Tasty.
Chris G.

My wife and I finally discovered this place. We love the concept and enjoyed talking with the nice people behind the business, thanks Michael & Marla. We made it in on a night that they had a winery sharing their tasty offerings, I think it was a nice assortment of 6 different wines. There were plenty of people in the store enjoying the offerings. In our case we purchased a $25 bottle of wine which we enjoyed on the spot, before bringing the remainder next door for dinner at Gaetano's. The Wine Shoppe and the restaurant have an agreement, you will get charged only $8 cork fee if you purchase a bottle of wine. If you like wine and meeting people, this is a fun place, we will be back. Cheers to Michael & Marla for a fun night.

Unique and wonderfully flavored chocolate!

This adorable wine boutique shop is a true gem in Torrance! Lots of unique variety of wines to choose from and excellent service (they answer any and all questions about wine). Upon walking in, this shop is much bigger than I thought! They have a ton of cute gifts (like wine stoppers, home signs, and other quirky items) perfect for those wine lovers! When I went in, they had a ton of bags filled with bottles for the wine club members! Looks like a nice club to join if you're in the area! I did the wine tasting experience that they have for 15.00 for non club members and 10.00 for members on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 5-8pm. I was pleasantly surprised at how fun this experience was! The staff was helpful and the wines were all very tasty and unique in their flavor and mouth feel. They have a lovely area in the back where the vendor pours the wine and where all the snacks are laid out for eating (cheese, crackers, and dip). I'm a huge chocolate lover, so when I took part in this experience I bought one of their Taza chocolate bars in vanilla flavor (recommended by one of the staff) and it's flavor nicely complimented the wine. Overall, I really enjoyed this wine experience and this shop truly has so much to offer. If you're looking for a friendly and wonderfully priced wine tasting, this place is the place to go!

Two bottles of wine; a Sauvignon Blanc from Mexico and a Chenin Blanc from South America...courtesy gift wrapped

What a great find! This is a family owned wine shop and the nice gentleman helped me pick a couple of bottles of great wine for a gift since I know nothing about wine. $35 and he gift wrapped! They have a tasting room for Saturdays as well. Very happy I found this shop on Yelp.

Tasting area in pre covid era. July 2019

Great little wine shop, the owners mike and Marla are so nice, the entire staff is. Very welcoming and knowledgeable. Pre covid era they had wine tasting Thursday-Saturday, I'd go alone many times and I always had a good time mingling with the staff and patrons alike. They are partnered with a few good local restaurants where if you buy their wine, it has a sticker on the bottle and you don't pay corkage fee. My fave is going to Gaetanos the Italian Resturant right next door after a wine tasting. I joined the wine club and I get a red and white (or double red or white depending on your choice) every month, and the wines are thoughtfully picked out by mike and Marla. They had a tough year starting with a major flood last winter 2019 and now covid 19. But they are still great and cheerful and helpful when you walk in and will help you with your wine picks...

2016 John Alen zinfandel... took it on our cruise and it was wonderful. Thank you for the recommendation.

This place hits the trifecta. The beer selection is incredible with a style for everyone, but what…read morereally blew me away was the customer service. The staff was incredibly welcoming (Especially Matt) , knowledgeable, and more than happy to offer recommendations based on what we usually like. On top of that, the food is way beyond your standard greasy pub grub--everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the drinks. It's officially our new go-to spot. Can't wait to come back! PLEASE DONT LISTEN TO THESE TRASH REVIEWS.

My family and I have come to this brewery many times to celebrate birthdays and special occasions…read more Unfortunately, over the past couple visits, I've noticed the customer service has steadily declined. It feels like the staff is more concerned with getting out exactly at closing time than making guests feel welcomed and valued. Our last visit on 06/25/2026 was, by far, the worst experience we've ever had here. We were celebrating my stepdaughter's birthday with a large group. As closing time approached, one of our family members still had a nearly full beer. Without any warning or politely letting us know it was time to finish up, a tall white male employee (who refused to provide his name when asked) simply walked up and took the beer off the table. What made it even more frustrating was that there were other tables around us with guests who also had drinks, yet our party was the only one singled out. To make matters worse, we had brought a birthday cake to celebrate. We politely asked another short female employee for a few plastic plates and utensils so we could cut the cake before leaving. We were told no because they were closing. This has never been an issue during our previous birthday celebrations here. These were disposable plastic plates and utensils that would have gone straight into the trash, so refusing such a simple request came across as pure unwillingness to provide basic customer service. I spent 10 years working in the food and hospitality industry before starting my current career, so I understand exactly what closing a restaurant or brewery entails. I know employees want to leave on time, but I also know that providing good customer service until the last guest leaves is part of the job. If customers need to wrap things up, there is a respectful way to communicate that. You don't take someone's drink without warning, and you don't refuse a simple request that would have taken less than a minute. Everyone in our party left upset and disappointed. It was honestly embarrassing to watch employees treat loyal customers this way. This brewery used to be our go-to place for birthdays, but after this experience, we will not be returning. I rarely write negative reviews because I understand everyone has bad days. However, this experience was unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses the lack of hospitality and provides better customer service training, because the employees working that evening did not represent the level of service that keeps loyal customers coming back. Both the female worker with tattoos and piercings and the tall male were extremely rude when confronted. If you choose to visit, just be aware that if you're there close to closing time, your experience may depend more on how quickly the staff wants to leave than on making you feel like a valued guest.
