I want to call out the one star review by Melody P. I was at the winery when this occurred and witnessed the full incident, and I urge you to not judge this winery or its owner based on her review. To be clear, I have been coming to Endless Sound since shortly after it opened and am a wine club member. I was at the winery with friends this evening when I watched this unfold. Melody came in with a man and small child and was told to take a seat. Mark (the owner) was single-handedly managing 20-25 people while preparing for the wine and cheesecake pairing. Shortly after sitting down, Melody got up and went to the counter where she proceeded to verbally accost Mark at a high enough volume where she could be heard throughout the space. She did not allow Mark the chance to respond to her, nor did she ever try to engage with him in a less confrontational manner. After sitting, she sat and waited. She never tried to flag him down. Instead, she went straight to a verbal altercation with a raised voice, in which she made an absolute scene and embarrassed herself. She immediately ran to Yelp and left this review. Frankly, she should be ashamed. To call Mark a racist is also deeply problematic to me. As someone who has been coming to this winery since shortly after it opened, I have never once seen Mark treat anyone with something less than absolute respect and kindness. Melody's accusation has malicious intent, and frankly, maybe she was having a bad day, but Mark is a phenomenal human and welcoming to all. For those of you looking for a real opinion, this is an incredible local spot with great wines, awesome ambiance, a ton of cool events, and a wonderful and knowledgeable winemaker. Pay Mark a visit, you won't be disappointed. read more

First I want to call out the only 1 star review where Mark is called out. We have been members and come to countless events and Mark is nothing but kind to EVERYONE. To imply anything different is simply unbelievable to anyone who knows him. When did people stop giving people the benefit of the doubt? And it's also a wine bar where he's alone, did it occur to go to the counter if he couldn't see you which is a serious possibility knowing the layout. I've been to Endless Sound Cellars multiple times and it is always great. I highly recommend the blind tasting events, which compare 6 of the same variety of wine. Its a fun way to explore and test your own pallet. The owner, Mark, is phenomenal at selecting the wines and explaining what makes each wine unique. read more

We came into Endless Sound Cellars as a party of 8 on Saturday at 1:30 PM. Their location is so convenient. You could park anywhere downtown and get here in no time. We came for a wine tasting, and we loved every minute of it. We were able to try 6 wines in our tasting, and we loved the range of flavors we were able to get from each one. Personally, I am not as well versed in wine, and I found it easy to distinguish between all of the reds they had. Mark was so nice-he was clearly passionate and invested in his wines and gave excellent descriptions of each pour. He even let us circle back to the ones we wanted to try again. He was a knowledgable and gracious host. My favorite was the Graciano-I liked the pepperiness of this wine, and couldn't leave without a bottle. I also learned that this grape is an uncommon one, especially in Washington! Shout out to the art that they sell and feature in their tasting room-there were some excellent pieces of art for sale, and I could see becoming a regular for that in addition to the wine. This was the best tasting experience I have had so far. If you are still in doubt, PLEASE come. You won't be disappointed. read more

Went here for our anniversary Friday 2/28 and I ended up doing the tasting - my partner he does not drink so this was his gift to me and I loved it and left with a bottle of the Malbec which I am enjoying now! Very tasty and will be back for more! Mark was great and very knowledgeable read more

We were looking for something to do on a sunny afternoon walking around downtown Olympia and came across this tasting room. Did not have high expectations before entering, but was very pleasantly surprised. The owner/winemaker was super nice and took care to explain the stories behind his wines. There wasn't a wine that we didn't like and the ambiance added to the experience. Highly recommend and if we lived here would visit often. read more

Great new winery in downtown Olympia. The owner has a fantastic lineup starting with a Pinot Gris, ending with a bold Syrah. The wines are very nice, including a grape not seen in WA-the Graciano from Spain. All the wines are from the Yakima Valley. Definitely worth a tasting and a chill spot to just hang. read more

First of all this is a first class place to taste some local wine. Quaint little spot almost hidden behind the Bread Peddler. Super nice winemaker and the wines are good. My daughter in law and I enjoyed tasting all the selections. I normally don't trend towards the white wines, but this wine was very nice and purchased one bottle. First trip here. Greatly enjoyed the wines and talking "all things wine" with Mark. As another reviewer stated, there is a good range of varietals for almost any taste. I prefer reds, but found the Pinot Gris to be surprisingly pleasing--a bit crisp, wonderful "minerality", and a pleasant lingering fruit note. My particular favorites were the Cabernet Franc and Syrah. The fruit shines through with a solid body and wonderful tannin structure. Will defiantly go back and see how the vintages develop with Mark's obviously capable skills and love of wine! read more
