Very casual service, romantic or relaxing setting I admit, I have drives by Fall Creek so many times but the ugly plastic flamingos kept me from visiting. I was celebrating a friend's birthday and we were looking for a casual spot to enjoy a glass of wine so we decided to take a chance. We were both pleasantly surprised by the beautiful stone wall, flowers, and gas lamps! This would definitely be worth visiting again on a cooler evening to walk the property and try the covered patio. The Lescalo Rose was very good - it is a little sweeter than I would normally drink but it really is light and refreshing. In fact, I purchased an extra bottle to enjoy poolside and everyone really enjoyed it! The service is extremely casual and the small tasting room has a large fireplace so Fall Creek is definitely going on my winter romantic date night list. While we were visiting, there was a mix of a bachelorette party, hill country day trippers, and locals so clearly something for everyone. This is a nice option if you are looking for something that doesn't require reservations. Next time, I will definitely do a wine tasting and check their calendar to see what events they offer.

Great experience ay Fall Creek Vineyards. Beautiful property, calm and inviting. Our server helped us to feel right at home and provided generous information about wine selections and the venue history. We sampled a few delicious wine choices before selecting a bottle of Roussanne. We also purchased a bottle of Rose' to enjoy later. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Beautiful winery with a beautiful garden to sit in and relax. The staff was great, friendly and knowledgeable. However I wasn't too big a fan of the wines, I'm more of a sweet wine drinker and most of what they have are all dry. But I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience of the place.

During a recent overnight stay in Austin for a concert, we decided to visit a vineyard the following day. A quick search led us to Fall Creek. It's about a 30 minute drive outside of downtown Austin. We were very pleased to have visited! This place is beautiful and so peaceful! Our host was knowledgeable and friendly! She provided helpful information on the wines being served and also interesting facts about the venue itself. We were given a tour and settled on sitting at a table in the main room. We ordered a charcuterie board to accompany the wines. The samples started with light white wines and moved towards reds, finishing with a fuller bodied merlot. We purchased their house mustard made with wine. It's so yummy! We look forward to visiting again next time we're in Austin!

A great winery! This is a beautiful winery and a great stop if you plan on visiting the other winery nearby or salt lick BBQ. Everyone is exceptionally helpful, they have a very comfortable tasting room, but I felt the tasting was way overpriced, so I decided to just buy a bottle of the Fall Creek Vineyards Tempranillo to drink while the rest of the group had their tasting. They have an impressive operation and make some wonderful wines, definitely worth the stop. Cheers!

We had an amazing experience celebrating our anniversary here! The customer service was exceptional and very knowledgeable! (Ask for Darrel!!) Very nice atmosphere and the wine was stellar!

If you're looking to have a nice day trip from Austin, Fall Creek is a great spot. I love coming out here for a wine tasting and enjoying the outside patio and having the vineyard to explore. The landscape is gorgeous and the staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. Most importantly, the wine is delicious. Pro tip- for an additional $8 you can add on an extra tasting of the ExTerra Tempranillo (usually a $100 bottle). It's amazing and a must try.

The only vineyard worth visiting near Austin! Y'all I'm serious, the atmosphere is very quiet, homey, they greet you as soon as you walk in and want to help you have a great experience. They need to be seen more online! Good and wine are both great prices, they make all of their own wine as well. They also have open vineyards to walk, unlike many vineyards in the area. 10/10 would return! Thank you!

RUINED our honeymoon - I cannot empathize this enough!!!! Only giving 1 star since I can't give 0. Let me start with we planned on going here for a Honeymoon Getaway, & this place gave the WORST possible customer service I have ever received. The ambiance was a room full of "Susan & Karen" clones who all looked the same. 1st off; we had booked the Chardonnay Room for our Honeymoon. On our drive from Dallas we were running a bit behind & we called ( +1(512) 858-4050) to notify that we'd be late for our 4pm tasting. They said no problem, we close at 5. We also re-iterated that we had the Chardonnay Room & they told us "oh no worries we'll see y'all when you get here". First the signs are not accurate and we can't find the "Guest House Parking there was only "Visitor Parking" & "Limousine parking". We call, they tell us "uh yeah go in that direction there's a shed & the parking is there". It wasn't. We park and go inside to ask for help & that's where the shit show began. First we walked in & looked around for someone to help, but NO ONE walked up to us or even greeted us with a "one moment please". Not even 5 seconds later a group of 10+ white women walk in and they were IMMEDIATELY approached by who I believed to be Debbie. She started chatting it up with them & never looked in my direction the whole time despite me scanning the room like a lost dog looking for help. Debbie continued her conversation & the wine tasting room was clearing out from the last group so I asked the lady behind the counter (Meghan) for help with finding the Chardonnay Room & the Guest Room Parking. Meghan started to rattle off directions as I walk to my husband and I ask her "can someone please just walk with us? We're from out of town & are super confused". She started to get an attitude saying "it's not our job, it's hill country". We mentioned we have a tasting at 6, & Meaghan replied "we close at 6". She walked us outside & showed the keypad to enter the code, but the lock was hidden on a gate COVERED in vines, it starting to get dark, & the lock label wasn't even facing forward it was on the back. My husband then clarified that we were not having a good experience so far, & Meghan wanted to remark "you'll need to call Hill Country for that." I looked straight at my husband & said "I'm not staying here with all this, I'd rather go back to Dallas." The fact that she didn't feel the need to sympathize, apologize for us having difficulty, NOTHING - was enough for me. I would NEVER recommend this place.

Fall Creek Vineyards is a winery nestled on a beautiful property in Texas' wine country. We were greeted upon entry and taken to our table. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the wines. We ended up ordering a cheese platter, which had some great cheeses. The wine itself was alright. The only one I liked off the menu was the merlot rosé. Everyone's palate is different, of course. My sister really liked the Roussanne. We both ordered a glass of our favorites to enjoy before going to the next winery. The ambiance of the winery is wonderful and it's very picturesque.

Their backyard was a delightful surprise (I didn't realize they have a pool and fountain // waterfall - which wasn't functional during our visit) and a beautiful spot for enjoying our bottles of wine. We didn't try any food this visit. Staff was very friendly.

I visited this vineyards Dec 23 in the afternoon. We were the only one in the winery. We received good attention from the staff. The wine tasting was really good. Got to get one of the bottles for a present and an edged glass to keep. I plan to visit Texas in a near future and this is one place that I plan to come back again. Wine first and bbq later. Of all of the wines Mourvedre was our favorite.

Fall Creek Vineyards totally exceeded our expectations! We have been super strict about staying home during COVID-19, but my #1 birthday wish was to get out ... in a safe way. With young children. My husband called Fall Creek ahead of time and was told that kids were allowed and that there was plenty of outdoor space. We arrived around 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon and were greeted by a super friendly and knowledgeable gentleman. I wish I had grabbed his name, because he was seriously amazing. He let us know that a food purchase was required to be served on premise, which was not a problem at all because everything looked delicious (we chose a cheese platter), and gave us a wine menu as well. We selected our own seats and were able to stay away from the party that came in after us. Our sommelier was so knowledgeable and provided everything in a COVID-19 safe way. He was also super sweet to our kids, even though our three year old was crushing crackers on the table (we cleaned up after him before we left but it was still so embarrassing). All of the wines were delicious. We ended up leaving with their Tempranillo, their Sauvignon-blanc (vintners-selection) and two souvenir glasses. We spent about an hour at Fall Creek, which ended up being the total highlight of my birthday, but could have spent more time there exploring their beautiful grounds had we not had a dinner reservation.

We came as part of a larger tour across multiple Driftwood area wineries with reservations for their tastings. They have a set tasting menu and a staff member will guide you through each of the pours with explanations of the flavor profiles. On our last visit it was a mix of whites, reds and a sweet wine at the end. The pours are generous and all their wines have tasted great. You can order some snacks like a charcuterie plate on the side. The space is beautiful and I've heard they have a venue on the estate for hosting parties or weddings. They have a beautiful outdoor garden that makes for gorgeous photos or relaxing outside. Check this spot out on your next Austin area winery tour!

Luckily my sister had the reservation email to show them because the girl just kept repeating the same thing until someone senior came by to help us. The wine was tasty but the tasting itself was only moderately enjoyable. The main reason was the tasting was 30-40 minutes long and we just had to stand at a counter. We couldn't order food at the counter either. We are used to tastings being at a table where we do the tasting, order bottles we enjoyed while noshing on food from the menu. Standing for 40 minutes at a counter was not expected or enjoyable. One of our family members has a disability and is unable to stand that long so he and my husband sat outside while the ladies did the wine tasting inside at the counter. It was really disappointing as the expectation was a nice afternoon at the winery with the group and it ended up being two separate groups and standing the whole time at a counter wasn't enjoyable. The wine was good. We brought two bottles home. The experience left a lot to be desired.

I enjoyed my time here. Don't forget to get some gelato on your way out. The service was spectacular and the waiter was so knowledgeable about the menu . Now, let's get into what I ate. Appetizers: Bread- I'm not sure what the proper name for the bread is, but it was so good. The bread was like a warm hug. It had a welcoming taste. I can't even explain it fully. The texture was phenomenal. It was like a cornbread and a roll put together. Artichoke fritters- This dish surprised me. I didn't expect to like it so much. It was fried to perfection and flavorful. I honestly didn't need the sauce . Meatballs- The meatballs were the best I've had in my life. They were covered in a well prepared sauce. Entrée: Snapper with pesto pasta- My snapper was very flavorful. The only downfall of the snapper was the size. For the price, I expected a whole snapper. The pasta was good, but I'm not a huge fan of pasta. I also ordered brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were cooked very well. Dessert: Biscoff and almond gelato - This was a perfect ending to to a wonderful meal. The gelato flavors change often. I will definitely go again!

Our sharables were the Grilled Chimichurri Avacado which comes with a half avocado, corn, and tortilla chips, and the Hummus Board which comes with hummus, veggies, and pitas. Both of these sharables were tasty in different ways. The Grilled Chimichurri Avacado was delicious. You could taste all of the delicious flavors and the tortilla chips were strong enough to hold a mix of the ingredients. The Hummus Board was also very tasty. The Hummus was garlic flavored and the veggies were fresh and crisp. The pitas were warm and soft. For my main dish I ordered the Driftwood Cheeseburger. It comes with a beef patty, bacon jam, onions, pickles, sauce, and cheese. I opted for no cheese. The burger meat was really good. You could taste the Smokey flavor from the grill on the meat. The bacon jam was sweet but not overly sweet and gave the burger a sweet and savory flavor. The pickles added texture to the burger. It was a really good burger. Also tonight we were asked to move to a different table as they didn't prepare for a Harry Potter event ahead of time just as we settled in after a rough day (and our young pup finally chilled out). What I like about small vineyards is they have the freedom to experiment and create a variety of wines and blends using different varieties and winemaking styles. This innovation leads to fresh and evolving tasting experiences that keep wine interesting, exciting, and perhaps most importantly, personal. Small vineyards also focus on quality and sustainable farming, and produce smaller quantities of wine. This locally owned small vineyard has bold reds and crisp whites and breathtaking views at sunset. For my partner, I purchased a bottle of the 2019 Mourvèdre. This vino is smokey and bold with cholocatre undertones. This vino will pair well with steak and other red meats. While I am not a fan of reds, the quality and legs on this vino is undeniable. I purchased a glass of 2021 Barrel Aged Trebbiano which was reminiscent of a Cabernet Sauvignon blanc. Cabernet Blanc wines have a flavor profile that's similar to a mix of Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. They can be dry, but some are made to be slightly sweet. This Trebbiano was more dry that sweet which I adore. Aside from the vinos, the sunset views when sitting on the deck are stunning. My partner and I sat and watched the sun go down with glasses in hand. The vino coupled with the views made this outing magical.
