Previously my puppy has gone to a different daycare, but at the Wagging lounge you can tell the staff enjoy what they do and love dogs. When we picked him up afterwards he was happy and worn out, and the staff all said "Bye Ted!" on the way out. Overall, great experience for a dog owner and my happy boy. When booking online, the system prompts you to enter your card information immediately after selecting an appointment. Typically, this step indicates that a deposit will be processed, but that wasn't clearly communicated at the time of booking. When a team member later called to confirm my appointment, I mentioned that I had already entered my card information during the booking process. There was no follow-up from the team to clarify whether the deposit had been received, and since no additional communication was sent, I reasonably assumed everything was confirmed. However, I received a text message at 5:40 p.m. on 10/10/25 -- about 20 minutes before closing -- stating that my appointment scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on 10/11/25 had been canceled. I immediately called and texted but didn't receive a response until the next morning when the business reopened, at which point the appointment was already canceled. Given that appointments here are often booked weeks, if not months, in advance, it's extremely difficult to pivot or make alternate arrangements on such short notice. The lack of follow-up and the last-minute cancellation were disappointing, especially considering the time and planning it takes to secure a spot. I'm sharing this feedback constructively, as I understand things happen, but clearer communication and more proactive customer service would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

Second, when I smell her she doesn't smell like shampoo or anything pleasant at all. In fact, she smelled like cigarettes and I KNOW FOR A FACT it didn't come from my place because I despise smoking. Third, she hooked herself up to my house and used my electricity instead of a generator and charged me full price for it when she was using MY electricity AND without permission. Fourth, something must've happened during the grooming session because I see my dogs fur everywhere outside my house. Was she shaving my dogs fur outside the truck? If so, why? They normally do it inside the truck. She also did not clean up after herself very well and left me a mess to clean up so my second dog (a 3 month husky) does not come by and eat it up. Fifth, before I scheduled the appointment with her I asked for the pricing. She told me it would be $50. After the grooming is complete she charged me $60. Lastly, she hurt my dog to the point where she was bleeding under her arm and she didn't even bring this to my attention!! There is now a scab the size of a quarter under my dogs arm. I uploaded a photo. I'm very displeased with this service and I'm NEVER going back nor will I ever recommend her to someone else. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Our concerns were listened to and the response was respectful. The owner not only heard our concerns but they were able to show they can be objective in their assessment of the issue. They went above and beyond to make it right. The solutions offered were both incredibly generous and fair. In terms of the quality of the grooming, they made our fur babies look like pristine angels. They smell fantastic too, and their hair looked amazingly glossy and soft. They appear to do great with grooming both small and large dogs (we have both), and they even did great work on our big boy who has hair that's more difficult to work with. In resolving the issue with one of our pups, they blended things perfectly to make the original issue appear more natural and less jarring. We have been boarding her here over 4 yrs and have never had any problems. We have had her boarded there from a long weekend to 2 weeks. Gracie always comes home clean, exhausted and happy. I also like the fact that whenever I call to book her stay there is always availability. That's appreciated when we have short notice on having to be out of town. They let the dogs pee all over the floor instead of taking them out, so my very well trained dog start having accidents. I immediately called the front desk and asked them to remove him and they never did. I kept on watching the cameras and he would not leave my poor baby alone! I jumped in the car and drove there as fast as I could and never took her back. And there were TWO workers in there who didn't do a single thing to help! Almost every single time I picked my baby up she was in a crate. I took her there to be loved, to have play time, and to be safe.
