Lol, I have fun with the name but can't deny, Brouwerij West makes SOLID beers! LOVE Bounce, their West Coat IPA! Picnic Lightning (hazy) IPA is a winner! Dig My Earth (hazy) IIPA is excellent! And of course, Popfuji is a standard. A huge space to chill, food trucks, easy access to pee and wash your hands with KILLER brews makes Brou-whatever a 5 star establishment!
This brewery has great vibes! They usually have a seasonal photo setup where customers can take free pictures in front of. But because it's so huge and open, it's always really cold in there. Their service is fast. Their taps are great as well. The only complaint I have is that their michelada wasn't not very good. Their chamoy tasted like pure tamarindo with zero sugar.
We didn't stay long. I enjoyed the drinks and the open space. I will return if in the area. The Paloma slushy was great!
What a great space! Plenty of seating, clean, and cozy! Had an amazing time watching the Dodger game and trying their Halloween-inspired drinks. The la vampira seltzer was okay but fun for the season. Can't go wrong with their Paloma.
Plenty of free parking in the lots. Great selection of beers. Staff was friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced. Ordered the piña colada slushie. Really really tasty. Nice flavoring, perfect amount of slush. Highly recommend.

Next door is another warehouse with crafts and stuff to buy. Can't wait to come back!
Found this place by chance today when I was in San Pedro. His place is great, very spacious. Big screen tv to watch the dodger game on and live music on Sundays. They have bbq and a spacious outside with plenty of tables and shade. They have a huge beer selection at about $7-$8 a glass. This place seems very popular because it's quite busy but there are plenty of people working the counter and got through the line quickly. Parking is easy they have a huge lot that they share. I'm not in San Pedro often but when I do come back I will come back and try this place again.
Awesome lively large and accessible space. Huge tables that are great for bringing in a family event (I see a family celebrating a baby shower next to us and they have about 18 people able to sit together. East lot parking. Karaoke on Thursday nights and fun events happening on the weekend. Food trucks out front if you are hungry. Good service and fast. Visited on a Saturday at 2pm and it wasn't too busy. I saw they have dancing. Hurray!
good spot for big groups and welcoming to all ages! the beer selections were great and i'm glad that they had some food truck options available as well. i don't love the distance from the bar to the outdoor area, but the pace is just so huge that im sure they might not be able to control that. anyway great spot and i'll be stopping by again !
Tried beer flight $15 and it was worth trying. Open seating with cute merch. Cashmere Spacesuit ? Was my favorite. It is a lager but has very interesting unique taste. Wanted to get canned ones but couldn't find them ;/ definitely going back for that one.
Very cute & very friendly service. The frozen drink is amazing and tons of beer on tap to try! There are also tons of food trucks on site, wetzle's pretzels & a smokey bbq truck in particular today.
Came here for Crafted at Port of Los Angeles but I saw this place too. So I checked out this place before it opened up. They were open early to host the FIFA games. Here was my experience: AMBIANCE: Parking: Plenty of parking. The spot was an old space for old storage warehouses. Now that it is a brewery and arts and crafts place so you really shouldn't have issues with parking. Seating: The place itself is pretty cool outdoor patio seating and inside seating as well. Room for plenty of people over 100 people. Feels: The location is like no other, it's close to a renovated dock, warehouse, and park. It took me a while to find the place so keep your eyes peeled. Inside is pretty spacious with night hanging lights, a huge projector for a tv, and plenty of seating. They're very active and creative with events from game night, sports night, karaoke, and DJ nights. They also have a few food trucks too. If you need to reserve for company events, they got you! BREWS: Pina Colada Hard Seltzer (Recommend) Excellent! You certainly can taste the pineapple and coconut kick to it. This was a pretty fun drink. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! Friendly and knowledgeable people. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. This is a pretty cool place! I dig it! Great choices, plenty of seating, and a nice vibe. (Note: Rating is not based on the craft beer) Love this place and the vibe. Came here to see my friends' band and the whole set-up was very really organized. There was a long line that went by quickly and efficiently. My friend bought a table outside and it was nice to be able to leave our belongings there and sit down. It was in an upper separate area with a guard which was an extra bonus. I had a slushy drink and it was perfect (strong too)! There were a few great food trucks as well. The place inside the warehouse and the outside area was huge and able to accommodate a very large crowd. Would definitely come back. read more

Been wanting to come try this place and finally came with a group of friends * great amount of parking * great outdoor seating * great location The brouwerji west literally only have beer + alcohol + bottled/can drinks + some ice cream selection. I personally was hoping they would have some food options or at least some non-alcoholic beverages other than cans of Coke and Fanta. The outdoor had one food truck and one bbq truck / stand. By the time we arrived in the evening around 5:30... the bbq truck was packing up and leaving so the only food option was the food truck. It was a Mediterranean food truck with French fries and shawarmas ... our party had about 7 kids and ... our experience there was pretty not kid friendly. There were barely anything for them to eat or drink other than French fries. Was hoping they had more options and choices for families. It was still a fun experience for us to hang out but .... If we came again we would need to bring our own food and snacks for the kids. read more

We were invited by friends to a Metalachi concert. This was our first time at the Brouwerij and we were surprised on how large this brewery is. It's near the ports o call. From what I learned is that most concerts take place outside but this time, this event was held inside. Multiple picnic tables and a couple of lunch trucks available outside. Plenty of parking next to the building. Service was great. read more

What a dope spot! Delicious IPA (was $5 on their rotating draft specials) and we also got their amazing blackberry saison and a double IPA to go. Both of these were delicious and we got to try quite a few things as well! They have 6.5% alc seltzers with various flavors and they don't taste fake at all. Good fruit flavor comes out and they're not weak either. HUGE indoor and outdoor space so bring yo friends! read more
Love this place! Great beer, great service, and great ambiance. Plenty of seating and they have food truck(s) and non-alcoholic options available. Next door is this awesome place full of local artists and artisan products. Wish it was easier to get there on public transportation but walking in the area from one of the nearby stops is a nice jaunt. I can't wait to go back. read more

One of our favorite places in town, there are very few places like his in the area. Set in a historic warehouse, large space with outdoor area. Very family oriented and dog friendly, the staff is great! And of course a great selection of beers! read more

Another California brewery adventure which this fine state often produces some very fine craft beer! Brouwerij West is no exception to this. I got a very good pilsner from this brewery, the Popfuji. This pilsner was clean, crisp and had a nice sweet flavor to it. All the great characteristics an excellent pilsner should have. Very good beer that Steve and I enjoyed! With such a good beginning for beer with Brouwerij West I would love to try some more of their beers as they look so very promising! Fun t shirts and hoodies as well! In fact I can see myself doing another purchase in their online store with a few things that caught my eye today.... :) read more
A really fantastic brewery! Probably one of my favorites in the LA area. It's down in San Pedro area across the bridge from Long Beach and is right next to the Crafted marketplace, which is a great place to visit afterwards for clothes, food, unique gifts, and othee craft items. The brewery is huge with special events every now and then and they good food trucks that are here too. The beer is really good and they have an excellent array of brews. You'll definitely find something you'll like here! They also have some brewery goodies for purchase as well! Very fun and cute items for sale here too. Super cool brewery and market area. Got here shortly after opening on a Saturday and it became increasingly busy quickly. They have a contactless menu and you order directly on your phone and someone brings them out quite quickly and they have a good range of options from Seltzers to IPAs. I had tried some of their items before because Trader Joe's carried them, but it was nice to have the whole experience here. I am not normally in the San Pedro area, but I would make the trip out again to have some drinks here. Cool vibes, plenty of parking and seating, and unique stands in the market. Also, you can bring your dog saw some super cute pups which was also a perk haha *something to keep in mind is you must show proof of vaccination if you want to sit inside* read more
I love that we have this local brewery in our neighborhood! We can even ride our bikes from the house because it's so close. There have a huge space and it does get really lively during the weekend because of live music and food trucks. Excellent for large groups and families. I've only tried a few of their beers but looking forward to eventually figuring out my favorite brew. read more
Came here on a whim since we were in the area! It's super cute and tucked away! They have an awesome selection of craft brews! And that's what makes getting a flight even better! There wasn't a beer that I didn't like! (They also have free stickers at the bar, if that's your jam!) The bar itself does not offer food, but outdoors there were a couple of food trucks to help with your munchies! These trucks had burgers and pizza, pretty standard "bar" type food. Location: An old wharf warehouse in Pedro. Sort of not near anything, but that's fine. Parking is free and you will never run out of spaces, so there's no stress. Seating: Seating at a same Bar but lots and lots of community table/benches. You will never have to stand There's also tables outside if you want fresh air Ambiance: Amazing! The coolest interior. The staff are also super friendly. Food: Like most similar establishments, they bring in food trucks. I could find a schedule for who is there when, so for me it's always a crap shoot. Like anything, the trucks vary Beer Yes, I waited until last for this. Of course, they have the usual selection of IPA but ...take a clue by the name of the place... their raison d'etre are Belgian styles. When in Rome...er... Brussels. They make excellent Belgian style beer. Few places do because it's hard. Any mouth breather can over hop a beer and call it a special IPA. My husband and I visited here for the first time and were really impressed. They offer a great variety of beers, and as a fan of seltzers, I was pleased with their selection. The slushy is fantastic but definitely packs a punch. The range of food trucks on site provided delicious meals and desserts. The service was excellent, and the staff gave wonderful recommendations once we shared what we were looking for. It's a family-friendly spot; we even brought our dog, who enjoyed it as much as we did. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

Can we bring any outside food? I was told it was ok by another friend who went.
Hi! Outside food is allowed but we do not allow coolers, platters, party trays/sternos, or anything large like that.
Do you have TVs/ sports coverage?
We have a projector with a large screen on one of our walls inside the taproom. We're able to show most sporting events but only one at a time.

Hi - no, as of today (August 25, 2020) still no on-site consumption is allowed per the LA County Department of Health Order at breweries that do not have their own kitchens, like us.
