My friend and I stopped by because we heard good things about the fresh deli sandwiches they make. The location is pretty spacious as it has seating indoor and outdoor. They have a bar inside so you can sample and order some of their brews. The staff were helpful and nice and accommodating for a first time visitor I ordered the chicken club with chicken, Swiss on sweet wheat bread. The sandwich comes with turkey, lettuce, tomato, bacon and mayo. You're able to customize and modify anything you like. The sandwich was fresh, flavorful and filling. Stopped by for a tub o tuna, cause I love me some tuuuuuuuuna. I walk up, cashier says nothing. I literally asked how are you and she didn't reply.... Anyways I order my tub o tuna for dine in and go sit down. Service was VERY fast, I even told the girl that it was really fast, like I had just ordered ... ignored again LOL The sandwich was lacking flavor for sure. It felt pretty bland. I liked the choice of bread, reminds me of the one I get from the grocery store. The tuna itself didn't have salt or much seasoning to enhance a flavor profile. It's def a healthy serving for $13. I usually only eat half and save the other half for another time. But I can see how it could be finished in one sitting, cause I so happened this time around. It was a decent experience. Customer service was friendly. They took nearly the amount of time to create my sandwich as i was told it would be from the cashier. I ordered their Left Coast Pastrami and it was definitely a hitter of a sandwich but it fell short from another pastrami sandwich I ordered at a different specialty sandwich shop I tried the fast before. Price value was higher than what I would've liked to spend on a sandwich and that's including with tip. The atmosphere of this place is lively. They have a spacious interior. Happy Hour is lacking. The food here is tasty and I've tried their Del Mar location as well which I kind of liked a bit more not going to lie, just because it seemed like the portions in the sandwiches were more packed. I ordered the same thing as I always do a tuna sandwich but sub gluten free tortilla but this time it was kind of tiny :(. The taste did make up for it so no complaints on that. The workers are really friendly and I like their decorations and the kind of beachy/ skater vibe inside, definitely did a great job on decoratingg their store I love all the colors! I think next time I'll definitely make sure to ask for extra on the portion in my sandwich and that'll be a quick fix on my only issue . read more

One of my favorite lunch spots. I always go for the French dip sandwich with Maui onion chips. This visit I tried the project X IPA beer with my meal as recommended by the staff. The beer did not disappoint. It was all so good. My son had the kids grilled cheese that was SO good! When pulling it apart the cheddar cheese just oozed out. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat while in the neighborhood. Counter service and they bring the food to your table. The service was friendly and quick while having fresh ingredients. Highly recommend getting a Sando that has special sauce. It's not quite Thousand Island and tasty. Tables inside, outside, good for small groups and 8 chairs if you want to "belly up" to the bar. I've been two an Orange County location and our Torrance location and love the consistent beach vibe at both locations and most of all, love the delicious sandwiches. The service is always happy and friendly and the lively (but not noisy) atmosphere is great. We've tried their Tub o' Tuna (older son's fave), their Turkey Club, Italian Sub and Tom's Choice. When they first opened it was lots of chicken, thick cut and slowly but surely over the months it became thinner and thinner until what we got today. It's sad, this is not the only time. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty packed. When you order they give you a number and bring the food to your table. Super easy no fuss. The vibe is very chill, surf, skateboard, SoCal casual, and I'm here for it. They have a bunch of beer on draft, which is cool, but I wasn't ready to start drinking that early in the day. My husband ordered the beef dip, its basically roast beef with cheese on a baguette, served with au jus for dipping. We also asked for a side of horseradish, and let me tell you, the horseradish was horseradishing. I got the left coast pastrami, which was pastrami with onions, banana peppers on a baguette. It was cut in half and a good size so me and hubby ended up swapping halves. Regretted it immediately because mine was WAY better! The pastrami had great flavor, wasn't dry or soggy, and all the ingredients just worked well together. As for the beef dip, my husband liked it, but I didn't, I just don't like soggy bread so dipping in the au jus just wasn't for me. But if your into that you might like it. They also give you a dirty sauce on the side, it was sweet and personally I think the sandwiches are better without it. read more

The Baja Beef is one of the better sandwiches I've had. I wish there was a bit more meat, but the ratio works with the onions, peppers, and bread. Great flavor, and the secret sauce makes it pop. I would come back here just for this. Chicken club was good but nothing special. Beef dip is average at best. Meat was pretty dry and bland. The au jus was good and very necessary to make the sandwich work. I get the vibe that they have a couple sandwiches on the menu that knock it out of the park, and the rest are just average. But the staff is friendly and attentive, prices are fair, the atmosphere is good, and there are plenty of beer options. Kids can run around and play Lord of the Flies with the kid collective over on the turf play zone. Overall, this place gets it done and worth the stop. Just don't expect true greatness. read more

The special sauce reminds me of an orange dressing that was used on a Quiznos sub. It's a bit sweet like a French dressing. You can order online which makes it easier for multiple orders. We finally got around to trying the new Board & Brew where Marie Callendar's used to be. I would compare it to a Jimmy John's but with Craft beer. Sandwiches were tasty, beer selection was good. They even have specials during certain games. I not so certain about the bar situation, kind of odd for a small sandwich shop but to each their own. I ordered the Italian sandwich and it was seriously one of the best I've had--fresh ingredients, perfect balance of flavors, and that sauce really puts it over the top. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with other eateries so it was hard not to be tempted to go to the other ones because everything looked yummy for my tummy.
