We stop here once a month. It's the best Greek restaurant in the area. Our favorite lunch is the lamb Shawarma sandwich special ($15.99) with Greek salad and ice tea (5 star best). Enjoyed fast and friendly service on a Saturday night. When you walk in you are greeted and enjoy the smells of fresh Greek food. My wife had the hummus pita and I had the special with gyro pita and salad. The tzatziki was fresh and different than I have had at other places and I really enjoyed it, almost hints of mint or dill. Seemed like an authentic Greek atmosphere..small cafe..colorful I ordered my favorite...Detroit sytle coney island, coke...to start. Perhaps the worst coney I've had..ever. low grade bun, hot dog was cheap...beef...not sure where is was from. Worst was the the sauce....runny, filled with "a few pieces of meat, and onion" I immediately was disgusted. So I actually order the Greek lemon soup....just as bad...thin...runny . We have a craving for Spanakopita. Many Naples friends recommended Greek Island Café. We tried for an early dinner. This is a family operated restaurant. The owner greeted us warmly and staff is welcoming. I ordered the Spanakopita dinner with a Greek Salad, grilled vegetable and rice. Wife ordered a chicken wrap. You can smell the food as they prepare the order. The Greek salad was well prepared with fresh tomato, peppers, onions, cheese, chick peas and olive. The dressing has a lemon taste which is very refreshing! The Spanakopita's phyllo dough is very flaky and crispy with a comforting filling of spinach and feta cheese. The vegetable is grilled and steaming hot! This is one of my favorite Greek dishes. They are simply delicious and savory. Wife loves her chicken wrap. She wanted to try their Pastichio, Schwarma and Kofta on our next visit. This is a great casual place with friendly service and great food! read more

i really don't understand how this place gets decent reviews? Both my wife and I are Greek so we know authentic Greek food. The spanakopita was bland and the Greek salad only had a teaspoon of Feta cheese. We called the owner after our poor meal, didn't seem to care. We tried this cute little spot in Naples. The food is very fresh and good. We got the saganski, lemon soup, spinach pie dinner and a gyro with a red wine. Everything was very tasty and good portions. Our only complaint was the lack of service. We sat quite a while constantly throughout the meal. Waited for menus, waited for waters, waited to order and waited for drinks. Never checked on us and we needed several things during the meal. Could never get a worker. If they hire even one agile worker as a waits person, it would really help. We heard all the tables around, needing and pleading for things. Hire more, we will be back happily. read more

We walked in at 7:20 knowing they close at 8. There was only one other table dining. Waitress rolled her eyes when we asked to sit at a table that wasn't right next to them. We put our order in immediately. The waitress knew it was taking much longer for the food to come out than it should and said three time, just one more minute. The bechamel was so burned on both dishes that it was inedible. The waitress asked how the food was, so we told her not very good. She said, that's how we make it. My wife and I rented a house nearby while vacationing in FL, and we found this place while driving to the beach. I looked them up on Yelp and saw they had good reviews and pictures of the food looked good. We arrived on a Thursday as soon as they opened @ 11pm EST. I was warmly welcomed inside a few minutes early, and the lady who takes the orders was a genuinely kind and cheerful Greek woman. She was a pleasure to speak with during and after I placed my order. I gave my order to go: 2 gyros, side of fries, pirogies, and a chicken kabob. Everything was made fresh, and when we ate it, it was delicious! See pics for reference. The food was excellent. I ordered a gyro, and it was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly made. Unfortunately, the customer service didn't match the quality of the food. The ladies at the front seemed uninterested and had no personality, which made the experience feel less welcoming. What a find! One of the best falafel pitas I have ever had for lunch. Had to come back the following week just to confirm...... Yes, confirmed! lol. Ingredients are so fresh. Falafel with the sesame seeds is a must! Tasty coleslaw too, and good french fries. This will be my new regular stop for lunch. Tough not giving this place a 5 but I was overly impressed with so much. This place has "regular weekly visit" written all over it for me. It's just a quick bike ride away from my doorstep. I stopped in today on my way to the park. It's bright. Clean and welcoming as you walk in. It's a nice open space, makes you feel good about eating at a place that seems so clean. I was highly tempted to get the Italian beef since it proclaimed to be Chicago Style but knowing the extremely high standards I have for Chicago Italian beef sandwiches (the undoubted Elvis of Beef sandwiches, of course Michael Jackson being brisket of course since he's from the Midwest and is saucy af) I didn't get that and chose to get their house speciality the gyro. I rarely pay my own back for good decisions but I literally reached over and patted myself on the back and danced a bit as a took my first huge bite. It was exceedingly good. Pita, gyro meat, onions, tomato, tzatziki... I like how well the pita was toasted, how the onion and tomato was seasoned, the sauce was masterfully blended as the small things like the onion being so finely sliced, it helps get the flavor in the bite without overpowering the bite. The server was wonderful and filled my water consistently and was overall pleasant. I enjoyed this so much and I always get a little excited when I find a good spot nearby. Started off with an appetizer Greek Trio, which was dolmadakia (rice and spices wrapped in grape leaves), hummus and tzatziki served with warm pita bread. Then, tried the Lamb Shaw Erma, (lamb with grilled onions and grilled tomatoes, with spices topped with a sesame tahini sauce, all wrapped in a grilled pita. (Choice of spicy, mild or regular).
