Loud footsteps and conversations past 12am, even 1am. Coldwell Commerical is just as complicit as the neighbors with the noise ordinance violation. I would also strongly recommend that any prospective clients look at the state license board, and you WILL confirm their license has LAPSED on more than one occasion. Upon her calling me back, because she disagreed with what I was asking about, she raised her voice, cut me off anytime I started to talk, told me flat out that my deposit was not going to be given back because of "estimates", then continued to yell that if we have a problem "we can try to sue them" and hung up on me. I cannot imagine that anybody would want a person as rude and disrespectful as Sally to be the face of their company, I was just blown away by how disgusting she handled herself in that conversation, it was reminiscent of talking to a hormonal teenage girl. This is also not the first time she has been disrespectful to me over the phone, as well as my husband who followed up on my behalf. Definitely reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau. I hope in the future they employ people who get things handled but also know how to communicate and treat other humans with dignity and respect. That is not Sally in the slightest...

This place is a total scam. I lived in a home for 3.5 years and took very well care of it. I ended up hiring a cleaner and sent her the list of items that Matthew told me to clean and she did so diligently. Matthew then told me that he was charging me $400 for a cleaning fee because the oven wasn't cleaned. I'm not sure if they expected me to buy a new oven but after 3.5 years of using an oven, some of the burnt areas will not look brand new. At this point I already paid my cleaner $200 and paying $600 to clean the kitchen and bathroom of a house is ridiculous to me and it feels like he purposely didn't give me a recommendation because he wanted to charge me the $400. He sent me photos of little dust particles and the "dirty" oven and said he will be taking out $400 from my security deposit. I pleaded with him to let me into the unit to finish up and he refused. I contacted someone else from the office and he said he will talk to Matthew and guess what he responded with? That he will be deducting another $100 for the overflow of trash next to the bins we put out. I went back the next day and it was still there and it happened to be trash day so that means he collected $100 and didn't clean up extra bags. We had already called for bulk items recycling twice so it was not a lot of stuff. I agree that the house should be cleaned out but it would've been nice to be able to go back to clean the stuff that he told me to clean AFTER my cleaning lady came by. Whenever something was broken, they would only give availability during the week from 9-5pm making it impossible to have someone come over since I was at work. And when they did, it was always a cover up with a splash of paint or mismatched parts. Another time Matthew contacted me saying he never got my rent check and that I had to come in immediately to drop off another one. I left work early and took an Uber from downtown to give him another check and then a few days later he tells me that he found my check and he'll just use it for next month's rent. When I asked him where he had found it, he replied that it was in their mailbox. Where all the rent checks are supposed to be delivered to. I spent so many hours trying to resolve the issue of him taking $500 from my security deposit after I spent $200 on cleaning and he was not only rude, he continued to make things worse by adding another charge. We are in a pandemic and we're all struggling to stay afloat and he does some shady sh*t like this.

We moved to a lovely new place that is sadly managed by another company. While our apartment is great, I am so used to the exceptional service and caring staff at George Goodwin that I am always quite surprised at the lack of concern with the current company. From our move in, to our move out 5 years later we had nothing but caring service. We had a very fair move out because we did APPROVED improvements and left the place in better shape than it was. They did not have to pay us back for some of it, but they did because they are so fair. We miss you and your whole team and hope that you can train our current management company on how to care.

Finding a good agent is important in this hypercompetitive market and Andy is as honest, friendly and professional as they come. His expertise on the neighborhoods were a huge plus, we ended up buying in a neighborhood we had not even considered until Andy showed it to us and told us more about the area.
