takes 2 mins. read more

The wait time for this facility is ridiculous. I had an appointment at 2:15pm (I arrived at 1:50pm). I waited in the waiting room for 50 minutes before they called me back for my mammogram and waited ANOTHER 40 minutes. I had two other imaging to be done and it was the same waiting in between images. I never left the facility until 5:40pm. The front desk staff had already gone home at 4:45. I was NOT THE ONLY person who upset about the wait time. Other patients were waiting 2-2.5hours for just one imaging. Some people actually walked out after 1 hour. It is all about greedy administrators allowing double booking appointments. The entire staff is overwhelmed because of the volume of patients they need to see in one day. This is a disaster for medical errors and overlooking potential conditions. read more

I hate coming here, but I hate coming here less than other places I've been. I've had to get screened since my 20s because I'm high risk so every year is like, "is this the year?" I thought this year was the year after a scare last February. The nice thing about Windsong is they don't leave you in suspense. You can get your results the same day, and if they don't like what they see, you can get a biopsy done that same day if they can fit you in, which was my most recent experience. It was scary and miserable, but they did the best they could and things remain okay, for now. Wait times can vary, but I don't think I've ever been here longer than an hour apart from that particular day. Yes, I had to wait a few hours but the alternative is scheduling another appointment and having to wait and worry so it's worth it, and I'm glad it's an option. I generally leave my day open anyway since it's one of my least favorite days of the year. My follow up was pretty quick. How painful it is depends on where I am in my cycle. The techs themselves have been fine. read more

I have used Windsong so years from X-rays to ultrasound's,and MRI's. My last two visits were very disappointing. My X-rays were not compared to previous X-rays to ensure no majors changes have occurred. Apparently X-rays of your spine are not compared to spinal MRIs and arthritis can magically disappear but if you call and tell a manager to have the radiologist reread them and add an addendum they will add whatever you ask therm too without even reexamining the X-rays! Oh and Ultrasound Techs at windsong don't even exam the correct mass you need to have looked at. Christopher will just slather you with ultrasound gel and wave his magic wand all over your arm for a few minutes and give a paper towel to clean yourself off and send you on your way. Don't advocate for yourself because neither the ultrasound tech or radiology manager will care. No apology no value will be given to your words or concerns! I use to send everyone to windsong, and always sang their praises! No more! They lost a loyal patient and any future referrals from places I work at and have worked at. Why send someone to a place that may miss something that could be life threatening. Would you send your loved one to a place that cannot retain experienced technicians or outsourced radiologists that don't care? I surely won't ever again! When you get too big something has to suffer and at windsong it patient care. read more

Had three tests done today. Staff scheduled each one after the other. Staff was very accommodating and professional. Props to intake person, Kate technicians, Candace in MRI, Tess(a?) in thyroid ultrasound and Andrea in mammography. Almost no wait time in between MRI and Ultra; a bit of a wait at mammo but nothing unacceptable. I arrived at 1:39 as requested for a 2pm start and was driving home by 3:30. Everyone I encountered was professional and courteous. read more

I spent four hours with Windsong Radiology on Spindrift a couple days ago and everyone I encountered were friendly, patient, and took the time to explain what they were doing. The place was VERY busy, but ran efficiently. I came prepared with my Kindle and iPad, but never had a chance to settle in, because they were so quick to get me onto the next phase of my visit. Was told to arrive 15 minutes early for my appointment. Waited in the waiting room for about an half an hour before being called. Went to the dressing room then told to wait in the waiting room again. Waited another half an hour. Called to the room and was in there for about 5 minutes. Then was put in the waiting room again. Had a long walk to another waiting room where I had to wait again for another 20 minutes just to be seen for another 5 minutes. After all that, I was told they would contact me about the results. Told to check out at the reception desk only to stand there for several minutes and finally a patient in the waiting room told me that the receptionist went home. I will never go to Windsong again! Avoid. They apparently have no idea how to schedule. An hour and 20 minutes to get into the MRI. I've had probably 15 CTs and MRIs and the MAX time to actually be in the machine was probably 7 minutes. Last time here. read more

I have been to Windsong on Spindrift twice now for sonograms of my neck/thyroid. On the second visit it was also for a "fine needle aspiration". I have nothing but good to say about the facility, the staff and the doctor. Although the procedure wasn't all that pleasant the staff was awesome,! They were personable, caring and efficient, they answered all my questions concerning my procedure. When you have to go in to have something like this done this is where you want to be! I just had the worst patient care experience I have ever had at this facility. After doing my diagnostic MRI I was told I would only need to do an ultrasound if the DR spotted something. I then proceeded to wait over an hour with no one telling me anything. Finally they called me in for an ultrasound, By the time I was done I had been there fore hours and had to pick up my young son from school. I asked if I could leave and they said yes, but that they would call me with the results in an hour as well as post the report in the portal. I heard nothing for 2.5 days! This morning the radiologist call me to say that the ultrasound tech did an incomplete exam and that I would need to come back. When I acted upset and disappointed, I asked why I kept needing to repeat tests bc of tech incompetence (this has happened before). The drs answer- "Look I don't have time for a patient satisfactions survey!" Disgusting way to treat a worried patient. read more

So I had to have my first mammogram when I turned 40. I unfortunately chose Windsong. I didn't have any previous tests to compare my initial mammogram against so they made me go through a series of additional tests.... and they wanted me to follow-up in 6 months. In the meantime, I got a bill for this initial screening when supposedly these routine screening are covered. I missed my 6 month followup and came in for my yearly and "surprise" they told me I could not get my routine/yearly screening because they had to code it as a followup. I did explain that the entire issue was based on the fact that didn't have a prior image to compare it to because I had only "come of age" for the initial screening. They had me sign off that it was a follow-up to ensure that I knew that my yearly screening would not be covered. I will never go back there, as they have shown themselves to be a price gauging facility that just wants to bill either insurance or patients for things that should be covered. I have only had 2 screenings and have to pay for each one. read more
