It's located downtown Tarpon Springs, you are greeted upon entry, you have the choice to seat yourself, and I chose to sit outside! Sitting outside gives you some downtown-city vibes! I ordered one large pizza, half sausage, pineapple and the other half was made up with; mushrooms, bacon, chicken with extra cheese....SOOOOO DELICIOUS! #WoodFired I had a Strawberry Basil cocktail, and it was soooooo refreshing! You can get whatever you would like to drink as far as cocktails are concerned, they have a full bar. Service was really great, fast, and on point! The waitress was SUCH a delight and was VERY attentive! We tried this place for the first time. it was extremely busy, but we found a place alongside the front window, which was a bonus because we got two people watch during First Friday. We decided to share a personal pizza which is perfect for two people because the slices are so large so each of us got two pieces. We also ordered the pickle fries. Those were OK, but not the best I've ever had. They said they were lightly fried, but they were pretty heavily fried and the pickles were very thin inside. The pizza was amazing but had too much flour on the bottom, but it was still very good. We would definitely go back again. Service was good as well. read more

I have to be honest...BackDraughts isn't what it used to be, and I speak as someone who's been going here since 2022. The staff here are still incredibly kind, and the ambiance is still warm and inviting, but the chefs are starting to lose their touch. Lately I feel like the quality is starting to go down a little bit, and the fact this is happening in tandem with rising costs is especially a problem. While a few new items were added, which is fantastic, I've noticed that quantity (both in how many choices they have as well as how many they can serve) seems to be taking priority over quality, which is a very big mistake. As I said a while ago their crust needed improvement...not only has that not improved but I've noticed they have a tendency to rush the pizzas now, and more often than not I find the crust burnt half the time, which is a yellow flag for me. I'm still baffled they're really sticking with pickle "fries" over traditional pickle chips (the former which never stays inside and is a sloppy mess), and they've gotten incredibly rusty with how they do the garlic-parm rub option to their waffle fries. Trying to be unique shouldn't be a restaurant's only focus; uniqueness in food choices means little when said food is unappealing...I honestly hate to say this, in spite of new additions to the menu, BackDraughts is starting to come up short. The food is still edible, and the drinks are okay, but its food is in dire need of improvement. read more

I was visiting a friend in Tarpon Springs for a quick day trip and she recommended we try this place out! From what I understand they have a couple of locations throughout the area on the coast! When we arrived we are able to be seated fairly quickly even though it was a large group of us. The place itself is very casual and gives you old school bar vibes, which was completely different from what I expected. For your pizzas you have the option to order them either personal sized (4 slices) or you can get a large to share (8 slices). They had small bites you could choose from as well such as buffalo cauliflower bites, cheese curds, and wings, but we opted to get straight to the pizza! We ordered the Bianca & the Chicken Alfredo Pizza. Bianca is one of my favorites so there was no surprises when I enjoyed it! The chicken Alfredo pizza was surprisingly delicious as well! I'm not a huge chicken Alfredo girl, but in pizza form with some bacon on top? Chefs kiss! Both pizzas are completely devoured. I love when pizzas are cooked all the way through at the bottom so it doesn't bend when you pick it up to eat it! Went to check out The nearby bike shop to see if they could do a tune up and add a kickstand. We decided to walk around after the bike shop. We were walking around and saw this place. I ordered a Guinness and water. For food I chose the Mediterranean Village Salad and on the waitresses' suggestion the White Hibiscus Pizza personal size. My son ordered a Caesar salad and the chicken Alfredo pizza. Our waitress was nice and patient with me as I asked questions. She was the only waitress and was handling about 18 customers with more coming in. The place was rustic if I had to say. They have a bar that takes up about a third of the space with a good draft beer selection and decent offerings of wine. There is music in the background but not overwhelming so you can have a conversation. A refreshing salad with a nice combination of tastes. The feta cheese, onions, and cucumber work well together. Oh the Guinness was good. Well here is my pizza. Interesting look. The balsamic glaze was excellent with the spinach leaves. I added some parmesan cheese just a tad. The tomato did not add anything in my opinion it was the meh of the pizza. It is a family friendly place so use that knowledge when you come here. We were seated next to a family who used an alternative method to discipline unruly children. Get extra napkins you will need to wipe the glaze off your mouth and hands. All in all this place was great. I give it 4.45 stars. read more

We stopped here for dinner on a Thursday evening after visiting the Replay Amusement Museum (it's a few doors down and a must visit). We sat outside because the weather was perfect, but they have plenty of indoor seating inside.
