It's been months since I ordered from this establishment, but I have ordered over the years being a Bristol Township resident since 1982. As I recall, there has always been a problem with my order. They promise to make up for it next time, but that doesn't happen. Tonight was the last straw. Ordered 2 large bourbon chicken, 3 spring rolls and house special delight/w no pork. Gave driver $60. Later find out it's 2 reg. bourbon chicken, 2 spring rolls and 1 small rice. When I called they say bourbon chicken is only appetizer. The bourbon chicken is not hitting at all! We now live in a world you can order the holy grail of Dim Sum samplers from Wing Wah, the Special Dim Sum Platter! Behold ( 4 pork shumai, 4 shrimp dumpling, 2 beef stick ,3 mini spring roll). Shrimp dumplings take the prize with this order as they are marvelous, Por Shumai packed fully and great as well, beef sticks were some of the best I have had in a long time, lastly the mini spring rolls are very mini, reminds me of eating a flaunta type appetizer at a Mexican restaurant but they are crunchy as hell and a great finger food with the last of the small type items in this order. Wonton Soup - I had high hopes as the broth was a darkish color which is usually indicative of a slightly salty yet savory broth. I was a little disappointed as I was expecting a good soup but I felt it was lacking flavor, perhaps a one off, will update review on next try. House Lo Mein - I liked the fact it was a healthy eat compared to other Chinese places Lo Mein's with no sauce or greasiness but again this was lacking flavor. Free Delivery was on my order, not sure if this was because it my was first order from here or it is always free delivery but this will definitely be my go to spot for a while with such a banger of an item as the Special Dim Sum Platter. Wing Wah Chinese Restaurant on New Falls Road, Levittown, PA, is a better than average Chinois Americain house. All takeout in response to Covid protocols, it has a decent kitchen if you are looking for something beyond the ordinary menu. Yet, it is far from perfect, and the actual Yelp score is closer to 3.5 Stars when taking all sampled dishes into consideration. I really enjoyed the Beef with Hot Peppers. The meat was tender, the sauce nicely spiced (but, not to Szechuan heat levels), and the onion and carrot thin slices made for a pleasant blend of flavor and texture. The Orange Chicken was abundant, and about average for the genre. It was all white meat with orange peel in the dark brown saucy mix, which was appreciated so much more than some who use cheaper dark meat as a loss leader. Unfortunately, the Wonton Soup destroyed the overall evaluation, because it was hardly worth consuming. It was salty bouillon and thick skinned dumplings, with indescribable meat filling that almost took my appetite away. So, avoid the soups that have probably been sitting around too long, and focus on their special dishes not usually found on the universal Chinese American menu. We ordered our food for takeout for our Christmas dinner. Everything was good to pickup at 2pm. When I ordered my food I specifically asked for white meat chicken. I can't eat the dark meat they usually make with General Taos chicken. I have a swallowing problem & it's way too stringy for me. I was assured that it would be fine. When I picked up our order everything looked fine & I took it home. Bad me, I didn't look IN THE BAGS. I just thought that the bags looked fine. Took everything home & NO RICE. NOT A SINGLE PIECE!! I called them & they didn't even just say come back. They wanted to check to find out who took my order. Where was my order? They had to have the person call me back to verify my order & check that I didn't receive my rice!!!! WHY WOULD I WANT TO INCONVENIENCE MYSELF ON CHRISTMAS DAY TO STEAL RICE FROM THEM??!! They told me to keep my phone line open so someone could call me back!! I got back in my car & was almost in their parking lot by the time they got back to me. I asked for 3 large white rice (6 people) & wanted to pay for 2 egg rolls. Then I thought I should get an extra rice. Asked for another rice. Instead of customer service gesture $4.50!! Egg rolls were free!! When I finally got to eat my food (cold). There was white meat chicken, but under it was that nasty dark meat I asked not to be there. Unfortunately I cut some up in what I was eating, it did get stuck in my throat. That was the end of my night. I couldn't eat anything else the rest of the night I had to dislodge it after everyone left. Miserable night & horrible dinner for our Christmas It's sad to spend $150 with tip for Chinese & have so much go wrong We usually do takeout at WingWah regularly and are happy. Unfortunately I'm not sure if we'll be doing it any time soon It's even interesting to note that the eat in part of the restaurant was empty. Not one single person was eating there. They were only doing takeout at that point so they weren't waiting on customers too. There were plenty of people waiting on takeout & funny thing was too, when I placed my order, whoever took my order asked me if I knew where they were located??!! I laughed when they asked me that & my husband was like what??!! My phone number should be burned in their phones!! Lol **I do want to add that I always offer to pay extra for my "all white meat" request. Not sure what the good reviews were about. My husband and I ordered food from there last night. It was terrible. The only thing that was good were the fortune cookies. Everything else was either not cooked right or bland. I would never order from there again. It was a big disappointment. I actually really like the food here. It's not completely authentic like true sichuan or cantonese palces, but the food is far better than any other american-chinese place around. The pork in the fried rice and wonton soup tasted homemade. It's not that mystery pork. I got a black bean sauce beef lunch special. It was actually spicy which is hard to find from a chinese-american place. The beef was tenderized and a little fatty. That's why I had to take a star away. The vegetables were crunchy and clearly fresh instead of frozen. The wonton soup was not salty at all and tasted like a homemade broth. The wontons were thick and doughy which I like, but some people don't. The almond cookies were SO GOOD. They tasted so fresh and they were like almond flavored shortbread. This place has the BESTTTT crab rangoons I've ever had. They're the perfect combination of sweet and creamy. I get them every time I come here. Definitely a hole in the wall establishment and when you enter, there isn't much to see - but don't let that discourage you. The food here is always great, even when ordering right before closing. Paid $8+ for shrimp wonton noodle soup. I wanted wontons made with shrimp, I asked the employee if the soup had wontons and noodles. I ordered at 11:00 and didn't receive my food until 1:20: I received a quart full of lomein noodles with a little bit of soup and a bunch of tiny shrimp. I asked what is this- where is the shrimp wontons? She took it back and came back 5 minutes later with Shrimp shumai added on top of the sand soup. Shrimp shumai take way longer to cook so these were microwaved and added in. No spoon in the bag and had to ask for soy sauce. 30 min later and with terrible service I received a quart of soup with random pieces of shrimp, probably beef broth, soggy lomein noodles, and 4 probably uncooked shumai. Never coming here again. Especially wouldn't have cared if there was an apology for taking 20 minutes to make soup. And the fact that she tried to make me think a shumai is the same as a wonton dumpling. Pick somebody else who doesn't know about Asian cuisine to try to trick. read more

Last night me and my boyfriend ordered from Wing Wah on New Falls Road in Levittown, PA. Overall it was probably the WORST Chinese food I have ever had. I had to call three separate times to even place my order because the lady would pretend like she couldn't hear me or would just hang up on me. Once we finally placed our order we went to pick it up and it was DISGUSTING. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce and it looked and tasted horrible. Not only was it unappetizing it also made me sick. My boyfriend ordered chicken fried rice and an egg roll and he got sick as well. He said that his food was bland and had no flavor and was up all night getting sick because of it. If you want to waste your money on nasty food just to throw it up the next day, this is the place to go. I will never be coming back here again. read more

It's all pretty standard here. I like their vegetable dumplings. They make them really thin and delicate, so they fall apart really easily. I have ordered many Chinese dishes from many Chinese restaurants and although each dish tastes a tad different they still have similar flavor profiles BUT this place is the exception. My family and I ordered general tso chicken and shrimp and broccoli and when the food arrived I was confused. It didn't look like either of the two dishes we ordered and the taste - I had to spit it out. It was so bad and so uneatable (yes I made up that word) that I had to drive there and demand a refund. I hate doing that usually if something is not to my satisfaction I make note of it and eat what I can I hate sending food back but there was no way I could eat it. I don't even think a dog would eat it. They were nice given the circumstance that I said I must return the food for full refund although I got some ugly stares. Do not order the Sweet and Sour Chicken, it does not have chicken in it, they instead it has a half chicken half substitute fake substitute. I suspect there are other foods on their menu are also fake/cheap substitutes. As if this was not bad enough, I had pre-counted the money I was going to hand the delivery boy, and after handing it to him he knocks on the door again saying I had give him 5 less dollars then I had. He demanded I give him 5 more dollars. I did and called their store to talk to their manager. She said the delivery boy was actually the store owner and I should buy a security camera. Then she proceeded to defend his theft and I demanded a refund. The only good thing I can say about them is they did refund me the money, but not the 5 stolen dollars which they continued to dent demanding video proof. I was a loyal customer for 6 months and the store's owner stole from me himself. Not at all like normal Chinese food. General Tso's chicken was basically dry with barely any sauce. The Broccoli was hard, not al dente. Unfortunately the boneless BBQ ribs were also dry and no sauce. Not even on the side. It was just dry pieces of red meat. The pork dumplings had no flavor and the sauce only made them more than edible. Has to be the WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten. Not just for New York standards. I am talking ever. read more
