Nice place, great view of the Deschutes valley. Helped me find a nice bottle of Pinot Gris to serve with seafood.

Cute little restaurant overlooking Capitol Lake, great for a date night or special occasion. This…read moreis a house converted into a cozy upscale dining spot. It was cold the day went but, if you get warm weather, try for their outdoor patio. I ordered the lemon rosemary hummus (delish) with gluten free crackers and it came out with lots of sliced veggies, olives and pickled carrots and onions. A great value! My main course was king salmon and it was perfect. I ordered a lemonade and was disappointed that the tall skinny glass it was served in was full to the top with ice, so there was very little left to drink. My husband enjoyed the Cesar salad he ordered, tasted like a traditional Cesar. He tried the special beef cheeks and found them to be very fatty and gelatinous. He wouldn't recommend them. They did have a N/A beer option he was happy about. Service was attentive and friendly.

The staff were very friendly but I didn't feel that this was as amazing as other reviewers say…read more We came as a party of 5 and ordered a variety of different dishes. The food was definitely fresh and tasted good, but nothing to rave about in comparison to the price. When the weather is nice, their outdoor seating seems like a nice dining experience. We sat indoors and it was an intimate atmosphere. Parking is only street parking so prepare for that.

Waffles are better than pancakes. Came for weekend lunch and there was a 30 min wait for 2. We just…read morewalked around the city while we waited since they use text notifications for the waitlist. The inside is cozy but also pretty large. There was live music playing when we were there which was super vibey. They have a little corner in the back that has clothes and stuff for sale, and a little video of bob ross projected onto the wall. I really liked the ambiance. Service was super warm and friendly. The "Seattle freeze" is definitely just a Seattle thing haha. I ordered the turkey pesto waffle sandwich with a side of loaded baked potato hash browns. The sandwich was not bad. I thought it was a bit on the drier side and could've use more pesto, but still good flavor. The waffle is gluten free but I really couldn't tell. It's also a bit sweet, which made me wish I got a sweet waffle. The hash brown was definitely the star. The top and sides were crispy, and loaded potato flavors really came through. Loved the fresh chives and sour cream. Overall, really solid spot! Now I want a sweet waffle haha

I got the smoked salmon one and I was also skeptical of the hot tomato on it, but it turned out to go nicely with the salmon and waffle. A few people I went with got salads and those looked excellent and fresh too. The downsides were that it was pricey lunch in that there wasn't really a meal under $24 on the menu. Some of the sweet waffles that I would personally consider more of a snack were a little less though. And nothing came with a side I would expect, like hash browns with a breakfast dish for example. Also there were no inherently vegan options other than sides (you could order a salad without the cheese and bacon though). It was fun to try with a group but probably not somewhere I'd go again unless others really wanted to, but I could see it being a more frequent spot if you love waffles and are gluten free. Overall fine, great service, cute space!

Such a great place to stop and enjoy beer or beer tasting!…read more They offer flights of 4 from the on tap selection which changes frequently depending on the season. There's so much seating in front, inside at the bar, inside at the nook rooms (it's a house converted to a tap room), as well are more outside seating on the side and in the back! The barstools are lovely and heavy. So sturdy and comfortable for being iron and wood. The service is always friendly and welcoming, offering suggestions and will go out of their way to try and locate a beer if you were looking for something specific (they may just have more in stock in their storage area so don't be afraid to ask if you want a beer that you don't see in the coolers for can/bottle purchase). This is just a great place to relax and enjoy! There's food trucks next door but I'm not sure what their hours are. I was there Sunday in the afternoon and the food trucks were closed. But you can bring in outside food anyway and don't have to rely on just those trucks.
