Bob of course chooses the menu and buys all of the ingredients for each one of the appetizers, of the main course, and the dessert. As you smell what you are cooking, it comes alive to your nose and to your other senses. After that you sit down and eat your appetizer and then go back to fix your main course and then of course the dessert later. I wish that my photos would give some idea of the tastiness of our meal. It is so difficult to explain the taste of a meal that you have created, although Chef Bob was quickly back and forth to each of the 6 stoves being used by 12 strangers, who by the end of the evening (2 1/2 hours!) were not strangers any longer.

She has a valid foreign driver license but they check everybody's license. What they don't tell you is valid foreign driver licenses are not allowed for sale even if they are with you and not buying alcohol. Apparently it's corporate policy. Don't waste your time driving there if you fall into that category. I've traveled the world and have used my U.S. license in foreign countries all over. I can't support a business that doesn't reciprocate what the majority of the rest of the world does. It's not about the alcohol but the ethics in my book.

If you are there to sit and sip, you go up to the register and start a tab. They give you a lil' hotel key looking card that is attached to the tab you started. And then you self-serve around via the contraptions holding the available wines for tasting. You insert the card, select the wine you want a pour of, and what volume of the wine you want dispensed in to your glass. The machines show you what each amount of each variety costs and you get as much as you want when you want. It is fun and convenient, and then you get to sit and sit at some tables set among the quantities of wine available for purchase. When you are done, you go up to the register to tally up and close out. They have a good variety and range of wines available for tasting and purchase, red and white, dry to sweet. The staff is friendly and happy to answer any questions or steer you in a direction you might be interested in going.
