    Miriam is a DREAM! I purchased my bridesmaids dresses with her and the entire experience from start to finish was so smooth. I loved how the shop is a boutique so you really get the one on one attention. Miriam assured me of any questions or doubts I had, and really made my appointment with the girls so enjoyable. Make sure to make an appointment!

    I had a horrible experience and very poor customer service at Soliloquy Bridal. I purchased my dress from Soliloquy in May of 2014 for my wedding in May 2015. I worked with Lindsey and when I tried on the dress I ended up buying, I was happy with the overall style of the dress but was concerned about the fit around my hip/waist area. There was a lot of bunching of the fabric and I expressed this concern to Lindsey as I was unsure I wanted to purchase. Lindsey told me that because the dress was in such a large size, the fit was not going to be perfect, but that when I purchased in my size and received alterations that the dress would "fit like a glove" and that that the bunching of the fabric that I was concerned about would not be an issue. The dress was scheduled to arrive in November 2014 but when I called in November to confirm its arrival, their sales consultant told me that they changed their policy over the summer so as not to have dresses waiting in their shop for too long before the wedding date. They said they were supposed to communicate with me that it was going to now be arriving in January but never did. Regardless, now my timeline was shortened. At my first fitting in February, I was very disappointed in the fit of the dress as the bunching of the fabric in the hip/waist area was still an issue. I expressed my concern to the tailor and she explained that the dress could not be fitted too tight to me or else I would not be able to sit. I communicated that when I bought the dress Lindsey told me that the bunching of the fabric would not be an issue. Had I known that it was not possible, I would've never purchased this dress. Miriam asked that I allow them to do alterations and then re-asses when I returned for my second fitting. I came back at the end of February to try on again and had the same issue with bunching. When I communicated that Lindsey assured it would fit in a way that was clearly not possible, Lindsey denied ever saying this and said "as the manager, I would never tell someone that a dress is going to fit in a way that it cannot". She continued to be argumentative, pretended as though she did not see the bunching, and was generally very unprofessional and rude towards me. Not the type of customer service you would expect for such an important part of your wedding that has such a high price tag. I was clearly upset as I was now 3 months away from my wedding and have a great deal of money and time invested in a dress that does not look or fit as promised. After a long back and forth, Miriam asked that I consider trying another dress and they would cover the cost of this new dress should I want to continue to work with them. I later communicated to Miriam that while I appreciated the offer, I would prefer to head in a different direction for my dress as I did not feel comfortable working with them due to the unpleasant exchange I had. How could I trust them again, especially with a timeframe that left no room for error? I asked that they refund my money for the dress so that I could afford to purchase a new one at another store. She refused to refund my money and also refused to accept responsibility or any blame for the fit of the dress (at least via email - don't want to leave a paper trail). I said I did not understand what the difference would be between them purchasing me a new dress versus refunding the money for the dress I had already purchased, as it is all money lost. She said she offered that to me "in a moment of compassion" but was still unwilling to provide me with a refund. Needless to say, I would definitely not recommend using Soliloquy Bridal as they have very poor customer service and will say anything just to make a sale or to save face. It appears that when everything with the dress turns out beautifully, they are perfectly fine to work with as shown by the many other reviews you see here. However, when something goes wrong, they are unresponsive to concerns and unwilling to accept responsibility or take accountability for their wrong-doing.

    I live overseas and flew in to visit my parents and try on dresses (because nothing beats American selection and customer service!) I called the day before and scheduled an appointment for the next day. We felt welcomed, comfortable and at ease at our intake meeting. Vanessa's pick and the first dress I tried on felt great- and I slowly started loving it more and more as I noticed the detail in the lace. I didn't want to say YEASSSS! to the first dress- so I tried on a few other options in other silhouettes. After coming back to the first dress - we added a belt and it was game over :) I was able to buy the sample so I don't have to fly back or ship it internationally (though the price was reasonable). Also got some tips on how to store it on the flight back (hanging, don't stuff it into an overhead bin!) Thank you so much, Vanessa and Miriam!

    As the Mother of the bride, i had no idea what to expect for our fist outing looking for a wedding dress for my daughter. We visited Soliloquy in March, the very first shop and the first experience for my daughter and I . I have to say that the experience we had far exceeded anything we could have wanted. The shop is set up so beautifully, and they only see one bride at a time. We had our own appointment, with Miriam (the owner ) and her staff there to give my daughter the kind of attention that she needed and wanted. From the start Miriam was so attentive, and the experience was very personal. The Maid of Honor and i sat and watched as my daughters dreams were coming true - trying on her dream dresses. The dresses are gorgeous and quite varied. I was amazed that Miriam knew exactly what my daughter wanted. We of course went in wanting one thing and by the third dress, Miriam had found exactly the dress my daughter was looking for. When my daughter noted that she wished it had little sleeves, Miriam found them, and made it happen. I still cannot believe that in one day, my daughter found her dream dress and within two hours we were drinking champagne and relaxing and looking at the bridesmaids dresses. I will add that Soliloquy carries a beautiful selection of Hailey Page bridesmaids dresses and the Maid of Honor also found a dress. I am amazed that we were able to find a beautiful dress in our price range, a veil, bridesmaids dresses, all in the same shop. The prices were what i expected to pay, but i cannot say enough about the personal attention given to the bride. We were the only ones in the shop nearly every time we visited. When the dress arrived from the designer, Miriam kindly let us bring some family members to the fitting and really and truly made it very special for us. The alterations were very good and we loved working with the seamstress who knew exactly how to make the dress fit best. My daughter had two fittings, and at each felt very special and taken care of. We are so pleased with our experiences and my daughter loved her Soliloquy gown. The wedding was two weeks ago and we are still so very happy with the dress. It was beautiful. if you want a warm, personal experience, a shop where you get attention only on you, and a beautiful selection of gowns, then I highly recommend Soliloquy Bridal . You will love working with Miriam and will end up with a dress created just for you.

    I needed a dress altered that was too tight in the sleeve openings and way too wide for my torso…read more When I picked the dress up after the alterations were complete, the dress fit perfectly on my torso but the sleeve openings were still slightly too tight. I explained and was told they would try to make a bit more room in the sleeves for me, if possible. Within 10 minutes I tried on the dress again and it felt SO much better and fit great. I really appreciate that they listened to me and made every effort for the dress fit me beautifully. Note: If you arrive on the weekend and the building is locked, just give them a call and they'll come get you! The building is an office building so the front door locks on the weekends.

I brought in one dress, two pairs of pants, and two skirts to be taken from a size 12 down to a size 00 (a huge change!), and everything turned out perfectly. He had me try everything on before and after to make sure the fit was right, which I really appreciated. When I picked up my clothes, they were all pressed and neatly packed in a garment bag -- such a nice touch! The total was $545, which he said was fair pricing. I didn't do much research or compare prices, but honestly, I felt comfortable with him and didn't want to go anywhere else. The quality and service were totally worth it. Highly recommend if you're looking for someone who really knows what they're doing and treats you with care! Note: -Apple Pay is accepted. -Covered parking located across the street from the office building.
