I've been coming here for 15 years and I have never had such bad service and expensive food. For the same price these days I can get a much nicer dinner than chicken wings. I remember when their Monday night wing night was only .25 a wing. Now, they have jumped up to .59. On regular days they are about a buck a piece and you can only get one sauce per six. Meaning, if you want ten 4s and ten 5s you have to get twelve of each. They are also pretty dry and you have to pay extra for more sauce. Extra cost for dipping sauces and celery. Beer prices have also gone up. By the time you've had your wings and beer you've spent a pretty penny for something you could make for ten bucks at home in less time than waiting for a table smashed up against the rolling doors. We were so rudely taught this newer rule from our nasty brunette waitress. Not only could she spit some attitude on how things changed, when we were waiting in line for our table (that got passed by two other groups behind us), she was SO rude to one of my friends having a bad day that she made her cry and leave. Also, do not dare to ask if you can do the 7 alarm challenge on a Monday. Yes, it can be busy on this night,but cut the the 'tude! My first time to Seattle, craving my favorite food, wings. We had the fried pickles, cheesy garlic bread, Thai sweet chili and buffalo #4 alarm wings and it was all amazing! The wings were crispy and sauces were on point, best fried pickles I've had. I will defiantly be back next time I'm in town. read more

The wings were so so small like I was in disbelief and they tasted awful and the 3 alarm sauce was basically just butter and some pepper and the wings seemed a bit undercooked as well. The waffle fries weren't very good either. I won't be returning. This was my first time at WingDome, we came in on a Friday night and there was one other table in the restaurant. I chose the "user friendly" flavor of wings and I wish I would have gotten hotter. They tasted more like black pepper flavored than anything. The wings are mini sized and definitely not worth 10 dollars! Two orders worth should have been 10 dollars. We didn't get a side because, it's an extra $5 for fries which is a little ridiculous. The blue cheese tasted more like a honey mustard. Not awful just disappointed. Wings were so so and the burgers were burnt. Kids sliders so burnt the kids wouldn't eat them, so we had them redone, but the char taste was still bad. I think the grill needs cleaning, and I'm no burger snob, but the meat seamed kinda poor quality. read more

It depends. The wings are fantastic. Especially on Mondays, when they are less expensive (which they normally kinda are, for wings). The bad beer tastes wonderful with 5 alarms. The fries and other sides are excellent. Everything is the kind of greatness in the that perfect sorts of way that only something seriously dangerously bad for you can be. On the other hand just about everyone (including myself) that goes there on mondays can be pretty irritating. The staff is often kind of overwhelmed by the hordes and you can expect a few mistakes per order. Nothing big but you will not get your extra blue cheese unless you ask a few times. But then again. They work tirelessly keeping that horrible space from slipping into chaos. The plates of chicken hell they have to carry to and then from the tables all night would make me go crazy. I guess the staff kinda rules actually. They deserve at least 20% on your bills. Oh yeah. the veggie burger is super great as well. Really a great choice for vegetarians or meaties alike. read more

We went here yesterday ,placed our order and we were enjoying our drinks when the manager came over and told us they were out of chicken wings. What????? You're joking right???? No no wings they said the trunk hasn't deliver yet and they had been waiting all day. The manager said the delivery company hadn't called him back yet. If I managed this place I would be wearing the phone out not just sitting back taking orders for chicken I didn't have. Yummilicious! I had the 4star wings and they had the right amount of bite...grrrr!! I also had some of the honey n something & the southwest - they were just as delicious...salad & reg fries were yummy 2 - overall good experience...thankfully it wasn't super busy and our order came out fairly quick. i now have a new found love for hot wings :) read more

Happens every other time when I place my order to go and it takes about an hour and a half and I see people who order at the front get their food before me. I was also getting eyeballed by the owner because I was a different color. Who doesnt love buffalo wings. The wingdome takes it up a notch with a variety of different flavors and heat levels. I always get the 20 wing sampler. Pick any four sauces of five wings each. The spicy jerk flavor and teriyaki as well as cajun are always good bets. Sometimes wings are not very meaty thats why 15-20 wings are usually good. Met a friend here because it's one of his favorite places (he and his wife love hot wings) so I guess I expected more. The place was an automotive repair garage way back when, and it still has that funky-cool feeling to it (in other words, don't expect 'fancy'). The place was packed, we were the only group of 4 waiting and were told that the empty table right next to us and the 6 passenger table waiting to be cleared weren't available to us because they were being saved for parties of 5 or more. Really?? It was okay, we got seated pretty quick. Got beer and ordered some garlic fries to start with (drool) which were really good. The wings...well the sauces were good but some of the wings were a little overcooked before they were 'sauced'. Not as good as some other places that don't even specialize in wings. Could have been better. Went at lunch, had the lunch wing special. Hot wings were good, parmesan were TERRIBLE. It was just wings with a weird cheese sauce poured over and then sprinkled with parm cheese. They were gross! Made me sick. I will go there again, try something different and re-review. Been really craving hot wings ever since I saw an episode of Diner, Drive ins and Dives. (mouth watering) They were OK, honestly had better but there aren't that many places that do hot wings in Seattle, so whats a girl to do? Kinda pricey all things considered. Good wings, great some would say. Hot, plenty of them just all around amazing. My girlfriend took me here for a date one night, and I was very pleased with both the service, the atmosphere and everything about it. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it was packed and always seems to be, however when we went there we were told we would be seated in about 5-7 mins, it took a lot longer until we just went for sitting at the bar because we couldn't wait any longer and were so hungry. Filthy. I mean it. Last time I was there the tables were covered with ancient gook. The waitress came and wiped the table with a dirty rag but it didn't touch the old, stuck on stuff. Back in the Late 90s friends and I would meet here almost every week and I loved it. Since then I have gone back once every few months. A few months back I stopped by for lunch and the sauce had changed. I was told that new ownership had taken over and that the sauce was almost as good as before. I am originally from the Seattle area and whenever I go home to visit this is the ONE place I INSIST on going. Nothing better than these delicious spicy wings with a tasty cold one! This was a let down. The skin on the wings aren't cooked enough so it has that slightly chewy taste of boiled skin. Eek. We had the #4 heat level. I felt this truly fell flat. It was hot but wasn't a well rounded heat. It was just one spice. It had a somewhat watery taste to it. I also enjoy sitting at the bar but not looking into an entire kitchen. So I wrote my original review about a year ago-which was positive. However, things have appeared to change at the old Wingdome. We got takeout last night. The garlic fries were completely mushy-no crisp at all. Undercooked with a big pile of garlic on top-two bites and tossed them away. Yuck. Also got a chicken salad-chicken tasted like it had been sitting around and dressing was not good-very watery. Finally we had wings which were just OK. I've been here a handful of times, mostly out of desperation due to the fact that there aren't alot of options in Seattle for great wings, a few places that are decent but nothing out of this world. The last time I was here the service was mediocre and slow which was annoying but my biggest gripe is the wings themselves. The regular style wings taste like the secret ingredient is powdered cheese, like the kind you find in a box of Kraft macaroni and cheese. This most recent time I tried the 'buffalo juice' sauce (bit of a lurid title for a food item) which is supposed to be more of a vinegar based east coast style. The wings themselves were so overcooked I thought I was going to break a tooth, not to mention the sauce was so sweet it tasted more like bbq sauce than anything. Not trying to sound like a wing elitist, but hot wings aren't supposed to be sweet, ever. They definetely need to re-vamp their formula. Stopped in on 6/28 at 1:30pm for a professional matter and was rudely told that now was not a good time for the server who claimed to be busy with only 3 tables in the resteraunt, which 2 of them were 1 people each. The tables always seem sticky. The sauce on the wings is good. They are now selling wings by the pound and there is very little meat on the bones. I was there before and it seemed that I didn't notice the lack of chicken on the bone. It has the hallmarks of financial trouble. read more

Not impressed by the wings...they were some of the tiniest wings I have ever seen...do they use pigeon wings? Out of more than a dozen wings four were about 2" and we got only 3 drumettes. We got the traditional Buffalo wings, but they had NO sauce on them at all... they were deep fried and crispy, tiny and no sauce. This is a FAIL in my book. I had just gotten to the wing dome not knowing what to expect. I had heard good reviews verbally but I wasn't sure. They have a GREAT selection of wings and wing sauces. They have 7 sauces that are in order from least spicy to explosive! I had the level 3 which tastes AMAZING and the 5 which tastes good and is really hot! They have extraordinary posters and a great atmosphere that is the opposite of obsolete. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

First time going to Wing Dome. My boyfriend and I were seated quickly and courteously. The waitress gave us time to order and we ordered fried pickles, 1 lb garlic wings, and 1 lb level 4 wings. The deep fried pickles were DELICIOUS! Please note this appetizer is pretty big to even split between 2 people. Best I ever had! Our wings were cooked very well, the garlic flavor was excellent and my boyfriend was pleased with his wings. He's pacing/testing himself because he would like to try the 7 wing challenge in the future. Dont get me wrong the wings were very tasty and I liked the selection in both spicy level and flavors. However the wings were a bit pricier than they should be. I understand its a place that specializes in wings and they need to make money but they sell bone-in wings by weight rather than amount. I havent taken the time to weigh a wing before and after eating the meat but im willing to guess the bone holds at least 30% of the weight. Somewhat insulting to an item that is bite sized. Also if you aim to share its nice to know how many wings you will end up with rather than just a weight. All in all I would say you could find equally tasty wings for cheaper and with a more satisfying ordering system. read more
