The gal that was working the dressing rooms was hauling and still took the time to help us with our decision. I also thought the prices were extremely reasonable and they offer a 14-day return policy. I walked in with a photo of a dress I needed to pick up and was assisted by a sales associate named Wendy. She immediately searched for it but, when she couldn't locate it, she took the initiative--without me even asking--to call another store and have the dress held for me. As someone who used to manage a retail store, I know how valuable that kind of initiative and customer care is, and I always hoped my team would demonstrate the same level of service. I absolutely loooove shopping at Windsor! However, the older big woman who I'm assuming is the manager was rude and not helpful at all! I needed to do a return and she turned me away due to not having enough funds in her registers. Is this how you treat all of your customers? Just to turn them away without any solution other than going to another location? I came here because it was convenient at the time. I did not appreciate being basically refused service because you couldn't manage your registers. I also felt so bad for the girls working with her. They look so unhappy, quiet and stressed running around while she was just there on her computer. I remember coming in and seeing everyone so alive and upbeat. What happened? read more

One thing that needs improvement is an attitude adjustment from one of their employees. Never have I ever been treated by someone so rudely! I asked for help and this little girl gave so much attitude and acted as if I was a nuisance to her while she just hung stuff up. According to my receipt, her name is Wendy. How can a company hire someone who doesn't even want to help others. That is definitely not customer service!! I needed a different size and she just said we don't have it. Without even offering another solution. All of their other girls are so sweet and nice but she is a rotten apple in the bunch. I don't think I will be returning to this store. Walking in after the gym to look for some cute going-out clothes, I immediately noticed one person behind the counter on the phone, I mean who could miss her she was talking extremely loud for no reason, while the other two employees were busy helping customers. While I was there, I heard the woman behind the counter yell across the store first for one girl, then for the other. Those poor girls (one was wearing a green dress and the other one was wearing a pink skirt) they were just doing their jobs the best they could and didn't deserve that kind of treatment. I would have given this place 5 stars based on those two employees alone they were friendly and helpful. But because of that one person behind the counter, I can't. I had asked her about getting a shirt down, and instead of assisting me, she just yelled again still on the phone, talking to who knows who, just looking under the registers. I understand she might have been fixing something, but she didn't need to constantly yell for the other girls. She could have paused her call and helped me out herself it would have not taken no more than a minute. At one point, I even saw her move one of the girls from one register to the other while still working under the counter. It felt chaotic and unprofessional. And honestly, this isn't the first time I've heard her yelling across the store. I've gone in there a couple of times before and noticed the same thing. It really affects the shopping experience. Great store, great clothes, and great job to those two other girls! Management really needs to address this, because the rest of the staff deserves better. read more

It's funny how my last review was taken down. I suppose management is trying to hide something. This is one of the worst stores ever. They make Ross & DDs look good. Their managers are terrible people. All I've ever witnessed at this location is how they talk about others and each other. Not to mention the way they treat their customers with so much disrespect! I honestly think this place purposely hires people with horrible attitudes and zero customer service skills. I decided to run over to this location after leaving the gym. I still had about 5 minutes before they opened, so I waited. The person came to open the door, looked directly at me and said nothing. No good morning, no greeting, nothing. Just a look like she was annoyed I was there. I found what I was looking for and went to the register, where the same person and another girl continued their conversation, before finally giving me a "you ready?". I guess this is just the way it is now. Which is really sad. I wonder how they would respond when giving the same type of service. read more

I was very disappointed during my recent visit.This tall lady was raising her voice at one of the employees in front of customers, which created a very uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere. This kind of conduct reflects poorly on the store and makes me question the management and training in place. I came in last night shopping for my daughter for homecoming and the workers last night were amazing! They were trying their hardest to look for a shoe to go with my daughters dress and although they didn't have it available in store they were able to order it online for us! The store was completely empty when I walked in to look around. I wasn't greeted initially, which was fine. Then I walked toward the back where two employees were hanging clothes and chatting. One employee with curly blonde hair glared at me, stared at me up and down, and still neither of them greeted me or asked if I needed help. She continued to talk to her coworker, complaining how her boyfriend hasn't proposed to her yet. Can't imagine why. I soon left the store without acknowledgement from either of them. Windsor stores always have nice clothes and dresses on display. Usually there is a sale section but this one doesn't have that - which was fine, not an issue for me. I was disappointed by the lack of customer service. When I was lining up to pay, I was really confused and unsure of when I was meant to step up to the register. There was a woman behind there (available and not serving anyone) but did not gesture to me or say anything. I was visibly ready to pay for my items but she didn't seem to care. There was one nice employee out of the 6 or so that were there. She kindly pointed me to the dressing room that was available. Me being 6" tall I knew that sometimes changing room doors could be an issue.. but I could clearly have my head seen at the top. A little bit awkward for tall people but that's alright. read more

Went to the store with my mom because she needed a matching piece with another bottom piece. A short lady with brown hair was trying to help us but there was really nothing matching my moms description so my mom said that she would look on her own and how she did not want to waste the lady's time so it was okay. The lady went back to the front and my mother and I proceeded to walk around the store. About 2 minutes later the lady would then start to complain to her other coworkers about my mom and what she needed and they all started snickering. I luckily overheard them and walked out of the store with my mother angrily and told my mother as she was still looking while I heard them. Not only am I angry but I also hope that the lady who "helped" us gets treated the same way she treated us because that was just rude and unethical. The store has some nice and chic items, but unfortunately the two girls that work over there are very unprofessional and they take away from the store image as a whole. A store without good customer service = TERRIBLE My mother walked in earlier today 08/04/22 and apparently the store was not open yet, so one of the ladies that work there spoke to her very very rudely and yelled at her!! What kind of customer service is that??? She could have politely asked her to leave and come back when the store opens. They have to learn to treat their customers well if they want to stay open during those hard times! Just be kind to people! My mother and I later come in after the store opens and the two people working in there (one of them that treated my mother in a disrespectful manner earlier) was one of them! They do not greet us! One of my fave stores bc of the customer service but recently I went there and saw some new workers and I didn't make much of it but then they started taking about another coworker right in front of me and how strict Cristina was. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I just had to rave about De'ara! I was looking for a birthday outfit and didn't know where to start. De'ara went above and beyond to piece together an outfit for me and when something didn't workout she was invested to find me something that catered to my needs. Her excitement when I found the perfect outfit made me feel like I was on cloud nine. Especially because I'm in between sizes and we know how that goes and how frustrating it can be trying to find the perfect fit. She truly is a golden star employee and will be back just to see her. When i walked in i was completely ignored. Even when i made eye contact with a couple of the employees a few minutes after entrance, i was still ignored. I had about five items of clothing in my hand while I was still shopping, no one asked if they could start a dressing room for me or anything. Mind you, it was not busy at all, it was probably one or two other people in the store and one of the employees wasn't doing anything. In addition, I when I was ready to try on my clothes I went over to the fitting rooms and no one assisted me so I grabbed a room on my own. Still NO acknowledgment at this point. Very disappointed in how the store was managed!! Unlike the other stores in Victoria Gardens, it was like if Covid was not a thing! There was no one managing the doors and who was allowed to enter, so the entire store was fully packed! There were at least 30 people in the store, which was a lot especially because the clothing racks are so close together and the vicinity is small. There was no one managing the people in line being six feet apart, and there was only 2 people working the registers when the line was almost out the door. The lady who helped me behind the register, I wasn't able to catch her name but she was kinda short, had blonde hair with brown roots, had her mask below her nose-- bad example for those in the store who also had their masks below their nose. I was greeted by a tall employee with tattoos, she informed me that the fitting rooms were open, which is good to know before shopping. When I was there, 2 girls were talking about the new manager(I guess), they kept saying "When she comes back things will go back to normal, because she doesn't know what she is doing." I looooooove youuu Windsors i shop here whenever i am in need of a beautiful fancy gown last minute for a wedding or any important occasion but today you disappointed me the reason why is you only have sizes XS (extra small) , S (small) , Medium , and veryy few times i was lucky to see a Large sooo where are the clothes for the curvier girls who use XL , XXL ?!! We were looking for the perfect white graduation dress. My daughter tried on several and Claudia made herself available to help us, she was very helpful even when the store was super busy. We found the perfect dress just the wrong size. Claudia went above and beyond to call and find the dress in the size we needed at the Windsor in Mont Claire ( fantastic store and staff too!). I get the whole Covid restrictions but this place had two worker and no sense of respect for peoples time. I waited 20 mins to get in the store then waited another 20 mins in line behind 1 customer while she decided which items she wanted and then she wanted a discount for a stain that was maybe there. I only gave this store a 1 star out of 5 even though this store deserves no stars or nothing but a half of a star. This store never answers the phone when you call. And the ladies are always so rude when they finally answer. Like it killed them to answer the phone. I'm sorry you hate your job that you have to sound that miserable. Smh...I've been trying to figure out how many dresses the store had of a certain style, I call only because I live in Victorville so for me to drive 30+ mins just to find out an answer would be ridiculous. So calling was my next best option, but nobody ever answers. I sent one of my bridesmaids there while she had an appointment down there to check out the style and to see how many they have and she said she just walked out after dealing with one of the ladies on staff. How can you expect to make any kind of sales when you're rude to your customers on the phone and on the floor. I've worked in retail so I too know how your day can be ruined by a customer or two or even your own personal problems, but don't be rude to your customers because you won't make any money based off your attitude. I had 8 bridesmaids who WERE going to buy from you but we decided to take our business to a place who's customer service was much more professional. Simply pathetic and absurd. If your a male, do not attend the shopping experience here with your significant other. You are treated as a pervert. My significant other was trying on outfits in the fitting room and I was asked to stand about 10 feet away behind the "towers". I was not allowed by the fitting room door so I wasn't able to see her try on things. While there were groups of females waiting/leaning against the doors of their company while they tried on clothes. Extremely sad, cause I'm the one purchasing the products yet I can't see them. The girls at the Windsor in Victoria Gardens give amazing customer service. I went in to look for a dress for my one year wedding anniversary and every girl that was working greeted me at least once, offered to hold my items in a dressing room and asked me if I needed help with anything. They are all so pleasant to be around. They are all smiling and look happy to be at work. This is not just a one time thing, they are always so friendly when I go in.
