    Pho dac biet
    Andy H.

True authentic Vietnamese food + ambiance. Waiter speaks mostly Vietnamese save for enough English to take your order correctly and politely. Pho dac biet had all the trimmings and packed full of flavor. I enjoy the cold saute they give you on the side to dip with your hoisin and sriracha. For Westminster, it was pricey for being in a little strip mall if you ask me. I'd expect these prices in downtown Denver. If you're really craving pho and need to treat yourself in the area, this is the spot

The sign is extremely hard to see! It's covered by trees, but if I remember correctly it is located next to a pizza joint. Maybe domino's? Anyway. Inside is pretty small but fit my party of 11 fine at 3 different tables. The inside is a little janky with messed up paint - but it doesn't take away from the food. The portions are huge for the price - with the exception of the egg rolls. Egg rolls - Comes with 8, which is actually 4 skinny long ones cut in half. With fish sauce to dip. Crab Rangoon - basic. Filled with cream cheese and "crab" Bun dac biet - comes with grilled pork and shrimp, egg rolls, and at the bottom is tons of fresh veggies. Make sure to mix well unlike me or else you'll end up eating a salad at the bottom. Pho - all my other dining companions ordered pho. The large one is extremely large. It looked like 3 bowls combined into one. Although a large portion, the broth wasn't flavorful enough for me. We were all extremely hungry so there weren't many complaints but I definitely enjoyed the vermicelli a lot more.

This places pho was delicious! Food tasted great, prices were good & you could tell this place had a full family owned restaurant. The broth was delicious & so warming.

Pho dac biet, size small! This is a legit bowl of pho. The broth is amazing.

Solid bowl of pho! The broth is very rich and full of flavor. It's so hard to find a good bowl of pho here in Denver, so this place is definitely in our rotation. We usually start off with the spring rolls or goi cuon with pork! It's so good, the meat is flavorful and they are generous with all the ingredients. Pho Dac Biet is my go too. We tried the com dac biet as well. Not the best one I've ever had, but we'll just have to come back and try another one! Come here if you're craving a good bowl of pho, you won't regret it.

Decent pho, amazing vermicelli noodles. Ordered the beef pho and the combination vermicelli noodles and the portion size on both blew us away. The pho's broth was a bit lacking and the beef was a little chewy, but otherwise was good. The vermicelli was honestly some of the best I've had. Lots of marinated beef, chicken, pork and shrimp with ample fresh veggies too. The egg rolls on top were nice and crunchy too. Overall, fantastic place. Recommend the vermicelli.

Not my favorite pho place. Service was decent, but we didn't get water refilled quickly and the food didn't come out as fast as at other pho restaurants. The broth of the pho was tasteless and there wasn't as much meat as at other pho restaurants. Still, we were craving pho and this restaurant got the craving fulfilled.

Fresh cut jalapenos & limes. Pristine thai basil & crisp bean sprouts. No signs of bruising and browning- thank goodness!

Just moved in the area and was looking for my new "go-to" pho restaurapnt. Glad I found Pho 88! The service is friendly. The team at Pho 88 make you feel like you have been friends for years and make small jokes with you every time they see you. They are so welcoming and I like that! The pho is freaking delicious! The broth is bomb- it is not bland and it isn't too salty. Pho 88 is not cheap with their meats portion either. I crave pho every weekend after a wild night. It is the best hangover cure and I am so glad I found a pho restaurant that is consistent and give me that comfort feel. I am so happy to call this establishment my second home.

I'm so glad I decided to join my friends for lunch today and stumbled upon this place. The food was amazing and the boba is even better!!

These guys really try hard, so I try to go there once in a while just to patronize them. But their Pho is not the best in town.

The dining room where we enjoyed our delicious noodles and beef was so elegantly decorated. I plan on going back and getting more pictures as my phone was getting ready to die. I couldn't take pictures but anyways it was a wonderful experience. I plan on going back the gentleman that owned it. I can't say his name, but he was very respectful honorable and explained the meals to us as it was our first time and he saved us quite a bit of money explaining to us that the order of noodles and beef was big portion and that we did not need to order any appetizers, which was wonderful of him to point out. Needless to say the service the food. The whole experience was very wonderful. Thanks For The Read Until Next Time....

I came in on a very busy day of the year so am rounding up since the staff was working really hard to get orders out the door. I ordered a large chicken pho and roasted pork fresh spring rolls to go. The portion of pho broth and bean sprouts was great, but the amount of chicken was a bit disappointing (about 6 total pieces of shredded chicken). Broth was just ok, I added quite a bit of sriracha, lime, basil, and hoisin sauce and still felt it lacked some flavor. The spring roll portion size was great and I loved the massive serving of peanut sauce. The roasted pork inside was incredibly dry. I'd probably opt for tofu or shrimp next time.

On my search for the best Pho in Denver, I visited Faifo Noodle House last year and got their Beef…read morePho with extra Beef Rib. The broth was deep and aromatic and the portion size, especially with the beef rib, was massive. Everything was so impressive that since that visit, this place has been on my regular rotation for pho. Beside Pho, they have a few other offerings, one of which is rather unique. For the more adventurous, Faifo offers a spicy beef pho. This is a dry-style pho serves with all the fixin' and a spicy sate style sauce that makes for an amazing meal on a hot day. It also comes with a bowl of pho broth for satisfying sips between bites. This is easily one of my favorite dish on the menu and a must try here. Beside that, I've also had their Bun Bo Hue, which is pretty dang tasty. The broth is very tasty, though not as funky or spicy as ones I've had in Vietnam. Nonetheless, it's a mighty tasty bowl and something to get for the colder days here in Denver. Both the Bo Kho and the Banh Canh are also very good as well, though not a must compared to other dishes on the menu. Overall, Faifo is a great Vietnamese restaurant. The value is also tremendous given the portion size. This is an easy 4/5 for me.

Their bò kho definitely reminds me of my father's recipe, which is rich and not overly sweet. This aromatic Vietnamese beef stew is a fragrant broth infused with lemongrass, star anise, and spices. It's a bowl of distinct and complex flavor profile that balances savory, sweet, spicy notes, with a vibrant brick-red color from the annatto seeds. The cuts of beef shank, flank, and chuck were soft so you know they spent hours simmering to achieve this level of tenderness. The deep beef profile is highlighted when adding bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime juice to cut through the richness and carrots provided a natural sweetness to the savory broth. Bánh canh is a Vietnamese noodle soup featuring thick, chewy noodles made from tapioca flour, rice flour, or a mix, served in a flavorful broth with various toppings like pork, shrimp, crab, or fish cake. The broth is clean from the hours of simmering bones to create a savory, collagen-rich base. You can taste the freshness of the soup garnished with fresh cilantro, green onions, fried shallots, lime, and chili oil. Plus you get a boat load of proteins and garnishes - shrimp cake, imitation crab meat, shrimp, quail egg, mushroom, tapioca noodle, onion, cilantro and black pepper. We'll be back and try the bún bò huế and cá ri.
