The store has about three small tables and menu boards off the side and above the main refrigerator holding all the salad stuff. The one main fridge had bountiful selections for the salads. They have several styles as options or you can just create your own. I ended up getting a spring salad and a chicken Caesar salad to go along with an Italian Wedding soup. Everything was nice and fresh. The dressings were in plastic ramekins on the side so you choose how much or little you wanted. The menu boards also included sandwiches which I bet are good, too. The two staffers were friendly and the store appeared to be very clean and bright. I'm guessing they would get a lot of foot traffic as it's on the first floor of an office high rise. I was quite pleased with the food. $25 for the two salads and a soup.

I was disappointed about my eggs because I asked for them to be over hard. They were runny. I might as well stick to scrambled eggs at this point. Other than that, the food was mediocre at best. My friend said her hash browns were hard. The orange juice was the best thing I had. Service was okay. I wasn't really anything spectacular and it took a while for the server to come over in the first place. It's pretty inside but it was cold. It's winter time--I could use a little more heat!

I chose to build my own bowl with salmon as the protein and sides of cucumber tomato salad, mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes. The cucumber tomato salad was fresh, colorful, and visually beautiful. This is exactly what food should be. The garlic aioli was thick and full of flavor and made for a great dip. The char on the sweet potatoes was so good. The mac & cheese ended up being my favorite side. It was creamy, cheesy, and topped with the most satisfying crumble. The salmon (I chose the non- spicy option) was cooked to perfection with crispy skin and great flavor. As for drinks, DIG uses Boylan Bottling Co. for their fountain sodas instead of the typical Coke or Pepsi lineup. I'd never heard of Boylan before, but after trying their diet cola, I'm a fan--it's been around since 1891 for a reason! Overall, this was such a positive dining experience. I try to eat clean, wholesome foods, and DIG really delivers on that with fresh, beautiful ingredients and attentive service. There isn't a dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to find street parking, which is limited. Many of the nearby spaces seem to be occupied by neighboring businesses. One thing I did observe that concerned me was food handling. I saw a few employees using their cell phones in the kitchen area. After using their phones, they appeared to go back to handling food without first washing their hands or putting on fresh gloves. The employee who prepared my pizza was not one of the people I observed doing this, so I felt okay about my order. However, cell phones can carry a lot of germs, and proper handwashing before handling food is an important food safety practice. I hope management reminds employees to wash their hands and change gloves after using their phones. Overall, the service was fine, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the pizza for the price.
