Long overdue review! Benti (red goldendoodle) joined our family in of August 2022 and we couldn't be happier. Tom is knowledgeable, caring, and provided a loving environment for the dogs. This last past year has so much sweeter having a new puppy around. My fur baby is healthy, well-socialized, and an absolute joy. Great with kids loves to run and play all day lol! I highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a new canine companion.

I have two wonderful dogs I got from Tom two years apart. I wanted to buy two at my first visit, but Tom advised me that taking two puppies at once would make them difficult to train. He said that while I was away at work, the dogs would be deciding who would be leader of the pack, and that it would NOT be me. I really trust him for that. Tom has given me so much good advice as a new dog owner. He has spent his whole life around animals and puts much effort into best practices as a breeder. If you take the time to hear his philosophy, you will learn a lot and respect him as much as I do. This is not a puppy mill or a chain store. This is an older man on his farm trying to do right by the animals and the humans who take them home. Please do not judge him by the standards of the corporate world, this is not that kind of place. Trust the process and you will end up with just the right dog for your home.

I bought Baxter in January 2023 and could not be happier! Not only is he the sweetest puppy but when I needed help with locating a vet or had questions when Baxter wouldn't eat much I was able to text / call Tom at Windsor Oak Farm and he gave me advice on how/ what to feed him and what vets are in my area. If you are thinking about getting a puppy look no further. Tom is very knowledgeable and a very caring and responsible breeder. If I could give more stars than 5 I would. Overall it was a great experience and if I decide to get another puppy I won't go anywhere else.

We brought Milo home in Spring 2022 and he's been an incredible part of our family!! He's a mini-goldendoodle, and he's super healthy, friendly and energetic!! We love him and had a wonderful experience at Windsor and working with Tom. Milo is our first puppy, and Tom gave us so many helpful tips and recommendations for taking care of Milo. Tom was incredibly knowledgeable and generous with his time and help. Windsor takes great care of their puppies, and we feel so lucky to have Milo!! My family and I got two yorkies, Penelope and Suzy Q, from Tom a few weeks ago and the process from start to finish was great. I love the fact there is a waiting list and Tom is very communicative. (I'd worked with a few adoption agencies for about a year and a half, but it's so hard to get anyone to answer the phone or reply to an email.) But, when a puppy with Windsor Oak became available, I decided to go for it (and we ended up with two!) Upon arrival, Tom went through all of the paperwork, let us play with the puppies as long as we wanted, and even texted us the next day to make sure they were doing well. They quickly got acclimated to their new home and with our other pets, a yorkie-poo and a cat, and the vet said the puppies were in perfect health. Highly recommend!

I'm very glad and happy with my puppy that I purchased from Mr. Tom. He has a lot of knowledge of his puppies and he gave us all the instructions how to take care the puppy. I recommend Windsor Oak Farm to anyone who is looking for a puppy. Thank you Mr.Tom! The only recommendation I have is, if you like a puppy go right the way to pick up. As Mr. Tom doesn't request a deposit it is kind First come First serve. I had a picture of the puppy I would like to have but he was gone 1 day prior of my arrival. Funny and bad as hell but very lovable!! Got a yorkie for my mom for her birthday last year but had to wait until Nov to get her. She is adorable and everything my mom wanted and could ask for(partly my dog also even though my fur baby is 7). Was vet checked and is very healthy. You can't go wrong with a fur baby from here!!!

Did NOT come through; rude. Tom was initially very polite and helpful on the phone and said he would save a particular dog for us. When I called the day prior to embarking on an 8-hour road trip to pick up the puppy I could barely hear him over all the barking in the kennel, and he said he wasn't actually sure if the dog was a male or female but he had sold it anyway. He was rude on the phone, going into all sorts of detail about how busy he is which makes it difficult for him to keep track of who has requested what. He had no respect for my time, but was quick to explain that he is busy (and apparently overwhelmed). We didn't make the road trip, but I sure am glad I called to confirm prior to wasting a day of driving for nothing. read more

when my daughter requested another pic, due to the excitement of getting a new puppy, the person, texted that they spend hours of taking pictures and no we could not get more, that the one taken isn't...yes isn't a clear pic. Simply say unfortunately not or that there are more on site. clearly not excited to sell read more

BEWARE! Dont buy puppies from this place. They are darling but the Havenshire I bought on 10/31/17 turned out to be sick. I took the pup to my vet w/in the week of purchase. Puppy had bad ear infection, ear mites and an intestinal parasite GIARDIA! This parasite is transmitted by eating or sniffing contaminated ground or water! The meds cost about $58. After trying for a couple of days to get hold of owner, Tom, & I had emailed documention. He reimbursed me. What really burned me was that my poor puppy was still scratching her ear even tho she had been on eardrops for 9 days. I called the vet. They told me to bring her in. They did a slide/swab from her ear & examined it. Ear infection so bad was STILL there. The dosage was doubled. I had enough meds to last, the vet was assured me. I sent the invoice to Tom & told him I hadnt signed up for a sick pup. I paid $700, cash only! I was respectful in my emails. He was not. The bill was $91. He said he only reimbursed for meds! My response to him was "Not Cool"! Don't buy puppies here. read more

We purchased a Yorkie from Windsor in 7/17 and a year later we have the sweetest , smartest strong little guy that we just adore. So smart and so playful and affectionate. Tom was so informative and instructional in telling the people there to buy puppies how to take proper care and feeding and even getting them trained to do their business outside. So helpful. Our little guy had a little problem with Kennel cough when we brought him home and Tom reimbursed me for all the meds. He even recommended which vet to take him to and we still go there. Love Dr. Molesworth. So thankful we got our dog from Windsor Oak and if we get another we'll definitely be going there. read more

I called for more information on available puppies for my 2 boys and Tom was extremely rude and unprofessional. When selecting the perfect pet for your family you should definitely want a breeder that is caring, kind and most importantly professional! I was floored when he continuously interrupted everything I would say, he would not let me ask 1 complete question. Do not buy from Windsor Oak Farm!!! read more

This breeder is terrible at providing information and customer service. Days go by without returned calls/emails, only to be told that there are no longer puppies available much later. With the amount of money at stake here you'd expect a greater level of customer service. No explanation of why they were so inept at getting back to us and no offers to add us to a waiting list. Just rude overall. I will be continuing my search for a quality pup elsewhere and I recommend you do the same. read more

I purchased a Schnoodle from Tom at Windsor Oak Farm on 12/8/18. She was $675, which is very reasonable for a Schnoodle. There were three other groups picking out puppies at the same time we had scheduled our visit - one repeat customer. Tom was very busy but took time explaining basic puppy care to each of the families. He gave everyone written instructions, vet records, a small amount of puppy food and a nutritional supplement for the youngest puppies. This is definitely NOT a puppy mill. I am so glad that we drove the three hours from home to get our puppy a Windsor Oak. She is a dream! She is happy to be in her crate at night, she knows that she should go to the bathroom outside, and she is used to having nails clipped and hair brushed. She was examined by our veterinarian and is physically and emotionally healthy and had no fleas, ticks, or parasites. She loves to snuggle and play and is comfortable in our home with our other dog. Thank you, Tom, for raising such a sweet, happy puppy for us!! read more

Tom is an excellent, professional dog breeder. Windsor Oak Farm is gorgeous the premises was clean and it smelled good. I saw the litter of female Yorkies and they all looked very healthy with loads of energy. Tom took time talking with me about the food, puppy training, boosters, and he gave me the application to register my puppy with the ACA. He administered the first set of boosters and he asked right away "who is your Veterinarian" Tom was very knowledgeable about the Yorkies, temperament, and characteristics. He was very patient and answered all my questions, he stressed the importance of socializing my puppy right away. We discussed the importance of teeth brushing, and he offered a return policy under specific guidelines. This is my third purchase and if you decide to add an addition to your family Windsor Oak Farm is worth the drive. read more

Hi Mr. Thomas I had to take a minute to tell you how amazing the little male yorkie is that we adopted. By day 2 he's going to the door to go outside on our deck to do his business. When he is finished, he comes to my feet and sits. We were getting ready to go to bed last night. I couldn't find him; he was sitting at the door in the dark wanting to go out. He just about has the sit command down. He is amazing. He has a healthy appetite and endless energy. We love him so much Mr. Thomas does a lot Of talking. He gives you vital info on the care of your puppy and makes sure you understand. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. .We were able to see several different breeds. Went here & got an 11 week Chorkie for my 11 year old grandaughter for Christmas, we've had her for almost 2 weeks now & she is the sweetest little baby ever! The gentlemen explained everything you would need to know to get started with your new puppy & seemed to know what he was talking about. Also, gave us enough food for a couple days. He even emailed us a couple days later checking on the puppy. The puppy (Piper) is doing great & was used to us & her new furever home in just a few days! She is even going on the potty pad! We love her already, she's the cutest little thing! We will definatly go back there in the future for another puppy, thank you Windsor Oak Farm! read more

Communication from start to finish was wonderful. At the appointment to view a puppy I was interested in, he was patient letting me observe and did not rush me. I decided it was not the puppy for me. While I was there I observed and played with a few others. I decided 2 weeks later through great communication to get another puppy I had played with. The entire process was amazing. My director referred me here as this is where she also got her puppy. I have met another who got her puppy here over a year ago and said how healthy her puppy is and also would refer everyone here. We purchased our male Frenchie puppy on July 24th from Thom. He spent alot of time telling us about the needs, characteristics, potential health problems, etc of this breed. He also gave us a starter package of food, medicine, etc. He allowed us plenty of time to interact with the 3 available Frenchies, I never felt pressured to make a quick choice. As part of the agreement, we took our new puppy to our vet 7 days after we brought him home. Our vet said that he is a very healthy puppy, no parasites, illnesses, etc and was up to date in all vaccinations.Our little Frenchie is quite a character and we are so happy to have added him to our family. read more

I bought my maltipoo puppy from Tom last week. She is a healthy, playful and happy puppy. She went to my personal vet for her well puppy check up and passed with flying colors.....very healthy. Tom was very informative with the care, diet, and potty training when I picked her up. He had her medical records available and she was up to date on her vaccinations and dewormer .
