I was already wrestling with the idea of purchasing a new car, but my Hyundai Santa Fe drinks a lot…read moreof gas for me to justify keeping an SUV as a daily driver with current gas prices and the amount of driving I do as well as mileage I put on my vehicles during the school/work week. Having rented a VW Passat recently, I fell in love with VW quality, handling and overall value. After prequalifying with Capital One via Auto Navigator (3/19), I took a couple days to research and do a bit of online browsing and found myself at the certified pre-owned section of Jim Ellis Volkswagen. I settled on a few possible winners and headed up on Tuesday, 3/22. The drive from the city to Chamblee wasn't the shortest, but definitely worth it as I was able to make a same day purchase. I walked in expecting to be bombarded by sleazy car salesman, but I was actually approached by a very friendly and warm saleswoman by the name of Jessica Atkins. Not only did she take the time to walk me through the showroom, but she also sat me down to listen to my needs and preferred price range to come up with a few suitors. We looked at pre-owned models, but I quickly abandoned that plan after I looked at the options in the showroom and smelt the new car smell and got an idea of just how nice the newer VWs are. We test drove the Toas and a Jetta SE, which was my favorite! We also looked at a few other Jetta's (R-Line, SEL and another SE) and Toas models, but as I am hella indecisive, I knew the SE would be a perfect fit! I arrived around 3:30 and left by 6pm with my registration and keys in hand! Nelson in finance was also great as he was able to shop the loan for an interest rate well below what Capital One offered and for $0 down (if I so chose, but I wanted lower monthly payments so I opted to put money down). If you're looking for a new car, please consider Jim Ellis VW as I walked in extremely hesitant, but walked out with a HUGE SMILE!

Unfortunately, my experience with Jim Ellis Audi Marietta trying to move into a new lease has been extremely disappointing. After reaching out about a trade in and loyalty offer, I dealt with long stretches of silence whenever I asked follow up questions on pricing. When I finally connected with a salesperson, I was offered a base model Q5 with fewer features than my current vehicle, even with all incentives applied, and was told I might be better off just keeping my current lease until it ends. I escalated this to the General Manager and to Jim Ellis Automotive Group leadership directly and still did not receive a meaningful response. When things were getting out of hand, I decided to reach out to the executive team at Jim Ellis since they own Audi Marietta. They never responded via email or even called to offer any clarity or apology. Yes, this included Wesley Ellis and Stacey Hodges Ellis on the correspondence. As a current Audi customer, I expected loyalty and communication to go both ways. Instead, I felt like an afterthought throughout this process. I had hoped to share a positive experience upgrading my lease, and instead I am left writing this review. I would encourage Audi shoppers to consider other dealerships and be cautious about the level of follow up you can expect here.

I would like to express my disappointment with my recent experience at this dealership…read more Initially, I was assured that the vehicle I purchased would be thoroughly detailed; unfortunately, this did not occur, and the car was delivered in an unsatisfactory, filthy condition. As a result, I had to hire an external company to detail the vehicle because it was unacceptable. I will be sharing images to illustrate this issue. Additionally, I was expecting a follow-up call from the service manager, Kristen King, but I never received any communication from her. I chose this dealership based on their advertised commitment to customer service, but my experience has not reflected that standard. The service advisor, Ron, who was assigned to my vehicle, also failed to respond to my inquiries regarding the work performed on my car. I was promised a return call that I have yet to receive. Overall, my experience has been far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this dealership based on the lack of follow-through and consideration for customers.

The people are generally friendly and have always been on time for me. I do think they charge a bit more for replacements if needed, but don't feel the prices are too high or that they are trying to replace what is not needed. They send video evidence of what they are trying to replace too, and confirm with you before doing. Cannot vouch for other services but have been enjoying my half yearly maintenance here!

Well…read morecome on in and we will pretend it never existed, then try to get all your money with some inferior crap. Thats Frank, as soon as he saw a Black dude walk in, coming out of an Uber. I saw a vehicle online, checked website prices, came here and Frank wanted to play games rather than sell me a damn car. He started telling lies about the prices, shamelessly engaging in bait and switch. He tells me the prices on his website "are not true" and attempts to hose me for another $2000.00 on a vehicle with a "rebuilt engine" - not disclosed until I got there. He seems to be happy with a lot full of unsold cars, lying and jacking up prices. I told him bluebook price and he says a rebuilt engine is $2000.00 as if that justifies jacking the price. There must have been issues he was hiding - but thats a cost Im not willing to absorb. Must be crazy. Frank doesnt care if he is wasting your time. The interior of the car was ragged, but I could have fixed that - but plopping $2000.00 extra on a vehicle he was trying to get high bluebook for already??? Hell no! That car has been sitting there and wil continue to sit there as long as Frank wants to shit on people and tell them its chocolate. Its a 2008 Ford Expedition thats very used. Hes trying to get 8000.00 for it! What a nut! My money isnt good enough for Frank. He blew me off before even seeing my finances. I just got up and left at that point.

She asked me if I had any questions, so I asked her for the VIN to give to the mechanic; she said she would text it to me, but I received no text by the end of the day. I checked my email, and found one from someone named Muhammad telling me to call them; I realized they were closed, so I checked the Car Fax. It had no history of accidents, so I ordered the inspection; the next day, the mechanic called to tell me that he could not test drive the car because it needed a transmission. He added that she said that she told me that it needed a transmission, which he knew was a lie; therefore, he credited half his fee to a future inspection. If they would lie to a mechanic, imagine what lies they would tell the layman; I can not recommend this car dealer...
