We always have a great experience-we love the cozy, quaint atmosphere of the tea room. We visited today for the Mother's Day Queen's Tea. I called to make a reservation 2 months in advance since they book up so quickly. In general, reservations are recommended as seating is limited, especially on weekends. When you arrive, you are presented with a prix-fix menu. On non-holidays, you usually have a choice between the soup or the salad of the day. You select your pot of tea from over 60 premium tea flavors. Today, I chose the "Paris" special tea, which had notes of vanilla, caramel, and bergamot. For the Mother's Day Queen's Tea, we had the broccoli and cheddar quiche, a pear, goat cheese, candied walnut, mixed green salad, scones, assorted mini sandwiches, and several mini desserts. Every course was fresh and excellent. The caramel scones are one of the best things I have ever eaten. They are served warm with clotted cream and lemon curd. The caramel is so goey and melts in your mouth. We brought some orange juice and prosecco to have mimosas with our tea. They have glassware in the back that you can request when making your reservation. The service is always top-notch. Holly is the best server! She is super sweet and always hardworking. At the entrance, there is a little gift shop with lots of cute vintage items, tea-themed trinkets, and some of the loose lea tea available in small bags. We love coming here and hope to be back again soon. "Paris" Tea: 5/5 Broccoli & Cheddar Quiche: 5/5 Mixed Green Salad: 5/5 Caramel Scone: 5/5 Lavender White Chocolate Scone: 4/5 Mini Sandwiches: 5/5 Mini Desserts: 5.5

I stopped in around 10:30a on a Thursday in December to read and enjoy coffee & breakfast. Every table was taken, so I asked a lone gentleman at a 4-top if I could join him, and he graciously accepted. Painstaking is the best word I can use to describe my decision-making around which holiday bevvie to try, and I settled on a peppermint mocha. Y'all, this was the quintessential holiday drink, with a perfect ratio of coffee flavor to chocolate in an actual mug - and not overly sweet. I would come back every day of December to try all of their coffee options based on that gorgeous display of caffeinated artistry. I also got the Prosciutto Avocado Toast with an egg, and it was so good, I savored it over the course of 20-30 minutes, which is a record since I usually win the award for fastest eater at the table (I grew up with brothers, it was Hunger Games in our household... I've trained for this). If only I lived closer, I would be here all the time. Top 10 fave cafes of all time!

What a delightful tea shop. One of my most authentic experiences in the US, comparable to my…read moreexperiences in tea shops in Taiwan. I actually came across this place on an Instagram post and decided to check it out. It seems that normally a tea ceremony is something we'd have to book ahead of time (and pay for, apparently) but we didn't know. So, we wandered in and the shopkeep started telling us about teas and she let me smell a green one. I asked if I could try it, she generously said yes, and that kicked off an unplanned tea ceremony. It started off with just my husband and I, but as other people came into the shop, the shopkeep invited them to join us at the table so by the end there was another couple, a woman, the shopkeep's husband and the shop's assistant hanging out together and drinking tea. We learned all about the villages where the teas came from, the differences between some of them, how old the teas are, how the shop came to be, even about the tea table we sat at. Super cool vibe, loved the coming together of strangers bonding for hours over a shared love of tea, but one that I'm not sure can be replicated because again, these tea tastings are meant to be booked ahead of time with your party, and are meant to be a paid service (though in Taiwan, tea tastings are free). We got lucky because the shop wasn't busy and people had cancelled their tea bookings due to an upcoming snow storm. I will most likely come back for more tea at some point. Even if a spontaneous tea ceremony never happens again, I count my blessings that such an experience even happened once, and would still recommend this shop to any Chinese tea lover.

Better late than never but I visited Teaberry's for my birthday celebration on April 17. We made a…read morereservation online several weeks in advance as availability can be tricky. This was our first time at their new location. We opted to not use their valet parking service and instead found free street parking not too far away. All three of us ordered the Milady's Tea which included a pot of tea, scone, an array of tea sandwiches, and a tray of desserts. I chose the Vanilla Cookie tea which was lovely and would be a redo for me. I wasn't wild about the selection of scones for the day but I enjoyed my peanut butter candied almond scone. The scones come with sides of lemon curd, preserves, and clotted cream. Even sandwiches that I was a little leery of were delicious! The "Tea Sweets" were also yummy but I was so full I ended up taking most of them home and my husband ate them on me. Teaberrys is on the pricier side of teahouses in North Jersey but the experience is always top notch!

They closed down for a bit, moved locations and finally reopened so it was a must visit for a Saturday brunch with my friend. She's raved about it to me for so long so my expectations were high. It did not disappoint. You'll walk into basically an explosion of cuteness. Little posh hats, lots of wallpaper, adorable tiny tea pots and cups. You'll want to look around and explore and you should! They have a full lunch menu, and everything looked amazing. We were aiming for a proper tea, so we did the Castle Collection and Teaberry's Sweets. Each gave us a pot of tea of our choice and an assortment of either little tea sandwiches or sweets. I didn't expect to but I left full! This was a fun way to pick, try a little of a lot of options and enjoy the tea as the main attraction. Highly recommend. It was such a nice visit and one I cannot wait to make again. From the sweet staff to adorable space and seriously impressive assortment of teas, Teaberry's did not skimp on a thing. You'll love it.
