I stopped to see what kind of shoe insoles they had to offer since I am dealing with foot and back pain. I was instantly greeted by a young man named Finn. I received excellent customer service and I was really impressed with his product knowledge. I walked out with a pair of inserts for myself and picked up a pair for my husband. I will definitely be back to purchase more inserts if these work out for my everyday shoes and I will definitely look for Finn to help me out! Don't underestimate his youthfulness. I visited LIQ on a Saturday and purchased a pair of shoes, clearly requesting a size 7. The salesperson gave me a 7.5 without even confirming. After realizing the mistake at home, I returned to exchange them. At that time, I decided to purchase another pair and again specifically asked Michael for a size 7. Yet again, I was given a 7.5. When I returned a second time due to their repeated mistake, I was told there are no refunds--even though it was their staff who provided the wrong size on both occasions. This was not my fault. They did not have my correct size in stock and refused to issue a refund, offering only store credit. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, Jorge was put on the phone and incredibly told me to "go f*** off." Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior, especially from someone in a management role. To make matters worse, when I became visibly frustrated (which any reasonable person would be), they called security on me. There is in-store video footage that clearly shows me requesting a size 7 both times. This is not how customers should be treated--especially when the mistake is entirely on the store. If you value customer service and professionalism, I strongly advise staying away from LIQ at Glendale Galleria.

Decided to give them a second chance and went in this past Friday to look for a pair of puma ballerina shoes, someone came over to help me but the display was my size. As I was tying on the shoe, all the employees gathered by the register to talk smack about a group of children that were in there before me. The store is small, I was with my partner and his sister, we all heard them criticizing the children and complain that if anyone walks into the store with a backpack they should be obligated to leave it at the door or better yet not even bother coming inside. It all didn't click to me that it was one of the workers talking until I went to put the shoe back on the shelf and realized all the employees were gathered gossiping, then one of them started talking about the kids looking a certain way/ making assumptions about the kind of people they must be. I walked our without purchasing anything, that kind of behavior should be unacceptable, these were a group of 20 something year olds talking about young teenagers. I couldn't believe how unprofessional they were being. It's that kind of behavior that made me realize they're probably so caught up in gossip that they messed up on my order the first time I shopped there. I don't recommend any one at all coming here. Go to Tilly's or any surrounding shops and spare yourself the headache of having to hear adults that'd rather help you than provide good customer service.

I'm clearly NOT alone when I say the customer service in the El Paseo Anthro leaves much to be desired. As is true with the other reviewers, my closet is basically 100% anthro and has been for probably almost 2 decades so I feel I am entitled to comment on the service at the physical store. A. You should be as grateful as possible to anyone walking into your doors these days!!! Right?? The employees should be overly nice and bending over backwards to be helpful and friendly. Is that what is happening here? NOT! For one thing, closing at 5pm on a Sunday when the streets are full of shoppers is stupid, but that's another argument. I approached the store at 4:45pm with the sales lady very unwelcomingly closes the propped open door to seemingly discourage any more shoppers from walking in. I asked if they were still open because she didn't even give me eye contact when I tried to come in and basically shut the door on my face. "I close in 10 minutes" she said with no smile and just walked away. This is an older lady, with frizzy bleached hair who limps around the store looking very unwelcoming and almost irritated with some gross looking medical gloves on which is 100% totally unnecessary and just medically stupid. She's been there a long time and frankly should go. i don't see how she represents the brand at all in look, style, or demeanor. As I stroll around, everyone is making a point to make me feel like I need to get the hell out of the store asap because they have to rush off to goodness knows where, but not stay there! What happened to the days when you'd walk in a store 1 minute before closing and they would be happy, tell you to take your time and not act like you were a fricken annoyance and someone who will do nothing more than disrupt the shelves they are so anxiously arranging for tomorrow. I can't feel sorry for stores that go out of business because they are pissing off loyal customers who want to actually spend money in their store!!! Lastly, the grumpy old lady snaps at you to put your mask on (which I was already doing) and then practically yelled at me when I went to remove it as I left the building. Uh, I'm one step out the door...I do not think you need to yell at me like I'm a child because I'm taking my mask off to go outside. If the lady thinks she's going to die because I didn't have a useless mask on for 2 seconds after I've already touched everything she's touching, then she should not be out in public or working for that matter. Go home and stay in your basement if the outside world is truly that dangerous. Anthro, you can do better! You don't have to be like all the other stores snapping at customers and treating them like subordinates and turning your sales people into mask nazis...it's just not cool, pleasant or even logical. read more

My wife and I finally visited the Anthropologie at Victoria Gardens, conveniently located next to Gold's Gym, and was really impressed. The store is pretty big, with a layout that wraps around inside, making it feel spacious and inviting. It's very clean and welcoming, which made for a pleasant shopping experience. We ended up purchasing a gift for a friend's birthday, and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful throughout. The prices are on the higher end, but they do have occasional sales and discounted items, so you can still find some good deals if you keep an eye out. They have a great selection of unique and stylish items, perfect for women who love something different.
