Carnitas Bowl with over easy egg
    Bueniel K.

I love having the option of Urban Egg as a Sunday brunch spot. I ordered the Carnitas Bowl with the Maui Waui mimosa. There was a long wait time, slow service, and difficult to park. A bit noisy due to its popularity but still worth the food! The waiters were very friendly and responsive to requests.

Tuscan eggs Benedict Missing one yoke.

Urban Egg delivered a great overall experience. The service was impeccable from start to finish, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, which always makes a difference. I ordered the Tuscan Eggs Benedict, and flavor-wise it was excellent. The sweet balsamic added a really nice depth and balance -- easily one of the highlights of the dish. That said, one of the eggs came without a yolk, which was disappointing, especially for a Benedict. The staff did correct it quickly, which I appreciated, but the replacement still resulted in only one proper yolk, which took away from what could've been a perfect plate. Overall, great food, great people, and great service -- just a small execution miss on a dish where the yolk really matters. I'd definitely come back and give it another shot.

Great spot for some delicious breakfast. We had a large party and we were able to get seated quickly. Cute diner / Sunday morning breakfast spot. We ordered a lot of different items and each was delicious. My personal order was the carnitas bowl and it was really filling! Portions are reasonable and prices similar to any middle tier breakfast spot. Definitely would recommend!

Oh my goodness this was a fantastic choice for a birthday brunch. There was 8 of us and they accommodated each and every one of us. Food was incredible! And the building is wonderfully decorated! Our server was soooo nice. High high highly recommend coming here!

I live in Denver but had some work early in the Springs. Tried the eatery and liked the protein bowl but not the avacado sauce they put on top. Great all you can drink coffee and great service.

Honestly pretty impressed. This was our first time at the Briargate location and our server was friendly plus food came out quickly especially considering how busy they were on a Sunday morning. For a veggie option, I definitely recommend the burrito with mushrooms. I liked that the potatoes had seasoning. Latté was tasty and had a proper 2 shots of espresso in it. My husband enjoyed the pancake flight which was huge. Would go back!

Always a great vibe at the PineCreek area in the eatery with current music and great drinks and food. Try a weekday breakfast escape at Urban Egg in Pine Creek / Briargate area with great drinks and amazing food. The service is always accurate and fast. Visit during a week day or the weekend for a brunch with friends , co-workers or family. I wouldn't sit outside during the winter season , but the patio seating open during rest of year is enjoyable and traffic won't impact your breakfast or brunch experience. Seating is available around the bar area , too. You'll enjoy the vegetarian options and the dressed greens sides and fruit options are always very delicious. All breakfast options are tasty and brunch/lunch sandwich options . Cold brews are very strong and spiced just right. Bringing your friends for a holiday work party, girls get-together or birthdays for family and friends in a large oversized booth . At the bar enjoy drinks and great atmosphere , while being able to hear your friends or coworkers. Plan ahead for weekends .

    Protein Bowl, Side Pancake

Food: I ordered the 'Protein Bowl' for $17.75, pictured below. The flavor was excellent; it was incredibly tasty and unique. The eggs were cooked well, the hash browns were crispy, and the avocado sauce was great. My one complaint was that for the price, I felt the portion size was stingy: almost $18 for what felt more like $13-$15 of food. The other pictured dish is a quinoa bowl my wife ordered that also had a pleasant taste, but was again overpriced for what it was. I believe it was around $14 for basically oatmeal and fruit. She also ordered a side of scrambled eggs that were very bland. Service: Service was good, not great. Our orders were accurate, and drinks came out quickly. However, our table was missing many condiments, and we were seated without silverware. Our server was mildly conversational, but very curt, and seemed irritated; I'll give her a pass since we went at a busy time. Ambiance: There's not much to talk about in this category. It was a very generic casual restaurant interior. The environment was pretty loud, but easy to hear conversation at our table. I will say, the chair was light and wobbly, and was difficult to pull out from the table without making a scraping sound on the floor. But these are nitpicks. Overall, a pretty solid experience. Nothing special. The food is pretty tasty, but is overpriced in my opinion. Also the "healthy food" section is more of a "superfoods" healthy food vibe than a "science based lifting" healthy food vibe, if that makes sense.

We made the reservation specifically to celebrate a special occasion, yet neither the hostess nor our waiter (Brayden) even acknowledged it. When we mentioned it ourselves, the only gesture was one measly glass of cheap champagne for a table of four. The dress code was a joke. OpenTable lists it as Business Casual, but we saw the hostess in sweatpants and Chuck Taylors, a server in what looked like physical training gear and Crocs, plus plenty of T-shirts, shorts, and open-toed shoes. Perhaps they should take their meals outside. Only the north section was seated during our visit, directly in the blinding sunset from 6-7pm. The only logical reason to keep it open seems to be avoiding cleaning it at close. Both surf & turf steaks arrived undercooked, and everything was wildly overpriced. Finally, Brayden--we could already tell your preference; the rainbow coordinating pens weren't necessary. Will never return. Damn food made all us gassy as hell.

We had a window seat looking right to the mountains. Great view! They have shades that come down as the sun starts to set. Is the decor "upscale", no. It's very nice but it's a hotel restaurant that serves breakfast too. So it can't be the decor of high end restaurants around town, but it is still nice. The killer views easily make up for that. They also have west facing outdoor seating..that will be nice in the summer! I just don't eat as much as I used to so my wife and I decided to split the Caesar salad and split the chicken pot pie. I assumed they would bring the one salad and two plates for us to do the splitting.....but no! They brought out the salads already split and ready to go. They did the same for the pot pie with each serving topped with a biscuit for the pot pie part. It was also nice that they didn't add a split plate fe The salads were good we both thought the pot pie was good and of course the half price wine was nice. The wine list is not extensive but some decent choices gruner (white) wine. I can't complain about the service, our service was friendly and attentive. I'm just a tough critic and while some folks gave 5 stars I'm at 4.

Since we had our pup with us, we chose to sit outside on the patio, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Alyssa was our server, and she was absolutely fantastic. You could tell she truly enjoys her job--she even shared that she's been with the restaurant since it first opened at this location. She was personable, polite, and friendly, all while doing an excellent job taking and delivering our order. One thoughtful touch that stood out was when she surprised us with a pancake and toppings to try, knowing we were visiting Colorado Springs. It was such a kind and memorable gesture. We went on a weekday, so there was no wait for seating, which made the experience even more pleasant. Overall, we had a great family breakfast, and much of that was thanks to Alyssa's outstanding customer service. The view house welcomed us with open arms. As I stated initially in this review, the food and the ambience are amazing, but what really made the experience testimonial worthy was, Vincent, our waiter/server. Dude rolled in with a small notepad, a smile, calm demeanor, and took every order, every drink, every appetizer, and even dealt with all these freaking knucklehead kids. I woke up and said the exact thing to My Wife yesterday. So, Vincent, hats off to you and everybody there. To the people behind-the-scenes making the food, THANK YOU! PS. Not a mistake was made. We had 12:30pm reservations, one would think that they would be quite busy at that time, at least busy enough for the food to turn over. Apparently not, as you can probably tell by the photos. I don't care that they weren't busy, someone should be there checking the quality of the food and changing it out as needed. The service was less than stellar as well. I'm glad I was able to try it to see what it was all about, but I'm pretty sure I won't be going back. *Although it doesn't look too bad in the photos, the pizza never moved, it was the same dried out product that was there from the time I arrived until the time I left. The lobster tail was tough and had some sort of funky spice or something that just tasted really weird. I took a picture of the Caesar salad, which sat almost empty until I was about ready to leave, unfortunately it came out really blurry so I deleted the photo off my phone. The million dollar bacon was hard and cold, they should probably change the name to "50 cent bacon." Most of the temperatures of the food were questionable, lukewarm at best. I never once saw anyone checking temps.
