I bought wings and nachos for the national championship game. LITERALLY WORST FOOD EVER. I ordered hot and teriyaki wings and i could not tell the difference in flavor. They were bland and burnt. The nachos are beef (unseasoned apparently) cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. No guac , no beans, onions, salsa. How you ruin nachos is beyond me. Maybe the other food on the menu is better but this was the worst food I ever spent money on. read more

My family and I used to love this place but we have been pretty disappointed with it lately. The last two times we have gone there the wings have been bad. Several of the wing bones were broken and were hard to eat without getting pieces of bone in your mouth and they were also soaked in grease. I obviously expect grease but that was all I could taste. One time we got a completely wrong order and forgotten items. We gave them another chance but it was still the same outcome. Too bad :( We really enjoyed this place when it was good. read more

I brought a chicken finger basket from here. The breading on the chicken was mushy and just fell off. When I called the restaurant for a refund I was advised that they do not give refunds but I can get a gift card... When I got to the store and showed the manager the chicken she said sometimes the bread falls off. To be honest none of that was an issue with me. What bothered me was she never said sorry and she had an attitude. So now I have a gift card that will never be used because I will never go back to the Fort Mill Wing King again. read more

Wings are OK but service is really bad. Easy to observe poor systems and poor management. They never answer the phone. I've called them at least ten times and every time either got a busy signal or it just rang and rang with no answer. Had slow service on my first visit a couple weeks ago and figured I'd give them another try (everyone has a bad day). Today I placed a to-go order at the restaurant and was told it would be 25 minutes. Forty-five minutes later I was told they ran out of wings (???) and it would be at least 15 more minutes. Got a refund and won't be back. read more

These wings are fantastic! The boneless wing meat is white and not at all fatty. The fried breaking is slightly crunchy and the sauces are so good! Tons of choices and super yummy! read more

We have ordered from Wing King quite a few times and really enjoyed it. Today we dined in. Our server had THE WORST attitude. She would not smile. She would barely look at us. She was this way with the table behind us too. Just a miserable person. It was very uncomfortable having to deal with her. To make matters worse, there was a hair in my food. My daughter and I went on a Friday night to have dinner. We come eat at this location at least once a week. We were waiting over 30 minutes for a table. We noticed that 2 big groups which had just come in we're seated right away. When I asked the hostess if we had been passed up, she told me that they seat bigger groups at the bigger tables. It kind of rubbed me the wrong way, as all the tables seat 4 and are pushed together for larger groups. At this point I decided to leave. I will not come back and will tell my friends to stay away unless they are going in a large group. read more

My boyfriend and I went there, because he was craving some wings and we always drive by , and decided to stop in. Huge mistake on our part! We were seated outside, asked for a drink menu and they didn't have one. So, I then asked her what the specials were , she had to run inside and look real fast. Then she said, "oh, we'll our bartender she can make anything ." So , I asked for a mojito , she comes out two seconds later..actually we don't have fresh mint. I then just ask for a sangria . When she brought my sangria out, it just tasted like fruit punch with maybe a little wine, and some fruit in it. It was literally pathetic, and all that's was just in the first 10 minutes. My boyfriend orders , the wings which comes with fries and coleslaw. I order the turkey burger which comes with fries , and a pickle upon request. My boyfriend gets his meal, I get mine and look at it with such disbelieve. I'm looking at a turkey burger that was not fresh, but was a frozen one. The fries were also not freshly cut and had been frozen then cooked. Now, I understand that most places don't have fresh cut fries, but I could not believe that my entire meal had just all been frozen, then essentially just warmed up. I could have just gone to Walmart and done the same exact thing. People go out to eat so they can get food made by professionals, not frozen meals that are just warmed up. My boyfriend never got his coleslaw , and had to ask for it. She brings out a tiny little container of coleslaw after we were already half way through with our meal. When we are finished we get the bill, I'm just so frustrated at this point, I go inside and ask to speak with the manager. The manager comes up to me, and I tell her all the issues I had. That I was annoyed by the fact that my whole meal had essentially just been warmed up, and my boyfriend had to ask for something that was suppose to come with his meal. Now, I work in sales , so I expected her to be very apologetic about it, and come up with some type of solution. However, that was not the case at all. She argued with me and said the turkey burger was freshly made, and so were the fries. Also the reason that the coleslaw was not brought out, is because people always throw them away so you have to ask if you want them. I said hmmm, we'll maybe you should ask people , instead of just assuming nobody wants them. She just shrugged her shoulders, and didn't care. I said to her, we'll this has been a terrible experience, I will never be coming back. She just said okay, and stood there looking at me with a bored look on her face. I was in complete shock, that she was a manager and she was representing wing king cafe in this light . My boyfriend and I paid for our meals, and left with a dissatisfying taste in our mouths. I was so upset about the experience that I had last night, I called this morning , and spoke to another manager. Hoping, that today my experience with wing king would be different. Sadly , that was not the case . It was actually worse (which I didn't think could be possible). He did confirm that my turkey burger was indeed frozen but that's the only thing on the menu that is frozen. I said it's very pathetic that your own manager does not know about your menu and your food prep. He kinda just mumbled, and never really offered any solution . Just said we'll sorry, and would just give me an array of excuses. I have never written a review about a place before , however my experience was so utterly horrific there, and the apathetic attitude from the managers , I felt the need to write one. Disgusted and sick. No one will ever convince me that whoever prepared this sandwich would ever have eaten themselves. It should be a crime for a cook to knowingly serve something rotten. There are no two ways around it. I was intentionally served obvious old meat. The menu described it as thin sliced roast beef. After one bite I realized I needed to open the bun to see what actually had been served. Jerky would have been a better descriptor. I'm certain this was meat that had been in a refrigerator so long it had dried out and burned. I never write reviews but I'm so disgusted right now I'm pissed off. I'm mainly pissed at the cook who made me take a bite of this rotten piece of meat. I don't know if the cook was trying to play a joke or if it was the work of a sociopath. If you want take out on Friday or Saturday forget calling in your order. The phone is constantly busy and when you go there to place your order, you will have to wait an hour. You would think if they were that busy they would expand their operation to meet demand. The wings are really good but not good enough to wait an hour just for take out. This place is always crowded but not too long of a wait to sit. Service is very attentive, every time we had more than two sips of our lemonades she was refilling all our glasses. I ordered the wings, well done with medium buffalo sauce and it was cooked perfectly but more of a kick than usual medium sauce, a little on the hotter side but very good. These are probably some of the best wings I have had so far living down south. We also had the appetizer of fried pickle chips, it was a small order that was enough for four people. Another item was the nachos, nothing fancy but tasted delicious. All in all we had a very good meal with enough to take home for another snack. The kids grilled cheese and fries are also delicious. We ate like a bunch of wild animals and the bill was barely $40 for all four of us, great value and quality of food. Now I know where I'll be getting my wings from now on. read more

My husband and I went in on a Sunday afternoon, for wings and to watch the Panther's game. We got there and there were no empty tables, which we thought was a good sign, and found seats at the bar. The service was OK, not great, not terrible. After a few minutes of sitting at the bar, the man next to my husband started talking to us. My husband is very friendly and started making small talk. He then disappeared for awhile, we assumed he was gone and ate our lunch. About 30 minutes later he came back with a new drink and a shot in his hand (not sure where they came from bc there is only one bar) He then starting talking to me and got a little bit inappropriate, at which point my husband asked for the check. We tried to ignore him while we paid, and the bartender did nothing to help the situation. As we were about to leave, the drunk man asked my husband for a ride home. Really?!? who is this guy? My husband politely told him no and I had already gotten up and walked away towards the door. My husband said he got very upset and started cursing at him as he walked away. The "manager" was at the host stand on our way out, and we stopped to tell him that this guy was harassing us, was very intoxicated and needed a cab. He asked us to point him out, and when we did, he laughed, saying, "oh, he's a regular who always gets that drunk." WOW. If they would rather have customers like that, over paying, polite and good tipping customers, they got it! We will NEVER go back. read more

Horrible.. We went to wing king for lunch today because my husband had a craving for wings and I had a gift card. We showed up, and read the seat yourself sign and did just that. It took the wait staff no time to get drink orders, and we made an order for food when the drinks returned. We ordered fries and fried pickles for starters, as we had three kids with us that were hungry. The rest, three corn dog meals for the kids, an order of wings for hubs, and I got a chicken Caesar wrap. The restaurant was not packed, but there was a large team eating lunch. We waited over thirty minutes before the waitress came over to apologize for the wait. Apparently, they serve one party at a time, and since the team came in before us, we had to wait. This is ridiculous. Our starters were fried...how hard is it to make fried pickles and French fries? We had enough and just walked out. I can not attest to what the food would have been like, as we ate nothing is the almost hour we were there. We will never go back. When I mentioned the experience, a large number of friends knew where I went without my naming the place, and more said they hated this place. I suggest they re-think how they process orders or get more cooks. read more
