We ate at Wing Cave this evening. This is now one of our favorite restaurants. My wife ordered the dry rub wings, I had the hot wings and daughter had chicken strips. The wings were great! We also had onion rings. Very tasty. Also, the owner came by numerous times to check on us and see if we needed anything. There are numerous big screen TVs for watching sports situated throughout the restaurant. This has become our favorite wing stop and we will be regulars at this restaurant. read more

This place looked like it might have potential for a great wing place. There was all sorts of broncos paraphernalia and cool sports stuff on the walls like a good hole in the wall place should have. The lobby was a little aged and dirty but the staff was nice. Unfortunately the wings where fried to jerky level 10! The sauces were ehhh just OK, kinda non original and lacking real flavor. I ordered the hot and special raging Cajun the kids ordered teriyaki and BBQ the Cajon sauce was so salty and the kids said theirs tasted like like cheap store bought sauce. I really like this place. I haven't had the wings yet. I get the cheeseburger combo meal on my lunch hour. The burger is really tasty. I like the buns. The fries are delicious. Generally, I pick up my order and go back into work (I'm in the offices above the restaurant). The staff has always been nice and it really doesn't take very long for my food to be ready. Five to seven minutes tops, so I watch the numerous TVs while I wait. I'd give the place five stars if it wasn't for the sticky floor and the small cups. Otherwise, I have no problem with anything here. Maybe one day I'll try the wings. :) read more

I was an original fan of Woody's Wings (not wingman). I was really hesitant to go, but I'm always open to helping local business. When I walked in there was a decent line of people for lunch. The choices were like every wing place. They have a decent sides menu, and a very good lunch combo. I ordered the 15 boneless lunch combo (fries and a drink) with there hot. Was it hot? No, it was very nice heat with a vinegar bite at the end. I loved the sauce, and especially the fries!! Unlike what Vince thought I didn't think I was eating chemical disinfectant... I definitely love The Wing Cave. I try and go as often as I can. I usually get boneless and my favorite flavors are the garlic parm, dry rub and lemon pepper, and they just started doing a new flavor of the month. They have a wide variety of side items I definitely plan on trying a little bit of everything. The eating area is huge lots of space and I love their new bar. They just started serving alcohol, nothing better than a cold beer with some wings while watching my favorite sports team on their many flat screen TV's. The owners are really nice people. I went here for two things. Wings hot enough to start fires on the way back out, and beer to compliment it. These guys did not disappoint (but no tap). And if you don't like spicy wings, I noticed they have a huge selection of flavors (ones I've never seen before) but I haven't tried those so I'm not sure if they're good or not. The bf and I got FOOD POISONING! Should have known by the horrible fishy/old smell of the restaurant. I picked up the wings and when I brought them home most of the meat on the wings was as hard as the bone and completely inedible...disgusting! Total disappointment!! Been going to this place for at least a couple of years now and the wings have gotten better over time, same customer service which isn't all that great. Tonight we placed a 40 wing order to go and they said it would be 15 minutes. We arrived 20 minutes later and our order still wasn't ready. Then after ringing us up and paying our bill they reconfirmed our order - wing count and sauces - then reconfirmed it was a to go order. We waited 20 more minutes for our order to be done. So all in all it took them 35 minutes. If they were so disorganized and behind they should've told us originally 30-45 minute wait and not guarantee a time when the order wouldn't be ready. TO TOP THIS OFF we asked the owner if we could get a discount on our next order, something like 10%, and she responded FOR THE 10 MINUTES YOU HAD TO WAIT, SURE, I GUESS. Wow!! Big and Juicy By Alma Gonzalez Who doesn't love hot wings? If you love 'em, you should go to The Wing Cave and Grill in Northglenn, Colorado. The best place I have gone so far; I am in love with wings! I seriously would eat them every day if I could. The Wing Cave and Grill was formerly known as Wing Man. Even though I liked their old name better, the wings are still the best in Colorado. I miss it when it was called Wing Man; the name was shorter and sounded more unique. I loved the mascot they had as their logo, the red bird was always dressed in different sports outfits like soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey, and even tennis. The place was very colorful, small, and cozy. Now that they've changed the place, I just see it as being okay; I liked how colorful it was and now the interior is just green and white. The only thing that has remained the same are the seats, they kept the same chairs and booths. I have tried so many wings and the only places I would buy wings form would be The Wing Cave and Grill and Wing Stop. I am also really picky with wings, so I know what the best wings taste like--Big and juicy when you bite into the chicken but crispy on the outside--when it comes to eating it. Now most people like Buffalo Wild Wings; I don't like them at all. To me they weren't as good as The Wing Cave and Grill because theirs are smaller, have less sauce, less flavors on the wings, and they are not crispy at all. The only person in my family that isn't crazy about the wing as much as I would be my brother but he still thinks they are good he just not a meat lover. Walking in the wing restaurant, I always get the biggest smile on my face. The restaurant is always quiet, the workers are the nicest people, and ordering the wings is pretty easy. The Wing Cave and Grill is always clean and the bathrooms are very clean as well. I love going into the restaurant just the smell makes me want the wings even more. It smells like a Cajun smoke house. I went with my mom and dad, so we ordered 100 pieces of wings. We all like different wings so we ordered 30 Garlic and Parmesan Cheese, 10 Lemon Pepper, and 60 Hot. When we were walking to our seats, I saw 3 TV's. They had one set to the Nuggets game while we were waiting till the food came. It only took them 15 minutes to bring our food out. The owner brought over our food since they were not busy. As I ate my Lemon Pepper and some of the Garlic and Parmesan Cheese wings and slurped the Coca-Cola, the flavors were amazing--I felt like fireworks were going off in my mouth. The hot flaming sauce was burning; even the soda couldn't take the hotness away. My mom was even making fun of me because I was smiling while eating my wings. I've never loved any other food more than wings. Leaving The Wing Cave and Grill I was so full and sad at the same time knowing that I would have to wait to eat there again since I live far. Wow. This was my worst dining experience ever. Where to start? I placed an order for 18 wings, after being put on hold a total of 3 times. I was told they would be delivered in 1 hour and 15 minutes. An hour and 45 minutes later, the driver called, and told me she couldn't find my place, and said she was terrible with directions, and didn't know why they sent her on deliveries, which she seemed to find hilarious, laughing repeatedly. While trying to give her directions, she repeatedly interrupted me, and after 8 minutes on the phone, said she knew where she was going, and would be there in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, I called her back, and discovered that she had ignored my directions, and had gotten lost trying to follow her garmin gps which she was unable to do. I spent the next 10 minutes giving her turn by turn directions, having to repeatedly ask her not to interrupt me mid-sentence. 15 minutes later, she arrived at my door, laughing about how proud she felt of herself for having finally found the place. When asked if she was being serious, she said yes. She then presented me with a bag of wings that looked as though she had had them bouncing around in her trunk with sauce leaking everywhere. There was also a brown paper bag of dipping sauces that was soggy and leaking, and the wings were quite cold. Upon seeing this, we said we were not paying, and she then refused to leave the porch while we called the store (and were again put on hold for 10 minutes), at which point we were told that they were busy, and would call us back in an hour, at which point I said that I did not want this still laughing woman on my porch for an hour, at which point they said we could give back the wings, and they would issue a refund in "a couple days". An answer which I found unsatisfactory, since 2 and a half hours in, I was quite hungry, at which point I told them I would dispute any charge on the card, and would call the police if the driver did not leave the property, at which point I closed the door, and the driver finally left. I then discovered, in a painful manner that they had mislabeled the extra hot as spicy bbq, and vice versa. I expect this will make for an interesting morning tomorrow. I again called back, and demanded to speak to the manager, and was told she would call me in an hour. Two hours later, I called back, and spoke with the manager, who put me back on hold mid-conversation, but said she was refunding the entire cost of the order (although incredibly rude about it), and after providing the credit card info again, twice, she said she was issuing a refund, which would show up in a few days, and then hung up on me while I was attempting to respond to her. The one thing good I have to say about this place is the extra hot is indeed that. But it would be nice if they could learn the very basic skill of labeling a container of wings correctly, so that I would not have discovered this entirely by surprise. All in all, dismal experience fraught with incompetence, rudeness and a lack of even the most basic customer service skills on the part of every single employee who had any hand in dealing with a very simple order. I sincerely hope this awful establishment is soon out of business. You would be better off purchasing a meal at literally any other establishment, food service or otherwise. read more

We have replaced Buffalo Wild Wings with Wing Cave as our choice place to go for wings. The wings are very tasty, crispy and they are generous with the sauce. I called less than an hour before a Broncos game and our order was ready within the exact amount of time they said it would be and 100% accurate. The fries are awesome too! Wing Cave is one of those local joints that offers inconsistent levels of service, meaning - most times the person helping you could be mistaken for your best friend and other times it's like visiting your grumpy old relative's house that acts like you're an inconvenience but they are the ones that invited you over. I'm not excusing it, just saying this is what you can expect. Most of the time they are friendly, but I think they get a bit stressed out during the rush. I gave them four stars because overall they provide great food and good service and they are Broncos fans, so that earns them at least one extra star. GO BRONCOS! read more
